Great lead and FANTASTIC backing by the girls, especially Michelle singing higher than Denny. Cool.

John Phillips was a genius at arranging vocals. The team of him, Denney, Cass and Michelle were perfect for his arrangements and songs. There music will on I hope forever.

It sounded and looked like John didn't sing on this, I wonder why. It's still so amazing what just 3 voices could do, sound like many. So the whole group never needed any director, a fifth ear who coached them on their songs they knew their stuff so well they could just do it? It seems like John was the songwriter and in a way like their conductor too.

@@allkindsamusicchick Yes he certainly did turn out to be a fool. He cheated on Michelle as well. But as unfair as it seems that's just the way it was. It wasn't like Denny just forgot about it either. He had a hard time moving on from Michelle and pined for her for years. Cass was in love with Denny and that must have been very painful for her to watch. It was a very messed up situation.
