I’ve carried a p32 every day now for 8 years. Qualified with it twice. A Sub 2000 lives in my bugout bag and never has a hiccup when it gets a workout. Kel Tec apparently isn’t for whiners.

Because I know he was just showing the 22LR pistol that has gotten great reviews and my friends new Walther PPQ 22 Pistol constantly jams. Maybe my friend just got a bad one... but it’s my first time shooting a Walther anything and now in my mind... it leaves a very bad impression.
💯 They have teething issues when they release new stuff but that’s the reason, it’s 100% new and there’s no reference for them, it’s all proprietary design and kind of outside the box like Eric says here. I have no prob giving them time to make something good to go, the problem is companies that still can’t make ARs and stuff that work when they have countless blueprints to steal hahaha
The problem is there a super small manufacturer and they'll make one or two guns at a time they don't have the production space to do full runs on all their guns all the time
LowQ I got a .40 cal sub 2000 it's junk can't shoot it more than 5 times without it stove piping. Sometimes it stove pipe so bad it dents the bullet casings

Just got a Kel-Tec RDB-S it broke within the first 30 minutes of owning it. Sent it out and I got it back within a week! I put 1k rounds through it with no problems. I really like this gun it's awesome!

I have an RFB and a KSG. Both fantastic guns. I got my RFB in 2018, so maybe they had made some adjustments it since it released, but I've had absolutely zero issues with mine, despite seeing videos of or hearing stories about people with problems with theirs. On the video front, literally every issue I've seen with the RFB is when people don't take the time to tune their gas block. Most of the time they specifically say "I haven't bothered touching the gas yet." It has 40-50 clicks (!!!!) of adjustment, so you really need to fine tune it for each load of ammo. You CAN just open it open so so it can eat any round you put in it, but then it's going to kick like a mule and potentially wear out faster. I still need a 5.56 gun in my collection and I've been thinking about picking up an RDB to complete the bullpup trifecta. While I prefer the look of the original RDB's handguard, I'm also a huge M LOK fan and I'd love to get my hands on that new one. My biggest complaint about the RFB and KSG is that it's tough to get a light in the position I want it in.
Something I haven't seen in years is an update on the SU-16a . To me it seems to be the perfect truck gun/every day utility rifle. The most resent video I've seen on it is 5 years old. I'd really like to know if any new changes or updates have been made to it.
Do the new RDB models come with that front grip or is that just the Lucky Irishman grip? The RDB I got came with an ugly plastic thing, so I bought the Lucky Irishman thing and installed it myself.
Got one keltec little black in pick 380acp bought for wife have in the home. Carry it for 3 yrs as a ccw. Great little deep pocket gun. Have carry in few months do to the ruger sr40c took over its job as ccw.
I’ve used the Sub 2000 Gen 2 for a ranch truck gun. Takes the abuse, dirt and mud as good if not better then any military rifle. Accurate, dependable and compact. Easy to clean. I’d buy another.

@Pat Swayze the only one I own is the PMR30, I was lucky to get a gen2 (the version that works properly), I’ve got about 3500 cartridges through with only around 20 malfunctions. I really wish they’d put just about $100-150 per gun in MSRP into making their stuff work properly.
On that last one, it's a good thing you can take that shopping cart handle off the top and put a rail on it. They will probably sell better because of that feature. Thank you for sharing these shot show videos with us.
I bought a 17.5" RDB for my son for graduation. Shoots great with a Sig Romeo/Juliet red dot magnifier combo. Haven't had any issues so far with about 1,000 rounds through it with gen 2 pmags.
Is there ANY footage of the p17? Like actually being used? I know the prototypes had all the issues most 22pistol prototypes have, but havent heard anything since.
Kel-tec is the Rodney Dangerfield of firearms. I’ve 3 and they work great. Accurate, dependable, easily disassembled and reassembled. Etc. etc. etc.....
I have a RDB. It's fun to shoot. Been having to get a few kinks worked out, but Kel tec has great customer service to help out. It was having consistent light primer strikes.

I owned 1 kel tec it was a pocket 9mm. I think it was called a p 11. New from box the rear sight was messed up. 1st day at the range it completely locked up. Never bought another one never will.
If/when you get to Ruger to ask about the 5.7, I'd like to know if the external safety is optional because I like the idea of a 5.7 for CC but not a wide and wonky safety on a CC handgun

They have...uneven quality. A lot of their stuff is great, and they are innovating in new directions. But their PMR-30 is known _within Kel-Tec_ as the jam-o-mqtic. Their sub2000 has great reviews though, and would probably make a good first gun.
@@Stevarooni well, my pmr-30 works ok so far. about 300 rounds on the range. a couple of FTF, but starting to really like how it points and shoots naturally for me. it is a great BACK PACK buddy. so far the squirrels and rabbits hate me. lol.
I wish that KelTec would make some innovations in the SU-16 series. Innovations in the SU-16 such as a Su-30 in 7.62x39, or even a .308 or 6.5 Creedmoor model.
So far only noteworthy things has been ar500 with its helmets with rifle plates PSA with its affordable mp5 and Glock clones and NEMO with its ar10 recoil reduction system
I love keltec designs but I hate their reliability issues. I had a gen2 s2k that literally shot itself apart. What firearms company glues their castle nut on? Keltec.
For some reason I thought the sub2k in the thumbnail looked like a shotgun. I was getting excited at the idea of a sub2k shotgun! Although recoil would be killer...
If i could get the M43 id buy it. But im not interested in the plastic ones. I had an rfb and while it was a lot of fun, it was alot of work too. I sold my PPQ45 for a double stack 1911, i dont like the plastic guns much and really like the stamped/wood style in a bullpup.
What a lot of people I talk to, including myself wish that Kel Tec would make is a Sub 2000 in 10mm. I hope they will consider that in the future, I'm certain it would be a very popular option.
You "action movie heroes" forget that real life is different. P32 works good enough and most importantly it is one of the smallest handguns around that still gives you 8 rounds. In office environment it keeps you armed despite company policy. I have my p32 always on me and that's still better than having double stack Glock 70-80% of the time.
Edubbplate I agree, upgraded from Iver Johnson TP-22 to Beretta Tomcat, to KelTec 32, and finally a 3AT, which is basically the same size. Always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!

I bought a gen 1 sub 2000 back in 2011 and i just adapted a spring loaded door hinge to for the red dot and it has held its zero near flawlessly

You "action movie heroes" forget that real life is different. P32 works good enough and most importantly it is one of the smallest handguns around that still gives you 8 rounds. In office environment it keeps you armed despite company policy. I have my p32 always on me and that's still better than having double stack Glock 70-80% of the time.
I have one!, love it. I'm tall and skinny and wear clothes that fit.. can't conceal much . Waiting for ccw license to carry .
Edubbplate I agree, upgraded from Iver Johnson TP-22 to Beretta Tomcat, to KelTec 32, and finally a 3AT, which is basically the same size. Always better to have it and not need it than to need it and not have it!

What is the price on the kel-tec 2000
I've wanted a ks7 since they came out but I'm concerned about the reliability of it long term. Like say 5k+ rounds or even more.
are they making extended cmr mags?
UGH. I knew I should have waited. I JUST got a gen 2 sub2000 and now I already have to upgrade. I was thinking this thing would be perfect if the entire barrel was just a giant muffler.
