Nah, a Bible is just the collection of all documentation made to a certain product. A movie bible, for example, is usually used to pitch it to the studio and contains the full cast of characters, the plot, art direction and other such things.
No one today will understand the torment of making separate menu systems in DOS so you could either play DooM or use your normal config. This was our devotion.

And probably cast Arnie, Because in my mind a movie version of Doomguy spews 80s action hero one liners while liquifying demons with "excessive" firepower.
The best part of this gun is how madly it's coded in the original dooms. Until you read about how the raytracing attack actually works it feels like a complete coin flip... sometimes hitting like a wet noodle, sometimes cleaning entire rooms. Best bit, it always hits like a truck when you're right in the thick of it and does almost nothing if you cover fire shoot and like a damned coward.
Another reference: Gauntlet Legends and its updated version Dark Legacy has the archer's strongest attack called the BFG. It is also a big green projectile of "fuck this direction in particular."
You should have bought two of those toy guns and built the BFG IRL - at least in plastic toy form. (2 or 3 or 4 or however many you would need to get all the parts in place)
reallly ? It's that bad ? the old doom movie wasn't very good aside of the FPS sequence which was funny, but the BFG there was lame, hell it didn't cleared rooms and felt weaker than quake 3's

To this day, blasting the Cyberdemon's brains out with a point blank BFG shot in DOOM 2016 after the boss spends the latter half of the fight literally cowering in fear from you is the coolest experience in a game ever

Actually the first update to the BFG was quake 2 as since it was the gun that shoots an explosive plasma ball that shoots rays Using the BFG with the quad damage allowed you to clear a whole corridor of enemies as long as the ball didn't exploded on something.
My brothers and I had that toy gun in the early 2000s, we loved that thing. But our dad gave it away with 95% of our toys (while we were all still kids and when we still played with our toys. Him doing that, caused us to play so many video games because we had basically nothing. And he hates that we all play so many video games)
I swear, every single time you pull the trigger on the BFG feels like a Big Deal, no matter how many times you do it, and this applies both to the classic and modern Doom games.
I had a “desert Shield” machine with attachable grenade launcher. I noticed the gun right below the BFG was modeled directly from a part of that toy. It was exact. This now confirms they were just copying toy guns. Kinda cool
the SpaceX thing is called Starship, Im guessing because its far easier to market it to government critters under that name. Though hearing the NASA director say "Big Fucking Rocket" would have been great.
