The late Adam West was the consummate professional. May God bless him for bringing joy to the children growing up in the 60's and 70's such as myself and brother. Thanks for being a part of our life
Adam appeared on channel 5 wrestling live that morning as a special guest for wrestling it was either in 79or 80 the reason he was in town was the old Custom Auto Show at the Cook Convention Center that weekend where he appeared in costume with the Batmobile exhibit. This guest appearance on TV 5 wrestling was just good public relations and everyone made a buck. RIP Adam and Jerry take care of his car!
@@dmenace4life And if you want to push it, Adam West did play Batman in a skit that featured Milton Berle as Superman, but that's not quite the same thing, is it? ;-)
OMG Maggle!!! Look its Lawler Maggle! What's he doing with his underwear on the outside Maggle??? Ha! Batman vs Lawler in a superhero no DQ match for the Dark Knight Utility Belt!!!! Book it Maggle!!!!
Adam West was possibly innebriated on this morning so he was not in command of his decision making in regards to the words he was saying. However, you are correct 100%.
Adam & Some Others Have Said Drunk as a Skunk from Being Out on Beale Street the Night Before (According to Jim Cornette, at Least) ... Lawler & Many Others Have Said a Little Under the Weather ... Depending on Who You Believe ...
The one guy who could have sold all this customary Memphis lunacy perfectly? Even better than Lance Russell? The late great Gordon Solie. He could keep a stone straight face (pun intended) in the presence of Roddy Piper, a guy who Feuded and later Teamed with Lonnie "Moondog" Mayne out on The West Coast. Their Vendetta was only renowned for swallowing live goldfish and sugared bottle glass before Roddy headed to The Southeast and comparatively slipped it into a low gear. This summit in Memphis would be Superhero Cake for Gordon Solie. Also anyone notice how Adam West sounded like a sleepy John Wayne throughout his Career?🤔😉🎤🐡🏴🦇🕴🤴🎼🎸🤼♂️B.W.

The greatest Batman of all time.
If only Dr Frank would have been on at the same time it would have been the greatest moment in any wrestling program
Rest in peace Adam West.
'I've heard about your 'box'' lol
Love it! If Adam West was a Pro Wrestler... Wow!
“If you used your left and right turn indicator in your car”
Apparently Adam forgot to take one of his Bat-Anti Allergy pills.. It sounds to me like he has a cold..
Or a nip of Bat Brandy
The original dawn of justice.
Not really; three years before this, Superman (Chuck Woolery) and Batman (an unidentified actor) appeared together on a Saturday Morning Preview show.
@@MaskedMan66 Oh yeah I remember that now.

Memphis wrestling was HUGE at this time. I think you vastly underestimate the popularity of this promotion.
