it's been 3 months since my wife and I have watched, it was weekly routine until she had massive stroke. she's home now doing awesome. We are back now. Thanks for a great adventure.
I want to commend you on such a great job of explaining exactly how the ore body makes it into these faults. Awesome job buddy great video learn something new every time I watch one of these. Thanks again for taking the time to explain how these minerals were pushed up through permealable Rock by what would be extreme pressure! 👍
Wow! What a fly-through. If that back opening was not intentional, it would be funny to hear the conversation: "Uh boss, we ran out of mountain." Thanks as always for a reason to get up early on a Saturday.
Gorgeous opening sequence! And thank you for working that chipmunk so hard to get to the beautiful stopey goodness at the end. So satisfying. I'll add my thanks for the tutorial about ore bodies and mine organization. Love that part, too.
Gly is a man of magnitude knowledge, not only in his craft but life. I am Scottish and we Scots reward the Highest Accolades to Great men........he definitely would be one.
Absolutely the best video on exploring mines. I’ve been watching the guy at cerro Gordo but he never really explains anything. It’s nice that someone shows and tells why and how mines look the way they do.
GREAT VIDEO! Thank you so much for making it to this mine and exploring it! I’ve been wanting to explore this mine for years now, I actually made it to the mine about 3 years ago but had to turn back and go home because it was getting dark and my friends didn’t have headlights on their dirt bikes and we had a 30 mile ride home. Shortly after that I moved back to Ohio due to my family members getting older and wanting to spend more time with them. I didn’t know if I would ever get to see this mine or not, so thanks again for exploring it and keep up the great work on the videos!
Another hit out of the park Gly. I enjoyed the flight through the tunnel, let’s do that one again! I get a laugh from the Chipmunk mode, that Chipmunk sounds like a poor little winded Pomeranian. 🐶
@@AbandonedandForgottenPlaces As I have related to Jeff Williams, the two YT channels you both individually produce had given me something to watch and enjoy last year when I needed it most. Thank you and I tip my hat to you both.
Yes! Great camera work....really enjoyed the chipmunk cam. One more thing, when I was little in the 1950s, went to KNott's Berry Farm alot in Ca. They had what seemed like a real mine to walk through. Think that set me up to love your channel. This video today I think is my favorite. Thanks for your hard work.
I would love to take a Caveatron through some of these and see the end results. Look forward to these every week. You do such a good job with the editing, and the explanations of how these mines were created, and worked. And you're having a good time doing it. Plus, I also just love the footage of Old Bob out on the trails. I do the same with my old YJ I bought brand new when I graduated H.S. in '87.
Great drone work and glad your going back through this mine at your speed with your comments / explanations (not the 70 mph that Frank was running at last time). Can’t wait to the next week episode on those big stope areas.
Good afternoon Gly, not only are your videos a joy to watch - the cinematography is excellent, but they are also so educational. Thank-you for brightening up a rather dull day !!
Indiana Gly and the mountain of Mines...the second 360 camera adds an awesome perspective to your journey through the mines. And If a bat takes off with your helmet cam and you manage to get it back...would be some spectacular bats eye view footage😊. Awesome video Gly, thanks for taking us along for the Journey 👍
One of you best one so far (at least for this year lol). The size of the mine, the back history, and the tour where all amazing! Can't wait for new weeks installment.
Gday Gly! What an interesting mine! Enjoyed it till the end! After watching you climb up that hill mate you must enjoy a few cold beers after a trip and sleep bloody well! Great work! 🇦🇺🍺🍺
I have to say that your video work never ceases to amaze me, but that fly through of the haulage tunnel was super! And I love chipmunk mode, it give a sense of how much work you put into getting to this places to bring us this amazing videos each week. Stay safe and rock on Gly!
I recently stumbled on your channel on a trip down the rabbit hole and it is awesome! I have always been interested in mining of all kinds and I love being able to see the artifacts, old engines and equipment that have been preserved by time. Please keep explaining what you find, why it was used and how these structures were built.
