- KFC in China - It was our first time trying KFC in China. We were shocked to see how good KFC is in Beijing, China. The menu and flavour are different and we think it's much better than KFC in America or England. China might even have the most number of KFC in the world.

What is your favourite fast food? 🍟
I live in Shanghai, the Zinger Burger and Original Recipe Chicken are my must-order items every time I go to KFC.
Thai street food!
STREET FOOD
pls do a segment on the muslim street food at Niu Jie, it has a super big halal supermarket, mosque and tons of street food and restaurant
I know you left china already and it seems you still haven't tried jianbing yet! it's one of the most popular breakfast/snacks in china and very easy for anyone to eat. essentially it's a crepe with eggs, crunchy bits, aromatics, and very savory sauces. some places may put meat in it as an option but I recommend just trying the basic with just egg first. best of all, it's only around 8-12 yuan at local stalls. so next time you are in china, look for it ;)
China is a five stars country, they even have it on their flag 😂
LOL

So funny, but you tell the truth. 🤣🤣

Honestly can't using China KFC & McDonald to compare with the west.
Even the restaurant in China big, beautiful and clean is way much better than America too.
100% true.
@JerryM-wt8hl most of the establishments are filthy and trash is hidden out of sights in the corners of almost every establishment. Many gave cockroaches thriving there and other tiny critters.
I am in australia ,I do not think KFC in Australia is better than China
Our chips are better. But that's it hahah
No doubt about that 👍🏻
I just bought some yesterday here in Queensland...the chicken meat was dry and a bit tough. Quite disappointed.
@@John-yx6yz I am in Brisbane 😅
KFC in Aus sucks, there is always a taste of chicken blood in it
My goodness, even their KFC is much cleaner, larger, and better furnished than the ones in the US.
This was a fancy KFC we loved it 🥰
I went to KFC in Shanghai many times 🤣 the FRIES at KFC in China are too much better than the UK!
No way aha, I love KFC in UK too stop it haha. 😂❤ you just need to find the right one. But yes I bet China have good menu KFC there extra hot 🔥 and have Chinese menu in KFC. but I never rule out UK. UK still can produce good quality KFC mmm 🎉😂❤
Wait I follow your channel xD you still in China teaching? UK your country has some down side but don't forget the legendary Britain did left legacy all over the world thanks to Britain China and world kinda prosper lol. English language are international... Thanks to your country China are better now, they using English language well in China. Not backward USA 😂 😂 😂

Agreed 👍🏻

Fun fact:
There are more KFCs than McDonald's in China. To be exact, KFC has ~8100 outlets and McDonald's has ~5500.
Lol 😂❤
fkc/mcd almost in every corner in china... 🤣
That’s incredible 🥰
Your information is out of date.
In Dec 2023, KFC opened its 10,000th China store in Hangzhou.
@@amandagrant4331 oh my gosh
We tried KFC back in 2018 in Beijing and honestly it was one of the best KFC we had compared back home in Australia.
Chinese is definitely better than England and America for sure 👍🏻
It’s definitely best KFC in China. I’m in Australia. I don’t eat KFC here. 😅
I tried KFC China once many years ago, I still remember those chicken meat are more juicy than other regions...
Maybe because they brined the chicken properly and the cooking temperature was spot on.
western fast food chains are usually better because of stricter food regulation and they can't really half ass it because there's so much food option also.
The quality of chicken in China is much better than the west! There are Chinese chicken from some Chinese cities such as 龍崗 清遠etc already being raised in Canada. They are delicious, the meat is so tender juicy and delicious!
Chinese food is amazing and so much better in China.
??? Is there anywhere else in the world that has better Chinese food than China?
Absolutely 👍🏻
You guys truly rock and know where to go. KFC in China is different to the rest of the world however you forgot to order Portuguese Egg Tarts which in my opinion is the second best in China.
We didn’t see it on the menu but now we’re sad we missed it haha ☺️
In some places there aren't self service machines because there's usually a QR code on the table (or next to the physical menu) and you can order from your phone.
Yes so true! We couldn’t make it work though but lots of others did haha 😛
You are at tianjin! No wonder the kfc is volleyball themed. Tianjin bohai bank volleyball club has been the champion of china volleyball league for quite several years
Thanks for explaining ☺️
You two really know how to have fun.
I see you have a five-star flag in your avatar. In case you don't know, China lost a lot of territory under the five-star flag. South Tibet was gobbled up by India under the CCP's watch.
也就几万平方公里,最大的问题是台湾,其他算小问题@@PomegranateChocolate
@@user-tc1xu6ow4d Little problem? South Tibet is larger than the state of South Carolina. Area of South Carolina is 82,931 km². Area of Taiwan is 36,197 km². South Tibet is more than twice the area of Taiwan.
@@user-tc1xu6ow4d The problem is not Taiwan. The problem is the CCP. The CCP actually try to cede South Tibet to India but India took the land without signing a border treaty because India wants more land. This is the reason the CCP has been keeping its people in the dark because the truth shines a very bad light on the CCP. The ROC has been sending repeated diplomatic protest to India before 1949. Once the CCP seized power it stops all diplomatic protests to India and even attempt to concede South Tibet to India.
@@user-tc1xu6ow4d South Tibet is extremely lush and rich in biodiversity. The blue sky white sun flag was flying high in Tawang until 1949. Today the Indian flag is flying in Tawang. Tawang is the Sixth Dalai Lama's birthplace and home to the four hundred years old Tawang Monastery.

