Hello guys! In today's video, I bring you a tutorial on how to create more complex shapes without using plugins or boolean operations in 3ds Max.
The main focus is on optimizing the mesh, making it simpler and lighter.
3ds Max is a very powerful tool, although many choose to use other software these days. It is worth remembering that all the content here is for those who are taking their first steps in the 3d world.

gooooooood job thanks alot and i hope to see more
thanks bro, stay tuned for good things to come :D
Спасибо мужик! Хорошие у вас уроки
It is a useful video as it details how to create complex 3D objects using mesh smooths. I could refer to this video when modeling hard surfaces of various shapes.
Yes! thank you so much for feedback bro! Good studies! Hug
Nice tutorial 👍
thanks 🤝
thank you, i made the whole model almost step by step.
Now I will do something else :)great to learn from your tutorials. i'll be happy to show you :) . ps. it is a pity that i have an older version of max. and i don't have some of the possibilities in chamfer (14m 30 sec)
excellent! I'm glad to hear you're making progress with the videos. You can show me via instagram @igormta.
About 3ds max continue with your same version. These details you can resolve in other ways. with cut you can create the lines around the place where you will apply the chamfer and then use the edge loop with the edge constrain turned on. This way you get the same effect as the chamfer. Thanks a lot for the feedback. Success on your journey!
Personally I think this can be done more nicely in cad 3d and then move into blender for rendering
The model is simple and can be made in a number of software programs. Some prefer Blender, others Plasticity or 3ds Max, among many others. I won't go into these issues. If the end result is good, the tool is just a means.
you can use loop regularize to create circle on your polygons
Yes! I didn't have it when I made the video. But I know it would help a lot, thanks for the friendly feedback.
can you sahre all your shortcuts please?
Hi, Yes! ⤵
Target Weld Cntr Shift W
Cut Alt C
Insert Cntr G
Collaps Cntl H
Attach Cntl Shift A
hide select Alt H
Unhide select Alt U
bridge Cntl B
Ring Cntl R
Con(InsertLoops) Cntl C
connect vertice Cntl Shift E
chamfer Cntl Shift C
You are great 😊
thanks
thank you
Thanks for watching 🤝🏼
nice
thanks!!
What if I only make one half, then mirror the other half and rotate it 90 degrees, and finally weld it into a whole, will it work?😄
In theory it would be perfect. In practice, I believe there will be errors, points where the mesh will not fit 100%, when we see the model in our mind we create a perfect plan to model. In practice we realize that it is not as fast as it seemed.
im a new bee so i dont understand at 0:46 where did shell go?
hi bro, in this part i use convert editable poly. My shortcut is Ctrl + T. This is for applying the shell modifier to the object.
@@igormota3d thank you so much man started this morning and max is ripping me
@@saygncalskan3592 You're welcome. Don't worry. It's a little difficult at first, but you'll get better with the tutorials. keep going. Sucess! 😀
Hi, Can you share your max's layout file? i want to do like you xD
Hi bro thanks for watching

@@igormota3d thank you so much!
I did every step, but at 3.50min. after puting meshsmooth, its not as clean. there's a weird mesh in the middle
Hi @jeon6885, you need add the crease in the edges arround the model. After, you apply the meshsmooth. The crease is in the edit edge session, i use 1,0 in crease value. Check this
@@igormota3d thank you for your replay, I did increase the crease to 1,0 and had still the same pb. But that's fine because you deleted the meshsmooth afterward so that worked better for me 😅. Thank you so much for the video

@@jeon6885 😅😅 true. keep going!! Sucess!
in blender its like nothing but in max its everything imao
thanks for comment. blender vs max a discussion that will pierce generations 😄😄
? This can easily be done in Blender.
@@coloradoing9172 Yes. it was also easily done in max. :D
Nice try bro. But Blender is much faster in modeling, can do this model within 10 minutes...😁😁
thanks for comment bro!
مش مصدق قد اية 3دي ماكس ضعيف وغبي شىء زى دة يتعمل بسرعه وسهولة كبيرة جدا بالبرامج الحديثة
شكرا على التعليق
It from blender tutorial stop copying okay
Don't worry, soon we will have a blender tutorial on the channel. Each software has its own process and at the moment 3ds max is what I teach. keep studying bro
