I personally dont have kids but have enjoyed your content for years, it's helped me through so many phases in my life (moving, seasonal, organization, mental discipline, etc). I find the name "That Practical Mom" kind of alienating. I don't relate to it... I prefer "But First Coffee" way more.

I had a professional stager mention the fake outdoor plants, and I was skeptical too, but they've both come a long way AND we don't need to guilt people who either have other things to do or (like me) have a brown thumb even when they try. No shame, all joy with your hanging plants!

We have the IKEA day ged too and it works great for storing toys, etc in our daughters room and we love having it as an option for guests when needed too 👍👍
I love the realistic looking hanging plants. I decided to invest in self watering pots for hanging plants next summer. I have found that the small plants that I have in this system do quite well and I don’t have to water them as much. Hope this helps.
#7 Uproot 🎉 I have had it a year and must say it’s the most innovative product! I’ve renewed swearters, pillows, rugs…use sparingly on delicates but omg the lint is GONE
Alternative to the Uproot carpet cleaner…where my horse girls at? Use a shedding blade. 😂 dead serious, thought about buying an uproot, remembered I had a shedding blade, tried that and it worked 🤣 if you don’t want all your horse dust in your carpet then you can buy a cheap shedding blade dedicated to cleaning the carpet lol.
Love my Bissell Crosswave floor vac/mop, BUT! I had the cordless one and felt I was racing the clock so I could finish the floors before the battery pooped out. Yikes!! Gave it to my daughter and bought the (cheaper) corded one and now I can take my time. It’s a long cord so I’m coo with it. I admit the cleaning of the machine is a pain, but I’m an engineer and OCD so I big-deal it.
Just so you know, that’s quite a bit of water for wood floors. If they are indeed wood, you don’t want to put much water on them when cleaning. Good luck!

I love the oil mister. I use them for so much. I put dish soap in one and then I can spray just one thing or can pour for a sink of soapy water. I also use it for my dawn and vinegar solution in my shower.
Target has the blanket (#3) for $10 in a throw size, but limited colors! I just bought one a few days before seeing this, but I am tempted to by a twin size in a different color. 👀
I got rid of my wet dry mop after about a year. I found out that after cleaning out the dirty water container, cleaning the filter, and running the self clean for the roller, I could have vacuumed and mopped.
😂 I’m starting to feel that way about the mop too since I have it as well. Plus it doesn’t push out enough water cleaner solution in my opinion and that annoys me plus it doesn’t vacuum on certain rugs it will suck them up.
My husband is the Grounds Keeper for a large church and I told him what your husband said about your hanging plants and you know what he said?? He said - watering flowers is very time consuming and very tiring to water them properly so they survive. I love how your husband has high expectations when he is not the one that has to do the chore everyday! Geez!😑

I have to agree with the fake plants on the patio. My house faces south so I get the sun all stinking day. Real Plants on my front uncovered porch would be fried. Thats why I bought some fake pansies this spring. They look amazingly real from our sidewalk and I didn't spend a fortune on them. My hubby was kind against them at first and now he loves them. It's a win win.
I’ve always been a fan of silk plants. I brought home a geranium to put in a window box that was on a fence corner. When he saw it he said “another plant to kill huh honey?” Unfortunately his prediction came true and died. Since then it’s been 100% silk all the way!

All I had to do is remove them from the garage and place the planters, container and all, where they were last year. I got faux flowers that looked like Impatiens at Hobby Lobby. The still have them this year. Sure is less to do. No more buying dirt or flowers Arlene

Geez, your husband shouldn’t have a problem with artificial flowers. Maybe your husband would understand if he saw it from your point of view watching his three children and being pregnant with a fourth child🫤 Everything in life takes time out of your day and if you can find a solution that frees up even a little time it is worth it! Wanting your pregnant wife to water flowers everyday to keep them alive, and at the same time watch three small children is ridiculous expectation. It is a great solution to use artificial flowers outside! If your husband wants fresh flowers, that’s fine but he is on flower duty not his wife😑
