Thank you! I couldn't find the size of the vacuum attachment anywhere! Now I know what size hose I need for my new Milwaukee random oribital sander! Yeah baby! Yeah!
I used a duct tape the other day to adapt to my corded Ridgid but I had enough of dragging and tangling of hose and cord so I'm picking up later today a milwaukee sander not a brushless I wanted but it'll do. Thanks for the great video Vinny
I ended up getting the Rigid 1-1/4 in. Premium car cleaning. Came with a 10 foot hose and a bunch of stuff that attatch to the Packout Vac beautifully.
Love Philly and Independence Hall. Thanks for the vid. I'm using a Dewalt vac, and stupidly wasn't using the dust collection bags - I've learned my lesson there. I've since been using more and more Milwaukee tools, so getting a good fit is a bit of a challenge. I'm not in love with the adapters that Dewalt sells to attach their own handheld sanders, and it was nearly impossible to get a generic dust extration setup to fit the Dewalt vacuum; I found a way, but it was so cumbersome that I ultimately caved and bought the Dewalt dust extration rig. The Milwaulkee backback is the way to go, apart from having a dedicated dust extraction system in a shop.
I disagree completely! I had my tool trailer stolen and replaced all my Dewalt tools with new Milwaukee tools and my biggest disapointment is with the big blocky orbital sander and the crappy way to attach it to a vacuum. The reason I prefer the Dewalt is because they have a vacuum attachment THAT ROTATES!!!!!!!!!!!!! Milwuakee please make a vacuum attachment that rotates freely while using it!
Which one has better dust collection Milwaukee or Dewalt orbital sander? Because I'm looking for one to get and I like both of them but I hurd that Milwaukee are failing when it's getting to much dust in the system.
Thanks for the video I just bought this sander and was bummed it didn’t work with my wet/dry vacuum. To be honest the backpack vac makes the most sense anyway, especially if you are on a ladder or something. +1 Subscriber
Along the same lines. Have you used the vacuum attachment for the sds drills? I've tried the one where you have to have a shop vac, but haven't gotten a chance to try the one that has a built in vacuum.
Great job on video. Appreciate the info. In my opinion rigid is the best wet dry vac on the market. We have several I never had one problem out of them that being said is the only brandthat I have not had problems from . Eventually all the other brands will smoke the motor if used in harsh jobsite environments, and or always using it for large amounts of wet pickup.
@@VCGConstruction I have to show you this though I have not tried any cordless vacuum offerings from any company. Well actually it's not true we have Milwaukee M12 dustbuster. But I don't consider that as a jobsite worthy vac anyway. Although I can't lie, it has been pulled out a time or two on jobs LOL.
Hi Vince! I think I may have made a great discovery today with the hose adapter. It seems that there is another reduction in size, further in the small opening. I was able to get my 1 1/4” rigid car cleaning hose to grab firmly by pushing it further in the small opening of the sanders port. Thanks for all u do !
I recently had my tool trailer stolen and replaced my Dewalt tools with all new Milwaukee tools and have been COMPLETELY DISAPOINTED! My Fuel Hackzall locked up after just a couple months and the orbital sander is just big and square and blocky as hell compared to the Dewalt and the Dewalt had a MUCH BETTER vacuum attachment because it actually rotates freely where it attaches to the sander which allows the hose to pivot while your sanding. Come on Milwaukee you can do better. I'm $2500 in on new Milwaukee and struggling with the fact that I'm thinking about starting all over again and going back to Dewalt. NOT A FAN OF MILWUAKEE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks Honda we appreciate it!!

Long time ago, used an adapter to convert a Home Depot 5 gal bucket to wet vac. Worked great.

Great job…. Very helpful
Yes! I have wanted to learn more about this. Thanks Man. Big shout out on the 40K!!!
I use my Milwaukee sander through a ridgid vac too, works great
Awesome cuz!

That vac is sweet! That vac would make vacuuming my hoise so much easier. 40k baby!!!!!!! VCG4LIFE!!
I’m liking the backpack vac if I did residential HVAC I would have one by now but I’m in industrial so I’m stuck with the old ridgid great vid Vince

A Milwaukee rep came to my store and shown the 3-1 backpack. It really is one hell of a vacuum.
Yeah I like it buddy!!
I got a $40 VacMaster wet/dry vacuum. Fits perfectly on the Milwaukee, works amazingly well.
so does the 3.5 gal Ridgid
Along the same lines. Have you used the vacuum attachment for the sds drills? I've tried the one where you have to have a shop vac, but haven't gotten a chance to try the one that has a built in vacuum.
I bought a fairly cheap Ridgid vacuum adapter kit for my sander and saws.
Good move Jason!

Can you do a video on the best corded orbital sander on the market?
Wearing the backpack while using the sander is legit, lol.
🤣🤣🤣
Vince,
Will the shop vac work on the DeWalt 20v orbital sander that you showed on one of your videos? Or does it need an adapter?
100k subs before the end of the year calling it now
Vince will the same stuff work on the Ridgid orbital sander I would like to know you take care of your friends and family get your next one
I haven’t seen the Ridgid yet, remind me next time I do a wAlk through!!
It does work with the small vac. I Have both, just push harder!
Yea but it pops out easily if you try and stretch the hose it all. I’m trying to find a solution to secure it better.
Great Video! Thank you 🔥👏💪🫶
Glad you liked it!
Has anybody ever seen an adapter for a 5" milwaukee angle grinder converting the grinder into an orbital sander or polisher...it worked great.
Milwaukee does make an adapter for the briefcase style vacs to work with the dust ports on the tools now.
It’s called Vacuum Power Tool Adapter
Thank u ,,, been wondering about a adapter.. I have the standard milwaukee brief case vac.. now I can hook up my sander to it
Milwaukee uses weird sizes for thier vacs, the adapters are for normal shop vac hoses
I just used the ridged vac today 😋
Duct tape is your friend, especially if you use a drywall sander and dust vacuum.
Hey, don't diss. duct tape. We use it in biotech & pharmaceutical industries. Works 100%. Not a long term solution though.

Thanks for all u do !
Are you need to do is wrap a few layers of grip tape or gaffers tape around the pipe and it’ll fit right in real nice
Anyone know if this will fit on a festool ct midi hose?
First like AND comment
i have found the best solution for dust is "dont make any" lol thanks for the vid
🤣🤣
Why wouldn't you build the vacuum adaptor to fit your own damn vacuum wtf
Then u might as well stay with a corded, same thing!
wow
Second
see half of them wont attach my god !!!
I can’t believe I wasted my time listening to you
