Really interesting stuff. As car drivers we dont really appreciate the constant little adjustments and forward thinking that HGV drivers have to make when it's busy. When you're zipping along in a car slowing down and speeding up isn't an issue and some of us forget it's a bit different in an artic.
Delivered to a place called Scottow, near Norwich, called Scottow enterprise park, which turned out to literally be RAF Coltishall! Never been there before but heard about it, used to fly lightnings out of there ( not me though lol)
I know what you mean mate. You can see it coming. The BMW trying to get in front. So go for it and commit. Dont know why im watching tbh. I do it all week lmao
What's your opinion on the standard of driving in the UK? I think, over the years, it's got better, but you're on the road every day of the week, so you're a good person to ask.
I think the standard of driving amongst the masses has always been shocking. The difference is there is far more viechles on the road these days. Standards have not changed at all over the years in my opinion, theres just more of them now.
I suppose just about all artic units are automatic these days, I guess much more economical with fuel, Most of the rigids where I work are auto too, apart from this worn out D_D_DAF 6 wheeler, 500k + on the clock - not a lot really but it's done lots of short work not long distance in it's life, kept bleeping up engine faulty, exaust system faulty, but didn't give a shit really as long as it kept running! Bloody gearstick, no pattern where the gears are on it and had a range switch, so I guessed 8 speed 4 low 4 high range, clunked and whined like a bitch, worn out to buggery it was! But the day was successful! :)

Does your truck have cruise control, and if so is it adaptive, like a car? Furthermore, is that what applies the exhaust brake, or is that you?

Ahhhh nice one
You need to enable the video stabilisation when you upload. It can all be done in software with the RUclips upload settings.
15.00 totally agree with you re the BMW before you said it, speed at which he came alongside, I had sensed same thing.

Mirrors - What's behind you is what is going to happen, what's in front of you has happened already!

General Question if you had a choice to only do one, Would it be drive days, Or drive nights?
If I had to choose I would say days. Night's are a nightmare with road closures everywhere !.
