Tiny desk when? Y'all clearly have the space efficiency chops for it
Agree!
This is their application
They already have one, it's called "Lost My Treble Long Ago"
what do they need a tiny desk concert for?
a portfolio for signing up to tiny desk, actually
I’m surprised that there was enough room for Joes neck movements in there
You can tell he's trying to not hit the wall
*S T R E T C H*
Imagine opening your shed door and seeing these boys
Your profile pic is crashing into me
Anthony Buck yes sir
KATZMAN WITH THE LARRY CARLTON KID CHARLEMAGNE FINGER TAP @ 1:10!!!
After reading this along with the weird name of that triplet lick you came up with on reverb..
We can comfortably request that Cory Wong should officially start naming all the vulf records signature exotic trick shots
Why did joe still your shirt?
Ayy, I noticed that too!
@@bramlelieveldt Funk bonus
He’s got the Larry Carlton tone down pat too. Can y’all do a green earrings cover next?
Cymbals: "what is my purpose?"
Jack: "stop whining, no more government subsidies for cymbals"
(‘Cept hats)
Just leave the cymbals to the cymbal-minded.

Without them, there would have been room for another musician.
Imagine you heard a strange noise in your shed and found this.
If I found them on my warehouse, I would faint first instead of calling police
Would be the best surprise
I would cry
I’d ask for Bass lessons on the spot
"get the hell outta my shed! Leave the guitars though"
Cory to Joe: “stripes?”
Joe to Cory: “striiiiiiipes”
Peak hipster has been achieved.
Cory to Joe: “stripes?”
Joe to Cory: “¿sepirts”
I just noticed this right before I saw this comment lol
Media: Be sure to social distance
Vulf: Shed
Killing grandma never sounded so good.
Surfy VULF is an area I didn't think I needed more of.
Theo's Tone is so fUCkIn good
I hear some late-Beatle John Lennon tones from Theo's guitar. Great playing, awesome tune.
Bet it's a Hudson Broadcast
Ben it's a Fedderson Broadcast
sorry, i'm up too early
Yeah how tf does he get that tone
@@n.f.7342 im confused are u guys srs
i'm so early that Radioshacks still exist
I saw a Radioshack in Clinton, AR the other day. lol Thought I'd traveled back through time.
@@eplivingston that seems pretty Realistic
Ditto!!!
There’s still a few straggling Radioshacks, surprisingly

This is the closest we've come to getting a vulf anime intro.
MY GOD
Exactly.
I prefer Welcome to Vulf Records
@@biggusdickus8511 imho Welcome has some sitcom vibes and Radio anime vibes. So now we have two soundtrack scores from Vulfpeck, what a day
Oh god. You right about that.
I showed my wife this vid and her first words were "It probably reeks in there." She's right. It's straight-up stanky in that shed.
Its all on their faces, fortunately these are funk enhanced humans, that much concentrated funk in a small space would knock us unconscious by merely wiffing it.
That's how Theo got such a stanky tone out a 335
We used to jam in a smaller shed than that. Lousy we were, but it was stanky fun. Gas fumes, oil spills and tools all over. The good ol days.
Cymbal: Who's your favorite piece?
Jack: aw, sweety I dont have favorites.
_Jack whispers to the snare: its you, and by a lot_
THIS IS SO GOOD I WANNA CRY. HE EVEN PUT A BLANKET ON THE SNARE

Wow, a man who’s parents named him after a Vulfpeck song and a man who’s parents named him after a bass sitting next to each other playing music. It’s a miracle.
...and wearing the same shirt no less.
With sleeves at the appropriate length to represent the size of their respective guitars
You can't tell ne that's a coincidence..

And the stuff shirt
Cory owns 100 shirts, and they're all striped.
Meanwhile, Joe only needs ONE.
and where’s theos tank top?
Poor Corys only got one
woody goss is cooler than the other side of the pillow.
I once encountered one of Vulfpeck's roadies in a pub just after the concert, and he told me Woody is the one that gets most laid ahah
@@malacabezaprdctns I want to believe this is true so hard xD
Weird Japanese convenience store vibes
任天堂like
me too
Yep
For some reason, I want to hear a midi version of this as the sound track to a Sonic the Hedgehog level.
It does have that vibe.
Dude.... yes
Most definitely
Here you go, it came out this morning! ruclips.net/video/KjypmH7hGYg/видео.html
Such a good shout, no wonder i like it so much
This song plays in the soundtrack for a movie about surfers whose favorite beach is about to be taken over by some evil mega-corporation. Specifically in the montage sequence where the main characters go around convincing all of the locals to join their cause.
