  • It's a bold claim, but in this video I'm going to show you what I think is the single best exercise to help people with their shoulder pain.
This is especially true if you're dealing with rotator cuff irritation, rotator cuff weakness, and have difficulty lifting your arm due to shoulder pain.
Learn how to improve your shoulder pain by exercising your OPPOSITE arm. It sounds crazy, but that's what I meant!
Check out the video for a full demonstration and explanation.
If you do have a chance to try the exercise, please leave me a comment below to let me know how it went!
And make sure to "like" and "subscribe" before you go :-)

I love this - concept, exercise, and results!
    GENIUS
I’m a Rehab, massage and qigong practitioner since 1987.
Testing this technique out on a minor rotator cuff issue in my right shoulder.
Thankfully my left shoulder is happy and a good healthy reference ✅
Makes a noticeable and significant change with one iteration, and by 3x of two sets of 15 on the good side, the target side works more smoothly, less pain, and better range of motion. Much more normal feeling and functioning!
Tried 3 exercises - lateral extension, superior extension, and a cross body shoulder/arm flexion. Each registered subjectively in ~ 35 issue range. After ~ 3.
    Super!
    Thanks Doc!

Hi Luke, the TMR technique seems to have immediate relief results. I will include this in my daily exercises. I have a partial tear on my supraspinatus muscle. Have had three injections with no help. The surgeon says will only operate on a total tear. Any further help with specific exercises you can recommend to promote complete healing?

Yes, doing pain-free rotator cuff strengthening should help as well. I have several videos on the subject. You might start with this one: ruclips.net/video/xbLPHannaog/видео.html. Good luck!

I’ve been diagnosed with rotator cuff problems since 1999 when I hurt my shoulder. I have always been told that I have good strength. Back in 2015 I was going to p t in a different state. Even with good strength the therapist had me working on strengthen exercises. I was feeling really good. I am going to p t again and I the therapist said I have good strength. When I do the exercises, I feel like I don’t have good strength. I shake while doing the exercises. So, to me I would think it’s too much. I would think, back off and start at basics again and work up to harder things

Right shoulder problem, AC. Just tried Gordon's exercise: two sets of 15 with left arm while standing rather than seated. Before, right arm got to 90 degrees (i.e. horizontal) when pain began. Afterwards reached about another 25 to 30 degrees before pain began.

Whoops! Checked and now realise "Gordon" is Luke's surname, not his first name. Sorry.

This is amazing! It really works! Thank you so much. Your videos on Rotator Cuff Tendonosis are really helpful. I’ve been getting PT for three months and have had more success with your ideas.

If you have a specific question, you can ask it here. I don't typically work with clients unless they live near my clinic, although I have other PT friends who offer web-based help.
