    My Sheet Metal Bender Video: / ortsrrpzwk
    In this video I show you how I built my desk. A lot of Inspiration for that build came from the channel: / @philvandelay
    Video: • How to Build a Cable-F... Because I don't have a lot of space in my office, I had to build it very functionally. I have tried to remove all cables from the desktop.
    Each charger has its own place on the right side. But I should have made the cable duct a little larger. It's a bit small. I mount also LED lighting with a few LED strips.
    I also thought about making it height adjustable. But I don't sit often on the desk anyway, it wasn't that important to me. The drawer cabinets are from Ikea.
    The black panel on the back is an acoustic panel. Hope this will improve the sound quality. That's maybe also interesting for some people they like to build a Gaming desk. I'm planning something like voiceover video versions for the channel (members), leave me a comment if you're interested in something like that :)
    Now I have almost a complete office as a desk...workstation
    Now everything finally has a fixed place and I don't have to search for something all the time :)
    I'm glad that I've finally completed this welding project and I'm really only annoyed that I haven't built it longer.
    Greetings Dirk

    Nice build. As someone who's been following your channel for a while I have to say though, it was disappointing to see you choose not to give credit, considering most of these ideas came from my design. Especially for a creator on the same platform, I feel like a mention/link would have been appropriate.

    • @TheMetalist
      @TheMetalist  Год назад +1

      Thank you Phil 😁 No that's right of course I should have mentioned you. If that's okay with you, I'll put it in the video description. It is of course almost impossible to build anything that someone has not already built somewhere. But I also have to say that I should have watched your video in its entirety and not just been inspired by your thumbnail. Then I wouldn't have made the mistake of building a much too small cable duct. I also miss the strip with the socket and USB connections 😅

      @@TheMetalist Sure, being 100% original is unrealistic (and overrated) and I welcome people taking inspiration in general, otherwise why show things publicly in the first place right? Just if it's other RUclipsrs I think it's cool to support each other. So yeah adding it in the description would be appreciated 👍
