Hi Nanelle regarding the letter of consent, the preform is supposed to be attached already at the end of your application (by H.O) as soon as you paid the application and all what you have to do is to download, fill and sign both of you.

If it is through marriage you can apply immediately after indefinite leave to remain.

Yes but if your spouse was British before you got married then you can apply straight after ilr because spouse was British before you got married....however if your spouse was not British before you got married then you have to wait 12months after your ilr.

Let assume am the UK on a skilled worker visa, which means after 5 years, I qualify to apply for ILR....
THEN After my third year of being in the country on the skilled worker visa, I bring my wife and kids as dependents... By my 5th year, when I qualify for ILR, the kids would have been living in the UK for 2 years...
Now my question is; when I get the ILR status, can i apply for ILR and after citizenship for them even though they are just lived 2 years in the country??
For my wife I know she has to go through the 5-year pathway.
My concern is the kids; is their eligibility for ILR AS KIDS BORN OUTSIDE THE UK TO A PARENT WHO HAS JUST ACHIEVED ILR NOT TIED TO A CONDITION TO BE LIVING IN THE UK FOR A CERTAIN NUMBER OF YEARS??
Or they can be born outside the UK and arrive in the UK 6 months before a parent achieves ILR and immediately makes them eligible for ILR and then citizenship??
