Yes. The Batman theme was previewed alongside the costume over two years before the movie came out. Also composed by Michael Giacchino. Definitely a pattern here.
Micheal Giacchino is the best having blessed up with MCU theme, Spider-Man theme, Doctor Strange theme, Werewolf by Night, and now The Fantastic Four theme!!!!
Here's a fun (sorta off topic) fact for you: Michael Giacchino is one of the three composers who made music for Spider-Man and Batman (the other two are Danny Elfman and Hanz Simmer)
Sounds great. Love the story it tells. From the "First Steps" into the unknown of Space to the frightening things they encounter to the rise of them as heroes.
The theme seems joyous and optimistic and is already conjuring images in my head about the movie. Thanks for posting this, I'm honestly obsessed with this now. I hope they release it on Spotify!
Michael Giacchino came out at the end asking everyone to please stay 4 more minutes to enjoy this. It was funny to watch him asking the LA crowd to not leave early.
I know that in 2022 and 2023 Marvel had some wonky years but I do really feel like Brave New World, Thunderbolts and the Fantastic Four are all gonna be solid movies. I wonder how they're gonna set up Doctor Doom in this F4 alternate reality
@@hiphipjorge5755 I wouldnt give high hopes for Brave New World and Thunderbolts. Why? Well Brave New World had more than one reshoot and I doubt the story will be any good. Thunderbolts seems like another Marvel joke movie where every characters is becoming dumber for the sake of crappy humor.
I had heard the recording from Michael Giachinno;s panel in D-23, but this live performance was phenomenal. I think this movie just might bring tears of joy to my eyes. Thanks for sharing, John.
Great appearance by Michael Giacchino, the writer of INSIDE OUTs iconic themes; on the day that Inside Out 2 passed 2019 Lion King for Highest Grossing Animated Film of All Time!!
I was there! I didn't catch you it was just a flood of people when we exited, but wow what a spectacular show they put on, it was incredible! and so immersive!
They hire different composers for different projects. Michael Giacchino on this one. He's worked for and around Marvel before (including as a director on Werewolf By Night), but he also did The Batman and a lot of other stuff.
Michael Giacchino is my favourite composer of all time. He composed Up, The Batman, The Incredibles, Inside Out, all the MCU Spider-Mans, Doctor Strange, Planet of the Apes trilogy and more
At this point I think they just need to cast Wesley Snipes and make it right before Doomsday, then after they reboot they can cast someone else. It would just be dumb to do it any other way now that Blade made his presence known in Deadpool & Wolverine
Sounds perfect! The mystery, the wonder, the underlying danger, also exploration, curiosity, whimsicality, so many things a good composer can convey fantastically (no pun intended...or is it?) 😎
Just getting the feeling of the 60’s I think it’s going to be good this fantastic four movie I do think Kevin has massively thought this through and wanted marvel to take their time especially with casting and stuff like that
I'm gonna get goosebumps in the theater when the film comes out finally being able to hear it in context. Besides the Avengers theme, the MCU doesn't have many iconic themes like older comic book movies, so I'm glad we are getting back to that era where the score isn't an afterthought but is integral to the essence of the film (i.e. The Batman theme)
The new _Fantastic Four_ theme goes clobbering to the beat with the orchestration and the choir flames on with passion. The MCU brings a whole new action 4 the fantastic adventure.
The theme is going to have to grow on me, and seeing it applied to the film will help. It's not Williams, Horner, Hermann , Barry , or Goldsmith, but it's got some promise. I think that Michael Giacchino is the composer, so he's the best composer (behind Hans Zimmer) for the job. Can't wait to hear more! 😊
1:24 It sounds very eerie, like some cosmic horror. In fact, this whole theme has a cosmic wonder quality to it. It's also somewhat reminiscent of thee 2005 theme, which was awesome and underrated.
I can feel where they are trying to take us with this. Very epic. Very adventurous. Very nostalgic, explorative, and imaginative. I can't wait to see this play out against the plot of the movie. Can we get commentary either tonight or Monday, John?
When they told the audience to stay until the end, I honestly didn't know what to expect. I thought it would be something about Dr. Doom, but I accept this.
Even if this movie is good enough itll work because the rest of the fantastic 4 movies don't set a huge precedent or competition. Hope this fantastic 4 movie revives the franchise like X-Men first class did for the X-Men
This definitely has a World's Fair, House of Tomorrow meets space adventure vibe and i dig it. Its like if Star Trek starred The Venture Bros and im here for it
Has any studio ever hyped a theme to a movie a year in advance before? They must be real confident (and rightfully so cause the theme is perfect).
Yes. The Batman theme was previewed alongside the costume over two years before the movie came out. Also composed by Michael Giacchino. Definitely a pattern here.
Giacchino is one of greats! 🙌🏾
Nolan does that a lot. Especially Interstellar.
Spider-Man 2 game literally did the same thing at the exact same place before the game came out. Its not a big deal.
Indiana Jones 5 put out Helena's theme like a year before.
Optimistic and ominous at same time , a very good theme for fantastic 4.
Very well stated!
If the movie is half as good as this theme song, Marvel will have a huge hit on thier hands.
if it is the crazy leak plot than yeah it will be a hit and bro galactus is the main villian you cant get crazier than that
The theme has me REALLY INTERESTED in the movie now. I’m officially going now. 👍
@@urzamishraMichael Giacchino does that to you.
Depends since they'll be competing with the DCUs superman movie
Definitely not going to say that
Love how they are giving a lot of attention to this, its great.

