No Rock guitarist plays with the emotion that David Gilmour does, imo! He makes his Stratocaster sing, cry, scream, weep, into your soul, to tell a story like a book or a film.
Marooned is the only Floyd song that won a Grammy. I suggest you listen to "Surfacing". It's on Endless River album. It's less than 3 minutes long, but it's same caliber as Marooned. BTW, because you were closing your eyes a lot enjoying the mastery of David Gilmour, the meaning of the video went over your head. Like many Floyd songs, you'll want multiple listens. Others say Terminal Frost, that is good. The whole Endless River album is instrumental except the last track.
Try DAVID GILMOUR's song "5AM" from his 2016 live concert in Pompeii, no lyrics. Follow that with FACES OF STONE. His Pink Floyd afterlife is amazing too!
Do so miss Rick Wright!(piano, synth, singer etc.) He was such a genius along with David Gilmour. They created the PF sound. Insane amount of talent in these guys and this band.
Mr. David Gilmour's guitar, along with those images from present day city of Chernobyl, together with others from before the reactor's explosion, is a reminder of the real threat we are now living.
Do "Terminal Frost" & makes sure its the official video!! It's all music as well and possibly more beautiful than Marooned! it was from their Momentary lapse of Reason album
Terminal Frost from The momentary lapse of reason album...One of thes days too. go to the Pulse concert...Any colours you like from dark side of the moon album...but that yo have to listen complete...greetings from Chile
Another song no lyrics. Dave "live at Pompeii' " One of these days"********* which he played there 43 yrs prior . Starts with an instrument I have never seen and don't know what it is. Dave the only person to played there twice since 79 AD. his last concert ever.
david gilmour, has some music only tracks i would recommend, 'lets get metaphysical' ruclips.net/video/8Y3u1nDH_wU/видео.html. and 'raise my rent' ruclips.net/video/RK18KpCCmx0/видео.html, from solo albums which i have enjoyed decades. however, their long careers are endless with live, studio, and solo and side projects, so just explore. most have a few favorites but the journey is plentiful.
Several Floyd songs with no, or very little words: Main Theme (From the album Music From the Film More) Up the Khyber and More Blues from the same album. Careful With That Axe Eugene One of These Days Murderistic Woman The Great Gig in the Sky, but that should be listened to with the whole album it's on. Interstellar Overdrive, the early UFO club perfomances with Syd Barrett is what put them on the map, but later editions would come to be not recommendable. Atom Heart Mother (from 4/29/70 or BBC version) which are at the top of my favorite PF tracks even though I'm not a fan of the album version. There are others, but none I recommend.
2 of my favourite Pink Floyd songs have only 1 short line of text, “Careful with that axe Eugene” and “one of these days” both can be found on Life at Pompeii 1972
The Great Gig in the Sky doesn't have lyrics, but there's singing. Same with Atom Heart Mother. Both are very beautiful. Some people prefer the original studio Great Gig, and it's amazing for a few reasons, but I really love the Pulse version. The studio version is raw where the Pulse version is more refined.
They won a Grammy's for Marooned ✨ .Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance (Instrumental) 1994 . 🎤🎸🥁🎹🎷🎶🎶🎶🎶

The whole endless river is made of material that wasn't included in the division bell for a variety of reasons. So the style is the same.

5 AM ********************** Last performing " Comfortably numb" 150 million views. 2 & third best solos " Sorrow & in any tongue
Great reaction!! This is why David Gilmour is my favorite guitarist. His early solo albums are very good as well.

Just too short!
They won something like a lifetime achievement grammy or something similar.
Great reaction, a musical under water experience, a David Gilmour guitar god medicine for our ears, although this fan video didnt fit
Pink Floyd don't just plug into amps...they plug into your souls as well. They are truly unique.
instrumental tipp: "one of theses days" pulse live
Terminal Frost from The momentary lapse of reason album...One of thes days too. go to the Pulse concert...Any colours you like from dark side of the moon album...but that yo have to listen complete...greetings from Chile
😎👍
Pink Floyd takes your mind to another place.
Bro , when you can , React to Pink Floyd - Dogs ( with lyric ) = 17 min song . 1977 . for me , it's a Masterpiece .

There’s an hour long version of this on RUclips

Check out the trilogy of tales by Ren The Tale of Jenny,Screech, and Violets Tale. It needs to be in order because it’s musical theater stories
no one knows this. Burn Jam David Gilmour with Guy and Rick just playing.
sorrow on pulse show you gonna live something
Terminal frost , any colour u like, one of these days, is there anybody out there , are all great Floyd instrumentals
Images of Chernobyl. 😪
We should give this song and video as a gift to our alien visitors to listen to up there.
Any colour you like 👍
Marooned is their only Grammy winning song (somehow). There’s an hour long loop of it here on YT I listen to every night when I’m going to sleep.
Listen to 'Raise my rent' by David Gilmour (of PF)
Open your eyes man, try to get the message!
Another David Gilmour song that brings tears to my eyes!

David Gilmour echoes live in Gdansk 2006 is other worldly also...takes you to a place so peaceful
Pink floyd the best band ever
