I think you can avail their service provider to scan & upload your documents with a separate fees..It will be done during your biometric appointment. Please correct me if i'm wrong.

Hello. Yes that’s right. On my list of documents to submit, they didn’t ask for proof of those employment. I assume they could contact those employers through the details i’ve provided if they would want to validate it.

Hi, do all scanned copies need to be grey scale or black and white? The website has mentioned to keep it lower than 6MB and not colour. However i realised that scanned black and white referee forms aren’t clear enough. All my coloured scanned copies are lower than 6MB. Will it be a problem?
Hello. I think the grey scale or black and white are only suggestions to ensure the file is lower than 6MB. You can still submit coloured copies as long as file size is lower than 6MB.

This is much more complicated for European people who don't have stamps in their passport. The evidence of 5 years stay is the hardest bit, all the rest is easy. By the way, did you get the birth certificate translated into English?

Hello. If they have given you a certificate for the 1 year you took, you need to check if it is considered as a degree. I checked the Gov.uk website and this is what is says about degree certificate: www.gov.uk/english-language/degrees-in-english If your degree was taught or researched in English You can prove your knowledge of English by having a degree that was taught or researched in English. Your degree must be academic. You cannot use a vocational degree as proof. If you’re not sure whether your degree is academic or vocational, contact your university.

Hello. No you don’t have to send the original passport, just the scanned copy. Either you scan it yourself or you pay for scanning it during your biometric appointment. Hope this helps.

Hello. In my case I submitted my passports including the one I used in entering the UK. Some people also submitted P60 and letter from HMRC to show that you’ve been working here in the UK in the last 5 years. For my case, I only used my passports because it shows departure and arrival stamps.

Hello. I only attached my passport when i entered the uk and also my most recent passport and my BRP card. It was enough for my case because it shows all the times i have been out of the uk (which was not a lot). Some people submitted a letter from HMRC showing their employment history etc. You might want to include that if you have it. As well as P60 and employment letter.

Hello. Yes they are the same. If there are any problem with the photo format I think the site will not accept it, so I think your photo is ok.

@TheWooloffs If my overseas passport expires and I am still in the UK and have ILR and am eligible for applying for citizenship, can I just stay in the UK and apply for citizenship and passport with the expired overseas passport that I used to enter the UK.

Do you know how it works if you have documentation in a foreign language? i.e. my wedding certificate or the birth certificate of my son who was born outside the UK? Do you need to ask for a translation service at the point of BRP collection or what? Thanks

Hello. In my case I submitted my passports including the one I used in entering the UK. Some people also submitted P60 and letter from HMRC to show that you’ve been working here in the UK in the last 5 years. For my case, I only used my passports because it shows departure and arrival stamps.

Hello. I only attached my passport when i entered the uk and also my most recent passport and my BRP card. It was enough for my case because it shows all the times i have been out of the uk (which was not a lot). Some people submitted a letter from HMRC showing their employment history etc. You might want to include that if you have it. As well as P60 and employment letter.

Hello. I didn’t submit any P60 during my application. It didn’t ask me to prove my employment history. But for proof of residence in the uk, I used my passports and BRP card.

I think it’s because of the file size that’s why they suggested black and white or grayscale. My documents didn’t exceed the 6MB so I went for it.
