They did not perform in Budokan, Tokyo in 1986. They performed at SHIBUYA KOKAIDO and Sun Plaza.
wrong they played june 2 1986 with Ozzyin Budokan look it up.

haha good one. They never played with OZZY in Japan. On June 2nd there was no show and they had a break between two shows in States (Omaha 1st June, Dallas 3rd June). I'm a REAL fan , not some gossiper like you!
PS. And since you're talking about June 2nd, Cliff was still there then why the hell Jason would talk about it! Your story is soooo falling into mud...
Cmon guys they played in Japan on November 1986, theres even japanese interviews WITH Jason on youtube lol..

They haven't had Morbid Angel, Dimmu Borgir, or Behemoth on, they need to change the name of that show.
What would be so cool, is to sit down with a celebrity, especially like Jason, James or any of them really, & just have a casual conversation with them, don't have to be about their career like music, acting, & other types of celebrities. Just have a nice, cool conversation, about anything really. Hell might even smoke a joint or have a beer with them lol. Oh he said when Metallica was opening for Ozzy, lol how many shows did they do before Metallica stole the show? Or was it the first show lol?

I wonder what made the guys pick him up for the place. Probably a lot of even more talent bass players showed up. Jason is cool, I love his Metallica phase, but to me he's like, just a normal player. On Flotsam and Jetsam debut you got a bass solo on Metalshock and stuff but he has never been like a terrific player.
I think maybe he impressed them because he "knew" the set list? LOL Lars was impressed. He must have nailed it and the other 4 songs and probably seemed performance ready. Like he said 11 days later and he's in a sold out show in Japan, I'm sure he must have impressed James to the point that they felt he could do the job.
The main reason was the schedule. They wanted to keep on touring to erase Cliff's death out of their minds and as Jason knew all the songs. There was nothing more than this. In 11 days they were onstage again.
