I thought the Elantra N takes 0W30
It does l
I’m sure she is using the 5w40 for her temperature range. Also the lifter noise will go away with her choice of viscosity.
The way you said "liqui moly" is so satisfying to hear 🙉😆
Can't do your own oil change under warranty! It'll void everything
False statement
@@frank12777 yea, tell yourself that when your engine messes up and thay ask for proof of oil change. I've been thru it. They won't care if you recorded it or if you show them receipts of the stuff you bought, they want it done by a company so they can back track it
@@devilray09cub “engine messes up” really? What kind trash car you buying first off all. They would have to prove it was the oil if that and your one personal experience doesn’t apply to all
@@frank12777 my water pump went out under warranty. Had nothing to do with oil. They wanted proof of engine maintenance to make sure everything was done right. I ended up having to do it myself.
@@frank12777not false just happened to my buddy with a Kia he had to pay 10,000 for the new motor
as a mechanic student this video is art as you did nothing wrong on the oil change though you should try pouring oil by keeping the canuster sideways so more air gets in allowing for a smoother pour
Changing the blinker fluid good job 😅
You don't tighten an oil filter beyond hand tight.
Hand tight means different for different people. My hand tight as a diesel mechanic is tight. Her hand tight might actually be a little loose. Also some manufacturers say hand tight and then a half turn with a wrench
Good thing the filter says gasket contact and 4/5 turn, which can be done with a ratchet and filter cup
Liqui Moly - one of the best‘
Pennzoil platinum is almost the exact same and a lot cheaper
Not safe , you need 4 chocks for front and back of rear wheels and 2 jack stands . That ramp is just plastic and there are lots of stories that it can sometimes just collapse without warning ! Plus you are on an uneven surface so the ramp can move and the car will slide back or front !
That rear end looks so good, I'm totally meaning the cars rear 🤫
Beautiful love her
What torque was the bolt 🤔🤨
What about fuel filter?
Did you void the warranty?
What are those wheel chocks for larger vehicles? Because I need to do some vehicle maintenance on my vehicle.
What is the brand and model of ramp? I like them!
That’s actually a nice short how to change your oil video, keep it up!
What about the warranty ? Will the warranty be void if oil changes and scheduled maintenance done outside the manufacturer authorised service centre? Especially for a new car ?
No. What voids the warranty is if the car has an issue ir defect that was caused by something the driver did to the car, or caused by improper use of the vehicle
Awesome ramps, where can you buy them from? Thanks Kristian
How did you dispose the old oil?
Why is the oil fill cap so yellow? Coolant mixing with oil or condensation in the engine?
What kind of ramps are those? I've been looking for a new pair after my other ones broke
what are those ramp things ? i wanna start doing my own oil changes
What is that called that you put under the tyres to lift the car high. ???
Is the 2.0 Hyundai engines reliable? Or are they as bad as they say?