GAAH! A cliff hanger!!!! I like how in this video you stopped to explain things in detail! I would love to see more of the in-depth content from you. Maybe you could do a video of a mine you’ve already done and really explain or even demonstrate the processes in great detail. Anyway, great vid and can’t wait to see the rest this Saturday. On a side note. When you do videos with Frank I think he moves way too fast, I’m much happier with your solo vids or the ones with you and Mr. M and Randy.
Nice Intro, love this stuff. Nice tunnel. Thanks for the information, explaining the inner workings. Sorry you had to climb in chipmunk mode. Gee Gly you must be part mountain goat. Nice to see just one stope.
Welcome to the Goat Channel! worth the climb to see those big-ass stopes. Very cool fly-through... interesting how straight the long tunnel runs. Imagine archaeologists 10,000 years from now, wondering what the heck primitive men were doing down inside the mountain. Glad to see the long intro again. It never gets old.
The good example of way they put a shaft in was when you went up that hill it definitely wouldn't have hurt if there was more Cow Bell in that Part he hehe Mr.M and Randy and including Frank Would get a kick out that for Sure !!! Any hue looking forward the next install of the epic Aventure!!!; )😎👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice work, get R done big guy! We all get to go with you and experiencing the wonders of this place and others that would otherwise be a mystery to me and alot of other people. Thank you 😊
yeah I do remember this mine and Frank dropping all the dirt and dust on you, but if memory serves me correctly he got pretty dirty too I remember him climbing out of that winze looking like he needed a good bath , great job showing this mine and how it worked, very interesting Gly.
I just wanted to say that this is one of your best videos and you're just getting better and better. The drone shots and editing are beautifully done. Thank you for explaining everything and for these adventures, much love my friend.👊👊👊
Thought I'd weigh in here. Thank you for wanting more Mr M! I've had a death in the family and am taking care of estate stuff, and setting up a new work shop/ studio. I'll be posting new content within a few weeks. I hope you like jokes.
Great video and flying low and it was like 3D I thought I was going to crash a few times 😆 never stop innovating. The education never stops even though the trolley had no bin are wheels we were able to see that it was a sideways tipper by looking at the undercarriage. Also keep safe as has been mentioned find a buddy to go with you. Two better than one in mines even though they can never keep up. 🤩😝
I lived in arizona and I went up into the mountains to explore abandoned mines a ton and still do when I visit. Awesome to see you checking them out too.
Wowsers! From last episode to this one, it looks like a completely different production. Very polished and professional. I really love your content and the way you deliver it. I'd love to safely explore some of these mines one day. Thanks for all of your awesome work! 🙏
Hi Gly, what a fantastic episode, I loved the chipmunk mode, very cute and funny at the same time lol. I love listening and learning about early mining and also geology, that's why I love your channel. Thank you for sharing, much love. xx ❤
Loved the fly through :) And something I noticed since I have been following the channel from the beginning. I could here on the chipmunk climb that you are in better shape now than in the early chipmunk episodes. Good on you!
What a fabulous mine, wow Gly, farking impressive. The colors in that mine were like a merangue pie. So many holes you almost don't know where to begin. I'm a geologist as well and the Arizona geology I do not know, so it's like I'm in a classroom. But the classroom is outdoors and that is the only way one can learn about the geology in these places.

Gly as always great job, but there was a shot in here I love, it was around 29:50 when you explaining the shaft. Its a cool angle and I love the lighting.
Cool flythrough. And thanks for the adding the additional mine information; one thing I miss about naming mines is digging (cough) up the nitty gritty of the mines you take us through.

Just the music at the beginning and the excellent cinematography of every video is enough to deserve a thumbs up from me! Keep it up Gly!
I agree
For sure. His work on every video is on point. Always love his videos.
That sequence you filmed flying through the mine from one side to the other is absolutely EPIC Gly!
“Gly”: Thank you!
I'm pretty sure it's a clip of somebody walking through the mine in fast forward. The point where it cuts from the drone footage is fairly obvious.

The newer quads are wonderful! Notice how it avoided that door about one third in and the timber sticking up at the exit? Very cool!
