I’m so glad you created the Howitzer Muzzle Break, the KSG was punching me in the shoulder whenever I visited the range.
Once I slapped that on, including the butt pad, the recoil was considerably reduced and the handling was noticeable and pleasant.

Made in America - I love it! I got the extended tube selector and the kydex cheek rest for my KSG. They really enhance the ease of operation. I need to get the lower pic rail and I'm thinking about either a muzzle brake (not the Howitzer - too big for me) or the choke tube adapter. Anyway, you guys are doing a great job - thanks!
I actually really like the lighter weight and simplicity of the KS 7 over the dual mag version and I may be weird but I dig the carry handle. I'm currently hunting for the FDE KS7 but when I find one I'll definitely be getting one of your muzzle brakes and shell holders 🙂👍

Only issue is you can’t get the spring follower cap off after you set the howitzer70. Don’t put the howitzer70 on before the spring cap. 👍

I bought all your accessories for the KS7 and they are great, actually, they made the KS7 go from not usable to a fun gun, BUT, the tool you give for the muzzle brake replacement should come with a handle, it was impossible to take off the factory one and had to take it to a gunsmith even though I had a 1/2 inch handle. thank you

You have to flip the neoprene sleeve of you have an m-lok sling on the back. Works great but you have to shorten the wide strap.
An flat m-lok piece that has Velcro for a shotgun card would be useful. The neoprene sleeve works great for a cheek cushion but sags like crazy when a card is attached.

I don't like it. With that said I love my KSG. It is so much fun and fits just fine in my closet with double the capacity. It is a perfect emergency firearm. I'm glad to hear the price is less on this gun.
I can see how this gun will appeal to other people especially at a cheaper price. Keltech, keep up the good work. I'm looking forward to buying my 2nd KSG. Why just have one when you can have two. It makes sense to me to have an upstairs and downstairs emergency shotgun.
3:35 military standard is not top notch nor state of the art, but it does look like you guys are making good products for a fair price 👍 will check them out soon
The capacity thing don't bother me that much most standard defensive shotguns depends on if you get the 18in or 20in only hold from 5 up to 9 rounds, what I like about these shotguns is they are compact. I like the idea of the ksg or ks7 but I wish they made them a little better.

Instead of a bolt on pump action upgrade could you guys consider making a full on replacement for the pump action that integrates MLok, preferably in aluminum. If you build something like that, I'd buy one!

Saw another channel have issues with the feeding and the slide unlocking without the release being depressed
@@maestrozero117 Always test out your gun at a range and make sure everything is working correctly. If not, just call back the manufacturer and they will always take it back to repair or replace. I know that stinks, but sometimes manufacturing or assembly issues happen. Overall I think the KSG's or KS7's are very reliable if operated correctly. Best regards

@@maestrozero117 just got one and the feeding is horrible, either it double feeds (70% of the time) or it doesnt even feed a shell on pumping (25% of the time) the remaining 5% is it actually functioning properly. I'm contacting keltec the second they open tomorrow.
@Eclipse538 yeah, I've never had a single issue with the other 3 or 4 pump shotguns I've used, tons of people had issues with the ks7 not feeding right. I sent it back, they replaced some parts and now it runs right with the same exact ammo that gave me issues, not just the same brand and type, but the same shells I used prior that wouldnt work. They somehow made an unreliable pump shotgun.
Im thinking that muzzle break might actually save your hand if you get a little too excited! Looks good

Would be nice to see a longer barrel and tube to feel a little safer, the KS7 is plenty light and compact to welcome a couple more inches without being a burden and wouldn't mind seeing how it looks as "KS8" or "KS9".

Love the carrying handle. Unique and functional, but it's not like this should be a first choice for grab n go at home either way. Cool range toy, though.
Has anyone else felt the need for a carry handle once replaced with a picatinny rail? I can't seem to find one that will lock down in a vertical or low profile position when not in use (kind of a "C" shape to contour to the side). It's not super necessary, but I'd like to have the option and I'm probably the odd man out since I can't find anything like that.

KS7 Needs a front sling mount
We do have a top rail mounted side mini-angle rail. If you attach that, you can put a QD front mount block. But I think they were thinking the KS7 would be a quick access home defense or vehicle weapon. Not really to carry around. For that you might want to upgrade to the KS7 with more capacity. Top Rail is a must have for this gun, the carry handle is fugly.

