    I have found through my experience and my brother's, the Hyundai motors burn about two quarts of oil every 4000 miles or so, so if you use full synthetic oil and change your oil beyond this amount of miles, check your oil and top it off every 3000 to 4000 miles. My mechanic told me this was normal for these modern motors due to their design.

If you have warranty, there is no reason you shouldn’t take it to the dealership as the dealership will provide the services for free however, maintenance is not part of the warranty, and in such having it performed anywhere or even at home by no means can void your warranty. Using your logic buying tires at a tire shop other than the dealership would void your warranty because obviously it’s not the dealership just like getting your oil changed at some facility other than the dealership it doesn’t void your warranty performing an oil change at home it’s completely legal and will not void your warranty, what do you think every time someone gets a oil change somehow the dealership find out you’ve had it done how would they know it was done when it was done who did it look up the Magnuson warranty act. remember to start the car and after that to wait for a few minutes to let the oil drip back into the oil pan, because than the oil pump can pump the oil through the engine and fill the oil filter. after that you can read the oil level correctly

  • @jasontaylor3043
    @jasontaylor3043 7 месяцев назад

    Only step missed was to start car after fill, let it run for about 30 seconds to circulate through the engine and filter. Then shut car off and let it rest back into the pan then check oil level for proper level.
