Nuno's tapping arpeggios are so hard to play at first, but once you get it down, oh God do you feel like a beast afterwards :P
That was awesome! Was looking for a solo for my Nuno style song...can I steal all of this? Okay? Good! 5 more years to be able to play this, and i should be set!
But seriously, I always think crap about people not doing justice to Nuno in lessons on his style, but this is 5 stars!
@ajvanho007 Thanks for the comment, we let the tutors teach on whatever guitar they bring in, so its really down to them which ones they use and feel comfortable using. Something to bear in mind is that you dont need the top gear to learn these licks. We have many gear reviews on practice amps and different guitars within our Guitar Interactive Magazine - which might be worth a look, each review has a video. Hope that helps. @shredfan666 The simple answer is that we legally cannot do this. The reason being is that there are very strict licensing and copyright controls concerning the production of musical notation and TAB both on printed paper and digtial media such as PDF documents.
@scotto111c The hairband is there to mute the strings so that if you accidentally hit an open string when you're playing, it doesn't ring out and cause everything to sound crappy. It's useful if you're trying to do a fast solo run or something. A lot of bands will probably do something similar in the studio.

andy james mentioned the hairband in the tapping techniques dvd he done. i then used a hair bobble and its amazing i sound really unsloppy now

I like Nuno as a player he is very unique, but when he sees Andy James doing this he must just be like... that guys better than me. James is so clean its crazy.

@SLAPPAGEAR andy teaches the solo in sections telling you and showing you each of the notes and how each is played. Then you can string them together to create the performance above...any further questions just fire away!

For those of you who are beginners...95% of your tone is in your own two hands. No amount of pro gear is going to make you a better player. You can learn any of this stuff on any decent guitar and amp combo. Sure there is gear out there that is just pure crap no matter who is playing through it. But there are also very well designed and made guitars and amps out there that while not exactly "pro", will give you a decent playing platform.

@ajvanho007 The guitar Andy is using in this video is far from top tier quality. For a lot of recording they also just use some POD or digital recording device i believe unless otherwise explicitly stated. Correct me if i'm wrong.
