    Bronco is one of the only new vehicles that has mirrors that complete the front silhouette - the mirrors look so intentional but also bold and brash that really makes it stand out. especially since it extends through the cowl, really makes this thing unique but also calls back so well to the OG bronco 1.

      The 10:1 is kinda far fetched maybe 3-4:1…I 100% disagree with your 2nd part tho. The people who really want the Bronco do not want the Sport. Now their wallet may MAKE them have to settle for the Sport but the don’t want it. The Sports main demographic is a less pseudo but still pseudo off roader (think of a more angular styled jeep Cherokee)
      Edit: I’ll revise that to a 2-3:1 ratio. The Sport is kinda overpriced and kinda small for the price also.

    Ford understood what Landrover didn't. People want a platform to build upon, just like the Jeep wrangler. Allowing the end-user to make it their own beast. This is exactly why the Bronco will be amazing over the long term. Hell Ford openly invited ahead of time aftermarket major supplies to get prepped for the Bronco, meaning customers from day 1 have hundreds of aftermarket parts ready to go.

      I really like the 2 door Wrangler Willys package but I equally like the 2 door Bronco Base, if Jeep were to drop their Willys package down to the price of the Bronco Base non squatch or cheaper then that would sway me to Jeep big time and likely many others who don't want to wait a year for a new Bronco. Prices for Jeep are too high and that includes used prices too, they should start offering discounts.

    Jeep guy here, good review on the road but I need to see it on the trails, I want to see the clearance and break over angles. I want the competition and I think Ford through the gaunlet down which is great! My two cents: pros.. production 35s ready to take "most" trails so you don't have to do much to make it decently capable - IFS has advantages especially on road and higher speed off road or back road cons: IFS is expensive to lift after market.. off roaders are going 37 and 40s now. no V8 yet.. I think also one big pro.. the interior is wide open above the drivers head unlike the Jeep which has a big cross member in the 4 door adn added speakers which can be annoying and get in the way. Overall I like the "real" Bronco and when/if I go to buy another Jeep I will compare this to the Wrangler. Besides that I want to see it out on the trails so it will be fun to see it out there!

    • @RougaRouKJun
      @RougaRouKJun 3 года назад +1

      IFS has no advantage off road. They put 35s on a his bronco with no space in the wheel wells. And if your are a real off roader you can’t go higher then 35s without a ton of other upgrades to make everything strong enough. You can go to the mall on 37s but you’ll break stuff on the trail. The bronco has the same suspension as the Ford ranger. no one is taking Ford rangers off road

      @@RougaRouKJun I have zero skin in the game on this as I am a jeeper and prefer solid axels for off road for durability and making lifting cheaper and easier BUT.. IFS I would argue does have a place off road depending on what type of terrain or off roading you intend on doing. IF a new buyer looking at the Bronco with 35s may not want it for rock crawling and a new Jeep comes with 32s so it will appeal to some buyers off the lot to be ready and go. There are also pleanty of IFS examples out there that have been used as off road vehicles so I just dont agree with that sentiment.

      I still don’t understand how they “compete”. They are two very different vehicles. This is an IFS vehicle. Totally different mission from the Jeep. This is a daily driver with some significant off-road capability. The Jeep is a dedicated off-road vehicle that is tolerable as a daily driver.

    Ford is definitely on the right track to ditch cars and focus on trucks/SUVs - Broncos, F-150 Lightning, Maverick, etc.
