Hi Carlos!!! I am glad you visited Badulla. This is my hometown. I was so delighted to see all the places I visited when I was there. It is kind of getting an update. Currently, I live in Canada. From my point of view, it would be nice to explain a little about what is in the video.
Colombo, Kandy, Galle, and Jaffna are the prominent cities in Sri Lanka and tourism based. Badulla is an isolated city. It is situated in a hilly area and far from the major cities. Roads are difficult. It takes five or six hours to reach Colombo by bus. Very difficult road with narrow bends, and sometimes earth slides happen.
People in this area are a bit shy, introverted, and simple. There is a major reason for that. This is a city affected by colonialism. In 1817 (Great Rebellion 1817 - read more about it on the internet), people from this area rebelled against the British and were defeated. This is the result of cruel impact. It says in the folk stories that the British killed all men and burnt all the paddy fields. I too, wonder to see how it affects until today. When it comes to cities like Colombo, and Galle, people are mixed and have ancestors somehow related or converted to the religion or mixed culture. Here we still have the rural, Sinhala Buddhist culture with some Muslims and Tamils. So, you are complaining about these people, and I was in Canada having the same experiences. Gaslighted, Scammed, received silent treatment and faced racism.
There is enough evidence to prove that if you have focused on the better things in this town (buildings just next to where you visited than focusing on a diaper on the road). Also, I can video and send how dirty Toronto or New York is. Please, tell me where you are from, and I will send the dirtiest things on the road I bet you.
The scene at 3.33 min is the place where low-income people come to sell their products. This is a place built by the Provincial Council of the Uva province to help the self-employed. Service receivers are the people who come to the schools, hospitals, courts, and other government offices. I know this is unclean and the quality is not up to the food as in some Moonbucks or Old M donalds level, but we are happy to have it as we like to be satisfied by a simple life.
Also, I heard that you were saying everything is fried but it is not our problem. We love fried food. When I came to Canada, I was worried as I could not find this tasty food and was complaining to myself, “Everything is boring.”
At 26.43 min, the lady is disturbing you as she is a beggar. These kinds of people can be seen everywhere in any part of the world. Once, I visited KLA- Malaysia, and my guide also complained about beggars in Sri Lanka. She said removing beggars from tourism-targeted areas is the strategy followed by Malaysia. But, still, my father was attacked by street vendors in Malaysia in front of the Twin Towers.
Last but not least, you are experiencing Sri Lanka after a huge economic crisis, which has brought every area of the country back 10 years. I would be glad if you could have some kind of balance when you are filming and titling a video.

In sri lanka,we usually do not keep task bin in a visible places(We keep them in hide).Becouse we don't like to see trash(task bins). We think seen a task is like a nagative sign

This is not rainy season . Climate of Srilanka has changed. No one can predict now when rains come and when dry seasons come. Now here in Srilanka we experience heavy rains even in dry months. December and January are normally dry months but that procedure has changed. Don't think this is a rainy month.
I saw how you made several mistakes while eating...in one vlog you put your hands on the bowl and ate..didn't use a spoon...in this vlog you put manderin seeds in the bowl....we don't do that in Sri Lanka...
