I got to play (trumpet) with Tito for a guest appearance at my college in the early 90’s. He was just a class act and had stories to tell that I got to share with my kids and hopefully my grandkids someday. Maynard Ferguson was our other guest that we played with that year and had some other great stories about Tito that to this day make me just bust up laughing. The body may leave this earth but true legends never die!

Me too. I studied music as a young kid and took organ lessons for 7 years. Being exposed to a variety of different genres gives one an appreciation of all types of music. This man was fantastic. I truly love Latin music.