All as a setup for the climax where there is a big showdown between the main character and the evil CEO.
The climax features The Fearless Flyers "Ambush"
@@Jhawk_2k I need a Vulf movie now
You're right. I can picture the stop motion montage of our plucky protagonists canvassing the town to get the local shop owners on their side.
the final showdown is, inexplicably, a dance battle
sounds like a good game premise
The honour of being this early to a Vulfpeck video is immeasurable. Especially when it's such a banger of a video.
We are the few
Cory and Joe: Freshly Quaffed
Jack and Theo: Freshly Shorn
Cory and Joe: Black and White Stripes
Jack and Theo: Dark Mono Colours
Vulfpeck: Trail Rated
*coifed!
what does it mean?
Freshly Quaffed is an apropos desc
This sounds like a blend of an 80s police show theme and retro video game music with a sprinkle of anime on top. I'm so happily confused. 10/10 once again, lads.
That description describes The Go! Team as well if you like the idea of it
this is exactly what i was thinking haha. The guitar harmonies sound so anime during the synth part and the rest is totally cop show vibes.
Jack: the snare is too tight, gotta do something
Some random blanket: now this looks like a job for me
the blanket actually makes it tighter
Jishington Yang didn’t know it, thanks
The blanket is for warming up the tone+timbre
thursday 12pm: VULF TIME
every time is vulf time
VST: Vulf Standard Time
Exactly. I always get crap from my friends for being "late" sending them new Vulf. Its always 36-38 minutes after it drops, because I get off at 12:30, 6 minute walk to the car.
i have an alarm set every week to check if theyve released a new song lol
@@camerons2763 SAME. My habit every thursday at 11 pm thanks to FF release were panickly refreshing my youtube till I click on the f r e s h Vulf releasw
how the hell do I not hear more about Theo's guitar chops? Cory Wong is a star for sure but Theo kills it every time too. I will never stop singing his praises.
Theo's a great guitar player. He's also a genius singing drummer. Dude's got too much talent.
This has such a distinctive Woody feeling to it, I'm not in the least surprised that he's credited as composer
I love his compositions, the best damn chord structure ever, gr8 melodic lines too
1:13 You know it's good when the camera man can't help but bop along
Common misconception. The camera was actually held still throughout the recording. The shed itself was moving due to the sheer force of the funk it contained.
SOMEONE PLEASE CALM ME DOWN
I'm sorry man when the vulfpeck vibe starts it never ends
BUT DIDN'T YOU SEE?!? NEW VULF VID BRO
But why.
We should recognize the existence of a full drumset means more to come from the shed
Edit: as of today (dec 2021) we have a new tune from the shed
Dunno ya kno, I heard they generally write and record in the same session (the power of having so many talented song-writers in one band!). They prolly set it up then didn't bother to strip off what they don't need. Saying that, I'd be happily proven wrong :) go vulf!
I’m just really hoping that’s all.
This is probably just one part of a longer session they did in the shed
Who else has watched this thirty times.
Can’t stop watching, goddamn it
Send help... i can't stop
3 months later - still going!
@ garabbott you know it
I keep thinking, each time a new song is released “damn this is shaping up to be a really good album”
Then again this is Vulf,
What did I expect?
Why are we not talking about how amazing an engineer and producer Jack is? That he can get a live sesh to sound this clean and polished is just...priceless.
This year was going to be salvaged
But Woody Goss Had Too Much Momentum!
It's the year of the Goss people
And the Goss is hot.
gosspel. preach
Sounds preety much like some early 80s Japanese jazz-fusion. Loved it
I've showed Vulfpeck to my guitar teacher. He didn't like em.
He's not my guitar teacher anymore.
😂🤣😂🙌🏼
good call
He's not even human!
Seriously, good call.
My bass instructor was the one who introduced me to vulfpeck. Needless to say he is still my bass instructor.
Finally, a Joe Dart bassline I can play
i still cant xD
The intro reminds me a lot of the strokes - and also the clearer division of rhythm and lead guitar parts
Absolutely love this track
The outro screams the strokes to me. I guess angles Era most evidently.
seeing into the mind of woody goss now, I realise the songs he composed are some of my fav vulftracks. thank you, woody. your sound makes me jive. this one's such a blast.
Mmmm, love the added timbre of Jack’s thigh
So basically Vulfpeck dropped an anime intro theme in order to promote the vinyl compilation of Woody Goss compositions.
That's the way these lads do marketing and I'm completely aboard.
vinyl compilation of woody goss compositions sounds good
1:45 is one of my favorite ever vulf video moments. I love how you can see how well they all feel the groove by their subtle body and head movements.
