I have to say, as the possible target audience of this brand, I wouldn’t be gravitated towards their brand by this. The combination of the black and pink created a feel that was a little cheap and slightly outdated that wouldn’t be promising if they’re selling fashion. That’s just my opinion of course. I do really appreciate your content and the amount of information you provide, it’s really admirable.
Fashion is quite broad, and this example doesn’t seem to be a billboard designed to target everyone. Therefore, I respectfully disagree on you being the possible target audience. Also, black basically represents luxury and in fashion it’s mostly used for upscale apparel rather than low quality. In my business however, we often see a lot of start-up clothing brands exploit pink. So the use of color in here could’ve been different. But overall I think this example is well executed and looks anything but dated.
You're coming up with such new and amazing videos which are so helpful for us graphic designer.Have learned many techniques and way of designing.Thankyou so much Tom❤️💫.Keep coming with these similar kind of videos.
Love this type of video walking through an actual or conceptual brief or design from start to finish. I just think it seemed like the finished product had little readability on most of the information except for the brand name. I would have personally put the website name on the pink strip. Whenever I'm riding past a billboard, I never catch the small text.
Great video. Would have liked to hear how you went from your completed design in Photoshop, to what was on the billboard mockup (model zoomed in). Also there were a few spelling errors on the screen about horizontal lines, just some feedback to pass on to your motion graphics person :)
If you want more of this kind of content, simply like and share it on social media :) That tells me and the algorithm that this is the kind of thing you want to see
Awesome! *QUESTION:* If we design a large poster in a small proportion like you've done here, won't it be pixelated when the print shops stretch it larger? I mean its fine with SVG but what about raster images? Kindly clear my confusion plz as i'm new to design and often struggle with this kind of problems as i cannot always find high resolution images to use in my designs. Thanks a lot! ❤️
Nice tips and all. But as a billboard design there is way too much, and too small text for this design to be successful. What you have here is more suited for a magazine ad.
@@SatoriGraphics I actually believe both designs aren't functional for billboards, as the secondary text and call to action is simply too small and illegible - it would not be absorbed quickly by viewers. Just because a well-known brand does it, doesn't mean it is a functional or accessible design.
I agree with these fine gents. That text is waaaay too small for a billboard. Pause the video on the billboard and then back up about 10 feet from the screen. Can you read everything on the billboard in under 3 seconds? If not then it's no bueno. The text on the Chanel ad is just as bad, the only difference is that it's slightly less verbose. I'd shorten down the subtext to "Next day delivery" and then only the URL under that, then bump all of the type up in size by at least 50%. Also, nothing to do with the design but next day shipping on bespoke tailoring is... ambitious LOL
I don't think the small text is actually readable for the average person speeding past. The name brand will be remembered but everything else is just too small.

I agree with you. It's not as simple as making a video, hence the courage. Usually projects like this would take a few weeks to execute...

I don't think the colors are cheap but the design itself looks very outdated and makes the colors feel not so great too. That's just my opinion.
My exact thoughts the whole time I watched. Though I appreciated the process insight, the research was lacking.

My pet peeve with billboards is if they use tiny text. And the final version here is doing that.
Very helpful. Thanks a lot, you're amazing
Quality content.
cheers :D
How much time did it take to make a banner until the final result? Including and excluding research before

Thanks but I disagree. If you look at 4:22 we can also see text on a Chanel billboard of a similar size

The text below the brand name isn’t going to be read. On a billboard, that’s equivalent to a novel.
Nice 🔥❤️
Thanks Malik!
Hello dear Friend greetings from Cyprus
Hello 👋
I still need to visit again some day again in the future Mario lol
I like your voice.

Wow! Your hair...
What hair lol?
Horiztonal… 🤔
I think text is tiny considering this would be seen from a long distance.
