    My biggest issue for Project 2025 is the elimination of the FDA and Environmental Protection Agency

    • @whitezombie10
      @whitezombie10 6 месяцев назад +289

      The reason why many want to do that is because of corporations corrupting people in the agencies, and many think that the corruption is so rooted in those organisations that eliminating them and rebuilding them is easier than fixing the problem

    • @angelic710
      @angelic710 6 месяцев назад +148

      FDA, USDA and EPA have been the most ineffective and corrupt agencies to ever exist. Funding IRS has been yielding given the increase in revenue from auditing rich corps and folks. That is the only thing that makes sense. However there needs to be an effective alternative in place.

      One of the main example is no or twisted education leads to literacy rates dropping and less media literacy
      No literacy = easily manipulated
      Easily manipulated --> gateway towards dictatorship
      Another example that may speak to you, low literacy rate = can't get a job that needs maths, reading or critical thinking --> no economical prospect for the society and so it will collapse, shrink or will need external actors to get involved in the workforce which racist people don't like lol

Since Regan, over 50% of the current recommended policies have been implemented when a republican president gets in. Republican presidential consistently do at least half of the recommendations made by the heritage Foundation.
      3) Nothing in the document is unexpected. Acting like it's ridiculous to think that republicans want to ban abortion federally or scrap the epa or pack government officials with trump loyalists is clearly dishonest or blinkered behaviour.
      These policies are completely in line with and a natural extension of everything republicans have been doing and saying over the last few decades. And in particular over the last few years.
