This is still the best game I've ever played.
I remember that it was 18+, and when my mother asked the girl from the store why's that, the girl said that it was probably because it had fights on it.
I'm everly thankul for your innocence, girl from the store.
Lol
neither she or your mum noticed the glass of beer on the box?

That's not a definition that really exists. "Based" just means where something is situated.

So... There I am. King. King of aaall the land.., Who woulda thought that... hmh... not me. I guess you know who these guys are now... cos I certainly do... I didn't want to know them. And yep. I may be King. And have aaall the money in the world... and all the land... and all that stuff. But y'know... I don't... really think I want it. I just wanna go home... with Berri... and... I'unno. It's not gonna happen... It's true what they say. The grass is always greener.
And you don't... really know what it is you have... until it's gone..
gone...
gone.
So many emotions... you know... I'm ok with this being Rareware's last title. It really was one of the best endings we could've had, to say bye to such a perfect company.
+SenecystRemarks I think that the last Rare game for Nintendo was actually Star Fox Adventures. However, Conker was the last one for the N64, the console in wich Rare lived it's golden age so maybe in a way you're right.
Ey, fun fact: The opening scene is actually a reference to ClockWork Orange
Conker's Bad Fur Day has many references, but not many people know bout' that one....Heck - I didn't know!
the song at the start is a "remade" version of the March part of "funeral of/for queen mary " by Purcell ! Which is in the clockwork orange I think.
I remember when I first finished the game, that ending after all you go through and knowing he gained so much but also lost a lot, made me kinda sad, and that ambient music with the rain.. man it got stuck in my mind. Definitely a great game.
Saddening listening to that. Knowing he has everything but lost the things he loved.
As many say, "money dosnt bring anyone happiness" well... in conkers case, its real....
Soundtrack will forever remind me of my good friend Stanley Makahnouk, whom I had the immense pleasure of knowing for 23 of my 28 years of life. He tragically died last year. Goodbye, Stanlee. Thank you for the passion of gaming you instilled in me.
"It all started.. yesterday. And what a day that was."

Thank you so much for posting this! What an incredible game, I cannot believe the N64 was capable of handling it. The multiplayer options were mind-blowing (and still are)! What I would do to play this on a modern console...
One of my favourite gaming experiences of all time thanks to a solid core control scheme, an awesome sense of wonder and variety in the gameplay, tons of unique scenarios through the parodies and toilet humour, a magnificent soundtrack, the best graphics and animations on the N64 and one of the most entertaining stories in a game.
It still beguiles me, even after all these years, that ONE MAN. ONE. SINGLE. MALE. Was responsible for roughly 85% of the entire in-game voice-acting. 8D There were three VO-actors total... but man, ol' Chrissy-poo really knocked it out of the park. :D
Chris Seavor = Rareware ANGEL
That is AMAZING! I always thought that the voice acting was one of the strong points of this game, but the fact that most of it was acted by a single guy makes it all the more f*cking amazing!
It was his vision, after all.
chrissy poo
Chris Seavor also co-wrote the screenplay alongside Robin Beanland who composed the soundtrack.
Yes and the voice acting was one of the better parts of the game, unlike the gameplay
This is my favorite game of all time. And damn, that ending credits song, it really hits ya. I don't think anyone saw that ending coming.
I was only 5 years old when I played this game. Great parenting!
My favorite soundtrack in a video game.
Damn that Caveman beat is just killing it right now.
I just realized that this game's intro is a direct (and rather mature) reference to the opening of Kubrick's A Clockwork Orange, complete with the funeral march for Queen Mary.
Same here, noticed recently - These easter eggs are literally thrown at you, but due to the unpopularity of many of these decade+ old movies, people don't notice these easter eggs.
I grew up on this game and recently I revisited it and surprisingly beat it in 6½ hours beating my old record of 45 hours
Lol
I love the... "It's a long story "...."it all started .. yesterday."
Aaahhh... Cuantos recuerdos de mi infancia! De los mejores juegos que existen!

So many references to A clockwork orange!

Thank you very much!!!Fantastic OST!!!
This game had such a depressing ending.
another reference, to the disappointing ending of Neon Genesis Evangelion(1995-1996)
He said "depressing" not disappointing. Conker's BFD has a dark theme... like feeling alone.. empy handed.. you fought and nos everything is gone.....GONE
It was intended to have an even MORE Depressing ending where it's implyed conker shoot's himself
however they scraped that for a sequal they had planned
WHICH WAS LATER CANCELED THANK YOU FOR THAT MICROSOFT
I mean, more depressing doesn't necessarily mean better. I liked the idea of Conker having to live with the consequences of his own selfishness. Him shooting himself would have been jarring.
it was a joke
Ohhh the feels at the end!! ;(
Always makes me sad!!

