Exactly. Howard is forgetting about inflation. 4500 a week is 36K a week in 2022. And even back in 1994 that would be almost 20k a week when adjusted for inflation.

Batman was probably the coolest show I’ve ever seen. And the made for TV movies I think it was on ABC they were great as well. Got to see the bat speedboat, batcopter etc. Awesome.
If Adam was alive today. He would have been totally awed and shocked at The Batman. Awed because Robert Pattinson cowl look so much similar to Adam cowl. Shocked because how dark and serious The Batman is compared to his Batman show. Anyway, he is a Bright Knight in the long list of Dark knights. R.I.P Adam West.
Even in Frank Miller's "The Dark Knight Returns," one of the grittiest and darkest Batman stories; I still read Bruce Wayne's voice with Adam West's inflection and demeanor. He's just *too* damn iconic.
Adam called me while I was in the hospital in 1986 and a nurse answered the phone..She said "some guy says hes Batman should I hang up?" I said NONO IT IS BATMAN!!
I think he was referring more to the fact that nobody developing the Batman movie approached him at all. I’m sure he would have happily done a quick cameo if asked. Certainly would have boosted his profile since Batman 89 was such a big hit.
I find it funny the idea of Adam wearing the Batsuit in bed. Probably incase any monsters come by they will see him in the batsuit and know not to mess with him.
How silly is it for Howard to assume that it would look more elaborate and unsure if it is worth money? It was one of the biggest shows of the time for God's sake. Of course, the cowl was worth a lot of money.
