The Engel user manual specifies these oil requirements, Kele: 0.38 litres of SAE SJ 15W-40 grade API Service SE or higher. There is no automatic feature to turn the generator off, this will happen if it runs out of fuel though. ~ Ben
Hey guys, thanks. I was eyeing off this unit a month or so ago. Keen to understand run times, especially when under heavy load. Is there somewhere that information can be found which is reliable, or have you experience on this unit running an caravan airco or similar?
We dont at this stage @Stewart Glatz, as they're fairly new to us, but Engle are coming to do a run through on these for us in the near future. I've sent through an email to see if I can get more info for you. ~ Lauren
We don't sell caravan air conditioning units, so I can't talk confidently to your question, but it looks like those units require up to 3100W, this generator only provides 2500W so may be a little small for your needs. I'd suggest confirming with a caravan company though. ~ Ben
Wow, sounds nice

Thats exact same as the RATO 2500IS, would of came out of the exact same factory.
Not familiar with that one, but possibly!
