Is this $20 game a must have? My Dyson Sphere Program Review

- In recent times, I've found myself drawn to various video games, some more costly than others. The market has been flooded with games that are expensive yet incomplete, such as Diablo I, which retails at $100 but doesn't seem to deliver a satisfactory experience.
However, there was one exception - Starfield. I've spent a substantial amount on Starfield and still find myself engrossed. It stands out as the only game I've invested heavily in and felt genuinely content with my purchase.
On the other side of the spectrum, there's Wild Minder. My wife and I initially enjoyed playing it, but after a few hours, we felt something amiss. Even after trying multiple new starts, the game still felt lacking, missing that crucial element that makes it feel whole.
In my search for a new gaming experience, I stumbled upon the Dyson Sphere Program, a game that had been on my radar for a while. The game, visually appealing, reminds me of other titles like Factorio and Satisfactory, though I'd argue it leans more towards the latter due to its modern graphics.
An intriguing feature in Dyson Sphere Program is its player progress representation. The game portrays players as stars in the Milky Way, with the brightness of each star possibly indicating the player's power.
The gameplay revolves around a 3D planet setting, introducing an engaging twist to the conventional game setting. In essence, you play as a mech, laying out conveyor belts, storages, and various production mechanisms, converting raw materials into usable items. The depth and complexity are notable, offering a vast research tree and multiple layers of challenges.
While playing, I occasionally found myself turning to RUclips for assistance, especially when faced with complex setups. But once the puzzle pieces fit together, the gratification was immense.
A unique aspect of the Dyson Sphere Program is its emphasis on efficiency and constant improvement. Much like other games I've enjoyed, like RimWorld and Oxygen Not Included, the urge to restart and optimize keeps drawing you back.
For those considering diving into the Dyson Sphere Program, I believe it offers great value at $20. With its early access stage promising more features to come and its current depth and complexity, it seems like a worthy investment.
In conclusion, the world of gaming offers a wide array of experiences. While some might leave you desiring more, others, like the Dyson Sphere Program, can provide hours of engaging and rewarding gameplay. Thank you for tuning in, and I hope to see you in the next game review.

Lemme know what yall think, or if you think theres a better factory sim out there worth the time.
Not a factory game but I highly recommend "The Planet Crafter" it's single player only right now but me and my Wife have been playing it and it's an amazing game. It's still in early access but has a ton of content. Highly recommend it
This is a game I keep coming back to. Each "seed" (the cluster of stars) is different each time you restart. I highly suggest watching some videos (Nilaus is a good one, his videos are a little on the older side but the mechanics of the game haven't really changed). Link to DSP tutorial series

*_"I highly suggest watching some videos"_*
I advise against it.
@@MichaelDomerYeah, only watch videos if you get stuck at some point. It's way more satisfying to solve problems yourself
@@clocked0 The best way to boost your creativity is by constantly forcing yourself to *BE* creative.
Copying others doesn't make you creative.
I used to be a moderator on a Photoshop forum; we constantly had people asking how to make tentacles in 3D that a lot of people using in web design. People just don't want to be creative.
I run a Photoshop site for 19 years now, millions every year view my tutorials, and I even got international awards for some of them
Guess what? I never watched or read a single Photoshop tutorial before I started that site, or after.
How many Halloween movies have there been? 13.
Lack of creativity... taking the easy road instead.... you see it in gaming too.
Dyson sphere program is a unique game indeed and other factory sims out there that you most likely have played before but are still very nice would be; Factorio, Satisfactory(has map limits would not reccomend personally), Rimworld(mods), timberborn, and one of my favorites bitburner. This video is a good review as well i think it went in depth enough and it seems to have very very honest opinions and showcases of what you do or did
I really appreciate that, I try to give my 100% no biased honest opinion. I will say that I really did not like timberborn though, Satisfactory was kinda okay, and I haven't tried Rimworld. I greatly appreciate you leaving a comment though! :D
@@Bubba87I also didn't really care for Timberborn. Maybe I need to give it another try, but it was just boring to me
In Factorio I believe the term is “mall,” an area that auto constructs buildings for you so you don’t have to hand craft. You get to walk through and grab what you need similar to it’s namesake
"ITS NOT A MALL, its a hub" -nilaus probbably
U should play factorio. It's seriously amazing. Lmk when u do
I think it was an okay game before they decided it was a good idea to add combat. For people that bought in early it felt like a bait and switch what they've done.
As a fellow Bubba I approve.
To be honest. Factorio is by far the best game. You should give it a shot
True, but it's a 2d game that's been in development for a lot longer than Dyson Sphere project.
I hope the developers of this game have the same passion as Wube does because it has so much potential.
Right? I keep buying replacements, desynced, Dyson sphere, techtonica, and soo many more, but going back to factorio is always better. But I need something else also.
Id sub for more DSP!