Biggest of thanks for uploading this =) I´ve been looking around for the whole Conker's Bad Fur Day soundtrack, for quite some time now. Cheers!
THANK YOU!
i played this game when i was 5 years old. although i am 12 right now. my brothers were alive when his game was released. so one of my brothers friends had this game and gave it to my brothers. my brother ( his name was jessi) he scratched the M rating on the cartridge. they played this game and then stopped when i was born. when i realized that brothers had a nintendo 64 i started to play mario 64, mario kart 64, and super smash bros. then jessi found this game and gave it to me. i played and my mom saw the gameplay (well i was playing multiplayer with my sister who loved the game) she was like "why are my kids playing this game" turns out my mom never found out about the game when my brothers (paco or fransico and jessi) got it. so everytime my mom would get mad at me for playing it and would always say "eso jeugo es tan moy violento. (translated: that game is too violent for you.) but i still played it. sometimes i would play with my brother "who knew alot about the game" but i never played it with my other brother because he died before i turned 7 which was in september 25 2015 when paco died and when he was alive i was a shy ass motherfucker so yea, thats how i know this game and other games that older than me like half life, doom, tf2, and conkers bad fur day. i was the only one in kindergarten who knew everything about this game. today i am 12 and i am in 6th grade and yet people still don't know this majestic piece of work. and also heist my favorite music in the ost.
What a wonderful soundtrack!!! ^_^
One of the best game ever created in history!
This soundtrack really takes me back...
This entire soundtrack is legendary. But the "Bats" song is probably one of the greatest video game songs I have ever heard.
20:40 The best sountrack ever!!!!
This game demented me at 9.
The BEST OST Evernote
This whole game is drunk, the character, the music... Everything!
The ending was so sad.....Conker became King. He had all the money, land, and power he could ever ask for, and yet he still doesn't want it. All he ever wanted was just to go back home with Berri. He never wanted any of this to happen, he never wanted to become King, he never wanted to make all of these new friends or even go on this adventure. All he wanted to do was just go to the pub and have a drink with his friends, that's it. He lost someone close to him, and now he'll never get her back....
As an interesting fact for those of you who don't know yet, the developers originally had Conker commit suicide at the end of the game, after becoming King. The reason is obvious: He lost Berri, his girlfriend and possibly the one person closer to him than anybody else in his life, and really the only person he truly loved and cared for. It's implied this may have made him depressed and lonely, so he committed suicide.
I've beated the game already, right in the feels man...
Carlos BRGamer *SPOILER FOR THOSE WHO WANT TO PLAY CONKERS BAD FUR DAY*
Another thing, conker even tried to ask the programmers, after the game broke, to revive berri... they didnt...
I think they just already left their desk after putting Conker in the throne room and killing the alien with a katana. So like, the programmer was AFK (FOURTH WALL BREAKING!)
***** Well Technicly he remembered it to late, By the time he was going to ask the programmer had already left
"Friends"
DONT MESS WITH CONKER
Unforgettable game and soundtrack and this will always be my favorite N64 game of all time. I believe Conker is Rare's best character and the ending to Conker's Bad Fur Day almost represents RareWare and their move to Microsoft. In the words of Conker, "You don't really know what it is that you have till it's gone"
A look back on that would you say that those words are now directed toward Rare and the partnership they once had? Nothing notable since that move
Best Game Ever
When "Undead" came on I just instinctively starting making the groaning noises
That's the most terrifying undead music I've ever heard.
Poo, it is a musical masterpiece
Fartissimo!
You gotta love how cherry most of the soundtrack is for such a Mature game
Love that part where it plays when we have to kill zombies!!!
The laughter made me scared when I played at night with all the lights out and my family was asleep!!

this game is so crazy but so good
oh man i miss this game so much fun and so controversial :) all the movie refrences the British undertones all great
One of the best games ever made. Great memories with cousins playing multiplayer till 2am
Exelente video
This game is amazing! Love it!
38:27 Jin's Theme (Tekken 3)
YO WHAT THE FUCK YOU RIGHT
Omg why? Thats right
Now that makes me wonder how Rare did not get lawsuits from Namco?
It's probably taken from a sample library from the mid-'90s of guitar riffs. Video game composers use these things all the time.
Brings back memories. Speaking of which, I'm gonna play now!
So much nostalgia here
Conker.... stares.... INTO YOUR SOUL
This game is a masterpiece. My #1 game of all time.
The first map ost I love, its so whimsical & fancy sounding.
I just wanna go home... With Berri, and I dunno, have a bottle of beer... hm *sigh* Is not gonna happen... This breaks my heart :(
Also ''Bats'' is such a great peace OMG, would love to hear that in a concert
latiaos11 Something I wondered was why didn't he ask the developer to restore berri, I realize killing the weird ass zenomorph was priority #1 but that shouldn't have slipped his mind that quickly.
Talibanana In fact, few seconds after the developers dissapeared he actually thought of restoring Berri, but it was too late

Conker the King (reprise) is a sad, sad theme
well done
Conker the King always reminds me of A Clockwork Orange.
That's because it is a parody of A Clockwork Orange!
the whole game is one big parody.
It's actual several different parodies, but i don't mean to split hairs
It is actually the exact theme from A Clockwork Orange lol
This game, the legend of Zelda OoT, and super Mario 64 can bring back so many memorys(:
Imagine a trailer with this game and in the end it says Rated R.
+Games Rated Rare :3
This came out when I was 15, and was basically what my life was going to be like for the next decade.
The theme for Kong the King is so powerful that it alone can make you feel sad.
when I was younger (played this game at a pretty young age lol) I loved the music that played at the rock solid so much that I took my stereo and put a blank tape in it, and recorded the majority of the song so I could listen to it all the time :D
I LOVE THIS GAME !!!
