There are two types of nellis. one is sour and a bit sweet, and this one you're trying in the video is the other one. That nelli type is one of the main medicinal plants. it has 5 tastes. if you drink water after having one, you'll understand it's sweetness. Btw, that's not one family, seems all the neighbours had come to visit you, and that's so sweet.
Yes. I think it's called wild goosberry in English and it's used in Native srilankan medicine as well as in aurvedic medicine . It contains all 5 tastes such as sweet ,sour, bitter........
@@teacher.3101 I agree. You can find a bigger version in India, which is less bitter. Also, the rooster lamp is considered an auspicious item. If you're about to do something good in your life, or at any other time when you expect good fortune, you can light the rooster lamp.

That's something positive I would say 🤘
That house reminds me of when we were in badulla. We moved to colombo when I got a scholarship. I know colombo has way better Internet and all but to be honest living in badulla is way better mostly because our house in colombo is considerably smaller and has nowhere to go outside. I miss nature :(
People aren't even that friendly here and it's really hard to make friends with colombo kids who spend most of their time inside