This is what wonder sounds like. Reminds me of the soundscapes you would hear on Spielberg & John Williams joints.
I immediately thought "Close Encounters of the Third Kind" when I heard the beginning! Just that same atmospheric type feel.
Sounds fantastic
I see what you did there😂
Say that again.
Wait A sec...... say that again.
Hold on...say that again, will ya?
i understood that reference
Michael Giacchino with another banger!!
Sounds great. Love the story it tells.
From the "First Steps" into the unknown of Space to the frightening things they encounter to the rise of them as heroes.
So far it looks like they're putting a lot of care into this one. Hoping it ends up being great!
The score sounds like a character journey. Each beat feels like a first step and it just goes to the next step in the journey.
Raghu I’ve seen your comments for 12 years
@@khanmimaad I have seen your comments for 12 years as well.
@@Brook11223 Not quite but close enough
It sounds great. It definitely gets the feel of a sixties sci-fi space program film right.
The theme seems joyous and optimistic and is already conjuring images in my head about the movie. Thanks for posting this, I'm honestly obsessed with this now. I hope they release it on Spotify!
It really does have that retro futuristic vibe to it.
I was there Friday and I was shocked how awesome this event was. It was a true MCU celebration with everyone there, it was genuinely emotional lol.
This song not only sets a tone for the movie, but gives the space exploration vibes, gives 60s vibes, and is amazing all in one. Thats talent
It feels a bit like kerbal space Programm soundtrack so yes youre right
Michael Giacchino came out at the end asking everyone to please stay 4 more minutes to enjoy this. It was funny to watch him asking the LA crowd to not leave early.
I am the guy with his grandma in the blue at the end! Such a fun night
I like the choir added "Fantastic" near the end. quite unique
Giacchino never disappoints. 👏🏼🙌🏼
Just left the concert was NOT expecting them drop a bomb like this
I really wasn’t expecting this to be that good. Wow, I’m actually in disbelief right now.
I know that in 2022 and 2023 Marvel had some wonky years but I do really feel like Brave New World, Thunderbolts and the Fantastic Four are all gonna be solid movies. I wonder how they're gonna set up Doctor Doom in this F4 alternate reality

Finally a score for a Marvel film that’s not instantly forgettable and you can walk out of the cinema humming like the golden scores of old
I love this theme, it sounds mysterious, hopeful yet suspensful. Can't wait for the 1st family to get a good movie (fingers crossed)!
Sounds like something that would play around Tomorrowland at Disneyland. Fun fact Giacchino created the Space Mountain theme.
3:13 the operatic Fantastic Four sounds so good!!
This is gonna be such a great movie
It deserves to be. One can hope. Giacchino is clearly bringing it, at least.
Love it! Can't wait for what F4 has in store for us!!!
Michael Giacchino never misses! Another banger!
Thank you John for sharing this

They need to get it right this time, because this will be attempt number five.
Eat your heart out, Josh Trank
What a time to be alive, What a very historical decade
Sounds beautiful. I’m already ready to add this to my playlists.

I didn't catch you it was just a flood of people when we exited, but wow what a spectacular show they put on, it was incredible! and so immersive!

Ludwig Göransonn is very good. He did Black Panther Oppenheimer.

this answer the question as to why we are still waiting for a new Blade movie. they have yet to make a Blade Theme for it to start filming. :)
At this point I think they just need to cast Wesley Snipes and make it right before Doomsday, then after they reboot they can cast someone else. It would just be dumb to do it any other way now that Blade made his presence known in Deadpool & Wolverine
HUGE HYPE FOR THIS MOVIE BECASUE A TRUE GALACTUS IS GOING TO APPEAR AND I AM WAITING FOR THIS FOR SO MANY YEARS

To quote Deadpool “This just feels right!”
The Cavillerine “You were just leaving”
The Wolverine” Let’s Fucking Go”
It works perfectly as a retro-futuristic theme the movie is leaning into.
Ugh I cannot wait. I love everything about this film so far. Love to see Marvel bouncing back.
Man... I love this so much... :P
Goosebumps and tears. Please be great 🙌

Giving off Danny Elfman vibes ngl

Went to the Saturday showing. It was amazing!

No, thank you!
That feelinng of the Endgame theme
That’s one of the best themes that they have done you can feel it soar as The team come together to battle the villain / villains
So amazing ❤
Ohhhhh my Gooooooodddddd!!!! It sounds like those vintage science-fiction film opening titles!!! Very reminiscent of "Fantastic Voyage"!

At first I thought to myself....The lorax..no wait myabe tis the season then I fell in love with it. Definitley matches the theme. Love it.
This magnificent score adds to continuing momentum of this being Marvel’s next BIG hit and chance to join the billion dollar club
