You should really consider using the tool before doing a video on the coolest dustbox because it is complete garbage. it does not stay shut and will leave your whole workspace full of dust when you turn it on. I've talked with Milwaukee about this it is a known problem since it came out years ago and they told me to tape it shut. The VAC attachment works great but if you wanted it to be connected you might as well use a corded one with more power.
Thx for the info, I have used it, not very much however. I tend to go for my dewalt or festool. I didn’t notice any issues with my sander when I was using it, but I’m sure it will present it self if I used it more. Thanks for sharing
Handyman here. I've had the M18 RO sander for a long time and the box does indeed come off. Pain in the butt. It's amazing to me that multi-billion dollar companies will still output such nonsense. Have real tradesmen test them over time before putting them in store shelves!
How do you get the black adapater for the hose off the machine I cannot get it off to use the dust collector and what speed do you set it at for sanding plywood to be stained.
You might, I was trying to hook it up and it really isn’t designed to fit onto the tool. You can force in on, but it’s definitely not great. I don’t have the accessory kit yet , maybe there is an adapter in it. Let me know if you pick it up
I have a Ridgid, DeWalt corded sander and the vibration is crazy so just got a 3M Xtract night and day. If you recommend the Milwaukee cordless sander I will get it.
@@hammerandhome you really should try the 3M Xtract and do a video on it, you will be super surprised when you compare it to the Festool from price to performance
@@rickyperkins232 both dewalt and Milwaukee are great. But they both have vibrations. One tool that has less vibration is the new m12 detail sander ruclips.net/user/shortsZMJy4x-j0Nk?feature=share
Mate how long does the HEPA filter last ? I have cleaned mine a few times after maybe 10 hours of use but maybe it’s time to replace it ? Doesn’t seem to catch as much dust as it used to when was new ? I love mine !! Thanks for video mate
Definitely, it’s a great sander, especially if you’re already on the platform. I prefer the dewalt, but I’m on every platform so it’s just personal preference for me.
I can't believe you explained it so well in 3 mins.
Thanks, I do tend to drag on sometimes lol.

Why should’ve used a bag. The plastic canister is a dumb design

Used it to sand drywall and man dust flies all out of the little filter . Aside that works well.
What's the best way to hook this up to the newest packout vac? Do I need the Milwaukee Hose and Accessory Adapter Kit?

Did you find anything out about this? Thanks
I think you need some more Milwaukee battery tools I can still see some other colors in the background other than red and yellow.
lol

I like the Milwaukee but I like the cordless dewalt more I think. But the best sander I have used for low vibration is the corded festool.

Honestly I’m not sure how long it lasts. I do the same with mine, just blow it out or give it a good vacuum, should last a long time I would think
Love the review! Clear and to the point! Btw want to ask what is the brand of the protective clothing you are wearing?
Thanks! Carhartts these ones: amzn.to/3D4IX8P
Is there a way to convert this to 6”?
Not that I’m aware of. I highly doubt that it can.
It comes with a free battery if it's on sale.
Nice! I haven’t seen that deal, thx
@@hammerandhome They have the free battery with "tool only" deal at home depot last night. Probably still there.
So is it worth buying?

Thank you
I just got my tool, the numbness turns me on
Probably a good site to look at tools. But a woodworking video site or a makers site - No. So I had to leave you.
No worries, thanks for watching, we will be doing more renovations and tips this coming year. Cheers
Not sure what you said, but bye! LOL!
