Another great Recipe, I’m very impressed, I’ve taken several classes on converting to a plant based diet, you covered several good points, nutritional yeast for flavor and thickening, Turmeric with pepper for inflammation, great job, loved it! Keep them coming!

Sometimes I put a towel over the pressure release to contain any little bits that might spurt out

If you put the potatoes in before the broth you don't have to worry about the splash :)

I've been making no milk tater soup for 20 years. I put in lots of butter and spices. I'm not vegan but your recipe is similar but I don't mash my potatoes.

Can I ask why u mentioned not keeping a chopped onion on hand? What do they say? I love following u. I’ve been cooking ALOT (don’t have a choice these days😂) but I’m not a mom that cooks much

Hi Cynde Rodriguez, thanks for asking! I mentioned it because a while back there were snippets from bloggers stating that keeping a chopped onion in the fridge was not recommended. However, I do prep my veggies and keep my fridge stocked with chopped onion so that I can get cooking without a lot of prep time. In many grocery stores, you will find soup starters packed with diced onion, carrots, and celery. I personally like to keep chopped onion on hand and ready to cook in my fridge; I do make sure I am using very clean hands and clean equipment when I prep my veggies like this for fridge storage. I hope that helps! Debra :-)

The Last Minute Cook thank u. I wasn’t sure if it was a bacteria thing or not. I love the idea. Thanks!

A quick internet search for 'storing chopped onion' will give you loads of answers regarding bacteria and safe food handling. Happy cooking! Debra :-)

@@TheLastMinuteCook It's something called freezing. People buy frozen fruits and veggies all the time. Just 'freeze' the onions. I don't know why people get so deep over things that's not so deep.

Some of us can't use turmeric because we have to take blood thinning medication.

Then don't use it. Very simple. There is no recipe that will work for everyone's special diet

It blows my mind that people taste turmeric. Nothing wrong I just don't think it has a taste lol I put it in everything for that very fact. It's good for yoy and you don't don't know ots there lol
