I bought these, yesterday. They sound GREAT. I use the wired setting for my PS4 Pro along with my Soundblaster X G6. I've been able to turn the volume up via G6 more than with my other headsets with no distortions or sibilance. Amazing. However, using the wireless setting, it seems the volume doesn't get very loud. Incredible reviews. I used to work in the gaming headset industry on the distribution side. Knew a lot of the big players very well, but fast forward to today and I don’t really see anyone really knocking it out of the park. I am intrigued by the Arctic Pros, but been reading about the quality issues with the plastic cracking. I would have preferred the Sennheiser, but would have been great if you could take the mic off, and have many of the features the Arctis has. Corsair has my interest but I have a big head and my Astro A40s and A50s back in the day hurt like hell. Best set up I ever had for PC gaming and Xbox was Sennheiser 450s with an Astro A40 Mix Amp. I’ll have to watch your reviews again on same three brands.

Really enjoy your style of reviewing. I'm torn between Arctis pro wireless and the gen4 Astro A50's. Each time I think I've made my mind up, I watch another review and I'm back to square 1. Haven't seen you review the A50, any chance of doing a comparison between the pro wireleas and A50?
I'm really glad you decided to come back and start doing videos again. You've upped your game...both in videos and your beard. Thanks for comparing these to hs70 as i have the hs70 but am thinking of getting virtuoso.
Update. I went out and bought the virtuoso. I gotta say, even though the sound was fantastic, the volume in gaming was too quiet. Same with the side tone. The bass was great in music and videos but lacked the impact needed for gaming. I decided these aren't for me. I'll stick with the hs70 for now.
I love this headset! But I had to buy some thicker better ear pads off Amazon for about $25-$30, it helped take a bit of the pressure off the top of my head as well as helped with isolating the sound inside the pads. Your reviews are always on point man. Any chance of reviewing the ATH-G1WL? I'm torn between Virtuoso and ATH-G1WL, and i'd like to hear your thoughts.
Hey Brian, Really like your videos and how they’re presented. Currently shopping for a new headset since my Razer Nari Ultimate side hinge broke... specifically looking at this Corsair Virtuoso SE, Sennheiser GSP 670 and Steelseriee Arctis Pro Wireless. I’m having a really hard time trying to decide which unit to get as none of them are available to me locally so I can’t go to see them in store. I love the fact that the Corsairs appear to have an all aluminum construction, which would immediately make them the most robust and highest quality IMO. That said, I’ve gotten used to and really like the chat mix/balance option on my Razer unit, and it’s disappointing that the Corsair unit doesn’t have this option. It seems like the GSP 670 has the best audio performance and a decent enough mic, but it’s hard to tell from pictures and videos just how durable or well built the frame is. I’m very careful with my things, but my Razer units hinge broke after just widening it one morning to put on my head... therefore I’m very concerned with build quality as I don’t want to pay $350 for a headset that might break in a few months like the Razer unit. The Arctis Pro Wireless seems like it has the best overall feature set, but just looking at the unit itself it seems as though there’s not a lot different in terms of build quality over an Arctis 7, or nothing in terms of materials to help justify the major price increase over the 7. I will say that to date, I’ve only ever used my headsets at home for gaming. I’ve never thought to nor even considered taking them outside of the house to use with a phone. That being said, my primary concern is getting a unit that has high build quality, followed by comfort, audio quality, features, etc. If you have any advice it would be greatly appreciated! Justin
I'm looking to get an amp/dac set to improve sound quality and I have virtuoso headset. Could you suggest a suitable option that would pair nicely? Or do I even need it? I'm an audio noon BTW 😊
So if I don’t care about looks and want the better mic the standard version is the better way to go huh? I might have to try these currently have Hyperx cloud flights and want to upgrade!
Hi, have u also tried the non se version of this headsets? I'm planning to buy that one but kinda unsure about its overall sound quality between its stereo mode and 7.1 surround sound mode. I'm more to gaming, listening to music, and watching videos/movies everyday, do you think I should go with this headsets (non se version)? Also, just like you said on your video and what I also heard from other people that the non se version's mic is way better that the se version. Hope you'l notice my comment and help to to decide about this headsets. Nice review btw man and keep it up. Thanks and God bless.
I know you already talked a lot about the comfort for big and small heads, but comfort is my main concern as of now. I got rid of my a40s; too heavy. Returned Arctis Pro Wireless; too tight. Using Logitech g pro x; too tight/too much noise cancelling. Do you think this is a sweet spot for comfort and overall not as tight on the head as some others?
hey, great review! this is the first video i saw from you and i really find it good. just a question though, if you are going for FPS games, which headset would you prefer? Corsair Virtuoso or the Arctis Pro Wireless? I have the arctis pro wireless now and i dont feel like i am getting what i paid for, so im planning to return it. although i am not sure as well if the audio quality of Corsair Virtuoso is actually better than the arctis pro wireless. can you give your suggestion? thanks! also, is the USB mode way better and noticeable compared to the wireless mode of the Virtuoso?
I have both and the virtuoso does not even come close to the arctic wireless pros. Although I really do like the virtuosos; it’s just I’m a sucker for wireless headsets. So the Arctis wireless pros do just that and much more.
Great Review! Would the Virtuoso gain better improved audio quality from connecting to a Dac/Amp using the 3.5mm jack or from the 24bit/96KHz audio from the USB cable? Sorry for the specific question. Thanks

I went for the SE as I preferred the finish but thats me being a tart haha
Love my CORSAIR, after endless problems with numerous pairs of @Razer Nari headphones - with Razer USBs forever going wrong - I’ve had many months perfect use of my @Corsair Virtuoso and love them.

