I have the same options on the sculpting tools, I even tried a wacom tablet, yet the strength, smoothness and shape of the sculpting specially the crease are not the same, yours looks better and one stroke have a more significant strength, what could be the reason?
Yes, for sculpting a graphics tablet makes life so much more easier... I linked one in the video description - wacom intuos S (not that expansive and works prefectly for stuff like this)

check that your dyntopo options are at subdivide collapse and relative detail
