- We had high hopes for La Bufadora, but unfortunately, the famous marine geyser was a disappointment during our visit. Still, we had a great time exploring Ensenada and discovering its many other attractions, including a visit to Hussong's bar, some amazing local cuisine, and a stroll down the souvenir-filled streets. Come with us on our Ensenada adventure!

I have a place near La Bufadora like a minute away with great ocean view. Not every day there is fog.
Yes, we were just a little unlucky that it was so foggy that day, but that means we will have to return one day to see it in the sun :-) We sure loved those ocean views from the cliffs.
Taking a forced break from boondocking. I am staying at a campground just down the road where you were near La Bufadora. I say you get bonus points for getting there when it was quiet with no tourist buses and touts.
That happened by complete luck. High tide was at 7:30am and apparently nobody else wants to be there that early 😅 Hope you saw more splashing at la Bufadora than us!