I bought a Kel Tec 7 and I think it's a really awesome concept of a shotgun. But what the f*** is up with the finger Ripper when you're loading it?
I know. Just use tactical gloves and be very careful.
I thought it was gonna be a bigger issue for me when I first got it, but I never run into that little hook the way I load it.

Hey thinking about buying one what is the New York laws on the Kel-Tec shotgun capacity?
KSG's are legal in all 50 states except the KSG-25. You can have up to 10 shells in each "manually" selectable tube. So the Manual Pump shotgun with a manual tube switch qualifies as legal in NY and CA which are the toughest states. The KSG-25 is not because each tube capacity is over 10 shells. What is the heat shield (that comes with the KelTec Pic Rail Kit ) for? Without it what would happen? eg. rail deformation or cycling issue?
That's basically a cage that holds it all together and distributes the force. We did not want to cut or drill into the plastic because that would ruin the integrity of the modling. This is the safest way to do it. Thank you.

I got one a week ago and shot bird and buck shot out of it. Just got back from the range and they only allow slugs. Not a good gun to shoot 1700fps slugs. I had 15 rounds shot only 8 and I feel like I shot 200 bird shoot. I’m definitely getting a butt pad and muzzle break.

Did you have any double feed issues
Kevin Cease no double feeds. If you don’t pump it all the way back with authority it won’t feed the next round though. I had that problem a couple of times.

Oh come on, I have a super light maverick 88, and it shoots heavy slugs fine. Sure you know there’s recoil but it’s not too bad.

Hi, you list both muzzle breaks, but you don't state the differences between the two other than the obvious visual difference. Which gives you a lesser recoil overall? Thanks
Hello. Sorry about that. The Howitzer70 gives you the most amount of recoil reduction of up to 70% depending on ammunition due to the most agressive porting machined into that design. it was designed by the US Military and works very effectively. I bought a KS7 about a year ago. It's my first shotgun. Only taken it to shoot twice because of recoil...my poor shoulder.
What does the muzzle break do and what is the difference between the two breaks you offer? I will be placing an order if it helps with recoil.
The Defender brake reduces recoil by up to 30%, while the Howitzer70 reduces recoil by about double that due to the aggressive design of the brake. Just see the comments below that talk about the great recoil reduction achievements. Definitely pair that with our Recoil Pad and it will save your shoulder a lot of pain. I really like the KS7 - EVERY VIDEO I see on this KS7 - all owners complain about endless PROBLEMS & JAMMING- DOUBLE FEEDING- even after they send it back for repair it still WONT WORK RIGHT- every video on you tube shows these problems- when will This KS7 be fixed?

I been looking at the ksg nr but cant seem to find much info on it. other than been an old version is there something wrong with that version?
You can find the KSG-NR on www.gunbroker.com Just search under KSG-NR and you will find dealers selling them. It's just a lower volume manufactured shotgun becasue it's a nitch product. Good luck!
I just bought this gun and now seeing this double feed issue. Any comments on this issue? Also where are you located?
Kevin Cease Just bought one as well. So this gun is pretty picky, I’ve discovered because of the bullpup design it’s easy to short rack it. Since the action is farther to the rear it requires a good sharp rack to the rear and quickly forward to the front. If not it will double feed. Also if you use the Walmart target loads, it doesn’t like to feed those very well lol.

I ordered a hi tec muzzle brake but for some reason it doesn't clear the bottom tube cap.. am I missing something here? Someone help
Please make sure you ordered the KS7 version. The KSG muzzle brakes will not fit onto the KS7 due to clearance issues. We made the KS7 brakes narrower on the neck to compensate for that. See the KS7 section here: www.hitechcc.com/category/ks7.html

your products makes this a tolerable purchase BUT...
Worst gun you can buy, bought one and before I took it to the range, it started dropping multiple rounds on the ground every time you rack it, sometimes it does not feed either. the top tube is wobbly, and it kicks like a mule, I bought a pad for it, and a muzzle (that I have not installed yet so they don't cry and tell me I voided some obscure warranty, but I will when I get it back). forget about shooting slugs in it, your should cannot take it, no matter how tough you think you are, you will be bruised after few shots. the front of the barrel is so dangerous if you cycle fast enough, you could shoot off your fingers. with all that though, I have to give it to them, it does look badass! PS: I contacted them and they said they know and they have a fix, but then corona happened and they did not reply yet, waiting for the shipping label.

416 can still get rust or corrosion.
