    You should have made it known that it is a Q50S initially during the video.

    The old exhaust is amazing. It's so distinctive, you don't even have to look to predict what car is driving by. I guess infinity focused a little more on luxury. Personally, I liked the raw and slightly unsophisticated G. But I do love the looks of the Q.

  • @knhl1808
    @knhl1808 11 лет назад +7

    Yes you can hear that amazing exhaust from a block away, I love it! And yes the Q50 looks great! They really nailed it with this one. I cant wait to see them on the streets!

    As a Q50S Hybrid owner, I can assure everyone there is not a power thigh extention. That switch is for the horizontal side lumbar support. The leg extenders are manual.

    Get real people,have a new Q50 with every available pack fitted.The European version is fitted with the Mercedes 2.2 Diesel engine with 7 speed auto transmission.On the legal speed limit of 70 I get 55 MPH,that is UK gallons.Amongst the goodies fitted is a Bose 14 speaker sound system,Radar cruise control,and a lot more.great car to drive so smooth and responsive and does it go well.Why did I buy it well it had 10k off the sticker price.

    I agree, It looks nothing like those cars like you said. The only feature that looks somewhat similar is the taillights from a distance. In person, it doesn't look similar to me because the taillights are much more intricate, especially at night with L.E.D's. Anyone who says it looks like the lexus is legally blind.

  • @chigasaki06
    @chigasaki06 11 лет назад

    It's to basically copy the Germans. Don't forget that the new VP of Infinity came from Audi. That's why they're renaming the G coupe, to the Q60. So the sedan is Q50, coupe Q60. BMW, the 3 series, and 4 series for the coupe.

  • @afrosheenix
    @afrosheenix 11 лет назад

    No power thigh extension; that's manual and there's a lever under the thigh support for it. The switch you hit at 1:18 is for the side bolsters. You also didn't have to mash the remote 5 times to unlock it. There are sensors inside the door handles that unlock it for you...you leave the key in your pocket all the time.
    Also, not HID headlights. They are full LED for lows and highs. The taillights are a mirror version of the headlights. Hyundai, blech.
    Need to go to Q50 school, son. :)

    I don't like it either but they are going to be renaming their whole vehicle lineup soon. Q = Sedans, coupes, convertibles QX = SUVs. The Q60 will most likely be a Coupe version of the Q50, and it's rumored that they will announce a Entry-level Q40 to compete with the Lexus CT and the BMW 1series, etc...

    Shawd comes with 305 BHP. It is heavier though with the awd and tech package. On the other hand it does has Shawd which is really efficient in power distribution so around corners it can be more aggressive. The Nissan would be faster in a straight line and depending on the track may be better or worse. As far as interior quality goes though I'd say both are pretty much on par at this level. The G version's tend to be a little less focused on ergonomics.

    If I could add my two cents this has been done for a long time, especially when a car is redesigned. Even back in the 80s, the 1984 Corvette was released in March of 1983. By the way, I just bought a 2014 Mazda 6, it was released in February of 2013.

    HELP------------Last month I bought a used infiniti 2014 Q50 3.7, I found it fuel economy is 15.9 MPG. However, the official data city is 20 MPG. Does anyone know did this means I was buy a problem car???????????

    • @lovenpeace271
      @lovenpeace271 9 лет назад

      yuchao tian it only means that you are too cheap to have bought a luxury car. No other problem. 10-20% variance with quoted MPG is always expected. Rarely does a company under quote its MPG rating

    I can see Infiniti staying with the old 3.7 liter VQ series engine for a couple of years, but that is really the most disappointing part of this whole car. Was expecting a 2.8 - 3.0 liter turbo direct injection engine. I really doubt the fuel economy will improve much as the previous EPA figures were highly optimistic. DSG transmission would be nice, but minimal changes on the powertrain side of things.
