I slept on Billie in the beginning. But I learned more about her and who she was as a person. Learned about her Tourette’s. Learned about how she has what’s called Synesthesia. It’s a condition where a person experiences perceptual phenomenon in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway leads to involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway. For instance, people with synesthesia may experience colors when listening to music, see shapes when smelling certain scents, or perceive tastes when looking at words.
I mean you say you don’t like her as an artist by listening to a few songs. Try listening to an album. Learn more about her. If you’re not into her then? I’d say move on.
I get that your personal taste is something hard and driving.
It has nothing to do with age. Her fans are all ages.

That’s why she’s respected by a lot of people in the industry.
I mean 'move on' isn't reallty an option when you have a reaction channel and people can request songs.
Also, having to learn about a person and their past to appreciate a song, isn't really a good thing.
A song should just be good on itself, without having to know all about her.
(I'm not saying they aren't good songs, but i'm reffering to your point about getting to know her).

I love this song. Every time I hear it, I think of The Haunting of Hill House. It just fits the vibe of that show so perfectly. 🥰

yeah, man. you're not alone out there. a lot of people get their endorphin fix from high energy music. a lot of others don't need the "american idol" belting vocals. i'm the latter. i suggest you just move on. it's ok. you might find in 10 years that you like it. that's happened to me so many times in my life. so many times i've said out loud that i don't like an artist or genre and then 5 years later, i can't get enough of it. peace.
