This is awesome. My 12 year old and I have been bluegill fishing a lot the last few weeks. He cooks them all. The bluegill bodies look like the old Garfield cartoon when Garfield eats a fish. So fun to watch a kid get so excited over fishing and cooking his own dinner.

Massive bluegills on light tackle....it does. to het any better than that and on crickets so your hands don't have to get all nasty fishing with worms. Awesome video

@@903fishing I went out to scout the day after I made this comment. Honeycombs everywhere. and big bull sitting. honesty I caught one and released him but they just wouldn't bite. more territorial. Have not seen honeycomb beds active in several years. glad I didn't give up. great channel and experience you share
your fortunate to have blue gill like that left in your state. i live in south dakota and most of ours are all caught out do to over harvest. we need a size limit put on them but in the wisdom of our game commision and worthless biologists it just doesnt seem to happen.
That 10 1/2 er , My friends and I here in Ga. Calls a brim like that a titty brim, because you can't fit it in your hand so you have to hold it to your chest just under the breast . thus Titty brim!
