How is the lower working out? I just got my aero lower yesterday. I see the top 3 shooters all using AR15 lowers. My buddy just tried a Lead Star lower 9mm and said the mags fall out so I’m worried this upper should be used with AR15 lowers. I was done with my build and used a Jp gmr15 lower but had issues seating the mags. I took it all apart and then came back to it by just installing the take down pins and upper to retest and it seemed fine. I am not certain what the issue was but the aero has a better fit to the upper than Jp so I’m going to use it. I’m curious about the AR15 lowers but would hate to convert over to those mags. If your aero 9 lower is working then I’m not gonna worry about it.

@@pew_stuffthanks man. I think jp may work but first attempt I couldn’t seat an empty mag. I have to sit down with it and inspect it closer as to why. After stripping the lower and just installing the take down pins with the upper the mags seated fine. Aero is way cheaper but has better fit anyway. Don’t bother with the jp lowers.
@@pew_stuffthanks. I found another vid of yours and you talked about the unrivaled. Have you tried it yet? I have the jp5 with all the smoke parts and it’s great. Would be fun to build a pcc with the mean upper and make it my own. I’m not sure it’s going to be better is my concern. You have both so do you think the quality is good on the mean etc? Thanks man
@@whitey4311 I have tested a properly tuned JP5 against my Mean Arms and the recoil impulse is very similar. I prefer the Mean's recoil because it seems to return to zero more consistently. I have shot over 11k rounds through the Mean system and have had zero issues. They have a lifetime warranty on their parts so that helps if they ever wear or break. @@pew_stuffnice. I have been running the jp5 since last July so about the same round count as you. Had 1 malfunction but it wasn’t a feed it was a dead hammer like it didn’t reset or I got trigger freeze. Cleared it too fast to know which lol. Not sure going down the path of this mean arms is smart or not. But I kind of like the idea of building my own pcc but it sounds like it’s not going to be drastically better. I’m shooting 124grn 60 lock piece and black stock spring. I ran the white spring for a long time but tried the black at this weekends match and it’s a smidge better.
@@whitey4311 yeah, personally if I already had a JP5 I wouldn't build a Mean Arms PCC. The reason I went the Mean Arms route is because I already had an existing blowback PCC and I really wanted a delayed action system. Spending almost $4k on a JP5 to replace my blowback just didn't sound economically reasonable. I found out about the Mean system and it was a fraction of the cost since I could repurpose my existing lower.

Would this upper work with a glock mag AR lower that has LRBHO? Any reason why it wouldn't?
It should as long as the lower has a removable ejector