Cool. We found the greatest Man Cave possible.
Loving Theo on lead guitar!!
Actually Theo's tone on this reminds me of Jeff Lynne from ELO
Can't wait for the stems so I can isolate Theo's flip flop stomps
That little finger-tapped quasi-riff is gold.
Imagine the radio shack becomes their new recording forever. Most likely won’t happen, but it would be awesome. Then they rename it the Vulf Shack
I pray for the day that I open my back shed to find Joe Dart ripping groovey basslines with the boys
knew this was gonna be a hit even before receiving the email
Love this so much
Thanks Vulf, loving it
another woody classic!
WHY IS THIS SONG NOT AVAILABLE ON SPOTIFY YET?
if you want the original search "La Femme - Antitaxi"
@@docteurfouhez I listened to it and it sounds nothing alike except that it has a "guitar" part in it 🤔
@@itsfloofles well when I heard this song of vulfpeck I was very disappointed because it's in the same tune and the bass is pretty similar
@@itsfloofles and the guitar sounds the same as the voice in La Femme's one
@@docteurfouhezfrom what I can hear the only thing similar in the bass part is that both antitaxi and radioshack are continuously 16th notes which is pretty common. Other than that the notes and "melody" in the bass part is very different. With the guitar part and the voice it's just a similar sounding "melody step" (idk music theory in English well but I'm talking about moving up or down three/four notes) which again I feel is just coincidence since it's bound to appear in songs.
While I can understand this song reminds you of Antitaxi I think it's farfetched to say it's the "original" or that it was inspired, just coincidence I think.
And to conclude I wanna say I'm not mad or ranting at you, was just interested and wanted to give my opinion on it. Music theory is interesting and was mainly curious at the resemblance ^^
Amazing as always
upon first listen this is already one of my favorite vulf tunes
Best Vulf song yet. Keep em coming.
This reminds me of The Strokes, not what I'd expect from Vulf but I love it!
This made me so happy.
Woody's compositions are so brilliant. The harmony, themes and piece construction are so thoughtful, complex and yet sound so simple and natural ! Masterpieces, always.
I didn't even notice how shaky the camera was because I found my head was bobbing the entire time.
Now, scientists are considering using these emerging quantum communication technologies shown at 1:46 to synchronize them atomic clocks
Tite
Just played this 5 times in a row. Can't get enough of this riff! 🤩
Fantastic song!
I love this one! You should turn woody up, I feel like I can barely hear him
What do I need to do to encourage a pack of Vulfs to live in my shed? Do they get along with opposums?
I love woody's songs. It always sounds so fun
I love this
Does the synth mean that vulf are officially transitioning from 60s to 70s and 80s funk ?
This is kinda B-52s
More like love shack am I right hehe
Luis Chaves hell yeah
Got a Ricky Wilson vibe from Cory
Definitely the angular surf element is there. It's a good comparison!
Woody's the one who always compose my fav vulf song💯💯
What the heck?!?! YES!!! I’m SO freakin HYPED
0:43 my face when a new vulf song hits youtube
This sounds like Sonic boss music. Also, Joey's the only one not wearing glasses.
Love it guys!
The content I need at this time and moment at all times and moments.
Damn you're the best ! Hope you'll come in France when the Shit Storm of this Corona thingy will be behind us !
Effectivement !
Joe Dart: slaps bass
Cory Wong: slaps guitar
Jack Stratton: SLAPS THIGHS
I really cant handle the level of excitement everytime i see Vulfpeck uploaded a new video! :D
SO GOOD!!!!!
Mike Viola on camera and engineering - can we expect another feature on JOM JOR?
Cory and Joe out here bein mime shirt twins
If they somehow busking as mimes I won't even notice
The hardest working bassist I've seen in a while.
SOOOO GOOD!
Does Woody’s solo remind anyone else of the theme from “Candid Camera?” (When it’s least expected / You’re elected / You’re the star today)
dmccallie Thank you! I was searching the crannies of my cranium for where that was from. Smile, you’re on candid camera!
Me too! I knew someone else would notice and jog my memory.
Jack's thigh is suffering for the sake of the beat, for all of us really
Professor goss's smiles... Priceless
Cory’s grin when Theo pulled off that tapping move is what’s so great about this band; no one is the star, everyone supports and enjoys each other.
1:13 really giving me Green Hill Zone vibes
I feel like I am fighting a Boss maybe on top of a train in a sweet SNES game
what a banger just listened to it 17 times.
100% Excellent!!!
12" tom tom: Why am I even here?
So nobody's gonna mention the fact that Jack is drumming his own leg?? Ok then...
This is exactly what I needed in my life today