My question is, I bought the virtuoso se and felt like something was lacking and I got a bunch of feed back saying to get the Sennheiser HD58x with an stand alone mic. You think I’ll be in a better place with the HD58’s vs these? Thanks!
my GSP 670 headset just cracked, because its made out of plastic, just ordered these and cant wait to get them. Have a feeling its going to be an upgrade for half the price. feelbad for not getting them in the first place.
if you click on the settings tab in the icue software you can turn the ai voice off or turn the volume down. your review was good but maybe you should explore your software to see if something can be done, instead of assuming it can't.
Do you have any ideas on this one? So I like almost everything about this headset but the “No Bluetooth” is the one thing that is making me think maybe it’s not for me. Is there anyway to get around that so I can still use this headset with lout using a 3.5 mil jack? Tell me every idea u have. Thanks.
What’s your fav all around wireless gaming headset... I have a pair of lucid sound ls40, I love them but the top piece of the head band is plastic and cracked plus the ear cushion inserts pulled out... the Corsair build looks like the lucid sound, but I’d like to focus on in game sound, mic, comfort and price. Have you checked out hyper x cloud flight or orbit by any chance?
I have to admit I'm also a sucker for looks and if I was looking at getting these, I'd probably pay the extra $30 for SE. Nice to see more headsets coming with a USB-C connector. If my HS70 SE wear out, the Virtuoso SE seem like a good replacement.
So it look like a competitor for the Arctis 7 more than one for the Arctis pro. If I’m torn between this headset and the Arctis 7. Which one is the best choice?
Just out of curiosity, 1. If I buy 2 of these will they intervene with each other? Could me and my partner both have them in use or will that cause problems :/ and 2. Will I be able to use this with a switch too? Thnx xx
Nice review, but SE have better look and non SE better mic ?? I'm french, I want yo be sure of it. Can we improve the mic of the SE in the software ? I realy realy love the SE look but if non SE have better mic... I have a HyperX Cloud and "PU leather" is ... crumble, sometimes I have little piece of "PU leather" on my ears from the headset.....
How does it compare to the G933s? Running a pair of Vmoda Crossfades at work, but the G933 at home. They’re super tight on my head and was potentially looking for another pair.
I used the normal Corsair Virtuoso RGB wireless and the earcups are really uncomfortable but i liked everything else about it does this SE version the same or are the earcups comfortable
Could you do a video like a desktop mic showdown or separate mics in general? Modmic, hyper x quadcast, blue yeti. Cons and pros like which picks up background noise like keyboard and mice but you still want good mic quality? Thanks
Should I buy a non SE or SE version ? I had seen many reviews that mention microphone in non SE is better than SE version. So, I still querying until now. I need help, guys.
I like mine, but they developed creaking in the right ear due to the swivels failing within two weeks of ownership. I also feel like the SE model falls short, with the mic not being as good as the regular model.
You can turn off the "Voice Prompts" in the Setting tab of the Corsair software. You click settings and then click on your peripheral of choice. Enjoy :D. I am using the non-se version.

You think I’ll be in a better place with the HD58’s vs these? Thanks!
Brian highly recommends the HD 58x but you should wait to hear from the man himself 👍🏽
That beard.... is just so... perfect.
Great review.
im torn between getting getting the Logitech G Pro X
or the Corsair Virtuoso SE
Gosh man, I think I might make a compilation of you just saying _let's go_ with the sick beat drops and b-roll. If that's okay of course
Sounds like you don't like this/ doesn't fit well. What do you recommend in this same price category?
Hey Brian. Which has the best comfort, these or the arctis wireless pro?
my GSP 670 headset just cracked, because its made out of plastic, just ordered these and cant wait to get them. Have a feeling its going to be an upgrade for half the price. feelbad for not getting them in the first place.
Your soundtracks stay on point
if you click on the settings tab in the icue software you can turn the ai voice off or turn the volume down. your review was good but maybe you should explore your software to see if something can be done, instead of assuming it can't.
Do you have any ideas on this one? So I like almost everything about this headset but the “No Bluetooth” is the one thing that is making me think maybe it’s not for me. Is there anyway to get around that so I can still use this headset with lout using a 3.5 mil jack? Tell me every idea u have. Thanks.
noice review. to the point. just ordered the standard edition. cheers
So close to 100k
I have to admit I'm also a sucker for looks and if I was looking at getting these, I'd probably pay the extra $30 for SE. Nice to see more headsets coming with a USB-C connector. If my HS70 SE wear out, the Virtuoso SE seem like a good replacement.
So it look like a competitor for the Arctis 7 more than one for the Arctis pro. If I’m torn between this headset and the Arctis 7. Which one is the best choice?
Just out of curiosity,
1. If I buy 2 of these will they intervene with each other? Could me and my partner both have them in use or will that cause problems :/ and
2. Will I be able to use this with a switch too?
Thnx xx
Hi there, super Video and super Pc case you have. What for case are you using?
Tnx greetings from Germany
BTW. Astro A 50 i like more than Corsair
Nice review! Good B roll too
wow what mic do you have (not the headset)? I'm looking to get something of that quality, wow!
I literally liked the video just for the awesome song/whatever it is, at the end of the video
Can we connect this headset with the Sennheiser GSX1000?
Great video. Subscribed to your channel!
What is the best wireless headset ? I tried the artic pro and didn’t like it ....
