- A number of School of Rock students head to Rax Trax in Chicago, IL for the first time to record "Oye Como Va" by Santana.

A classic song that I still love 53 years later. Language is no barrier to a classic song. These kids don't look to be anymore than 11 to 13 years old at the most but they nailed this one big time. Amazing talent.

What kind of loser gives this a thumbs down? These kids are very young, pre teen and they are killing it. Amazing. I was in bands for years and we didnt sound this good sometimes. The lead guitar is damn good.
What's so great about this is that I swear that most of the kinds are not even teenagers yet they play this song as well as they do. Incredible !!

REALLY impressed with this group of kids! I wish I could have been playing Rock at 11 or so, but I was stuck with a cello and 8 notes with 'Canon in D'. I started Guitar 2 years later, and Bass a year after that, but these kids are already better than when I was at my peak at 21!

I am so impressed & encouraged by these students/performers. I am a musician and music instructor, and I'm so uplifted when my students give a perfect performance at a recital. The stress and tension of performing for an audience or for recording equipment & cameras can be immense. BRAVO! To all of you!!

WOW! Very Impressive! I don't know how far back I have been following School of Rock. A decade or more? This is the first video I have seen with actual kids playing. It is usually much older high-school age young men and women playing. Although the stage presence lacked greatly (some even looking bored), all in all, great musicians.
Pure WOW! I've seen Santana live 10 times since 1975, but I just wanted to say this guitar player here is so good. I also play guitar and this kid can play, he is smoking on this song. Amazed!!!

10 times! Wow! I first saw them in 1973, Auckland Civic Theatre - and you could not find a better venue for Santana. Go find some of the photos - mind-blowing place for mind-blowing music!!

I still remember one of the first times that I heard Santana, it was Evil Ways. I must have been 8 or 9. OMG, I was dancing and just grooving! After that, all I wanted was to get a guitar and play like Carlos!! He is da man!!