To be honest libby and Taz are the best match and u guys are very kind and respectful as u said everyjne has their own ways of eating the chicken and u don't have any objections about it👏👏🔥

When you were shooting the video, you should still have been in Tianjin. Tianjin is my hometown, so let me tell you why there is a volleyball-themed KFC. The women's volleyball team in Tianjin is very famous, winning the national championship for 10 consecutive years. People in Tianjin love volleyball and support their women's volleyball team. That's why there is a volleyball-themed restaurant in Tianjin. Additionally, if there is a Tianjin women's volleyball team match, the big screen downstairs at this KFC will broadcast the game. People choose to gather here to watch the match together, explaining the specific seat design and scoreboard. I hope you have a great time in China.
Ahhh ok that makes so much sense!! Thank you for explaining ☺️
In China's KFC and McDonald's, you don't have homeless people and drunkards, and way more cleaner than what you find in the US and UK.
true
But KFC and McDonald's in some big Chinese cities (especially next to train stations) have a lot of people staying over because they don't want to pay for a hotel to sleep in, and they're open 24 hours or free WiFi.
Honey, I have been living in some very big cities such as Beijing and I never find what you said.@@HackerHacker-bh2xv

KFC in China has been improved with Chinese characteristics and is definitely different from those abroad.
We like KFC in China 🇨🇳
if you guys get a chance to travel to southern China like Guangzhou or Shenzhen, make sure to try the Dim Sum style chicken feet, I'm pretty sure you guys will love them!
We would really love to! ☺️
I have been watching your China series because I used to live in China and totally miss it. 2 things. (1) you should have ordered the Old Beijing Wrap at KFC. It's my favorite. And if they still have the iced coffee float - GET IT! But be sure to order it without ice (bu yao bing kuai). (2) Your favorite boba place - Mixue - is pronounced more like "Me Shway". It means honey ice.
Good to know! Thanks for the tips ☺️☺️
@@sunkissedbucketlistalso order common drink bubble milk tea or boba. We can get it in London but it's not cheap. So have a go at China should be common and cheap there like in Malaysia common too 😊
oh you should try the Portuguese tart from KFC in China!!!
Don’t think they had any left when we got there haha 😛
chicken feet is kind of acquired taste. main thing is you have to be ok in your head about eating it. it has a lot of collagen which is good for your skin, bones, and even heart health. of course you don't eat the bones 😅. just eat around it and if prepared well has a soft jelly texture. I know that texture is not for the western palate so that's why I mentioned acquired taste. honestly I would only eat chicken feet one way - dim sum style which is steamed in a soy based sauce.
It's actually not acquired taste. It is natural taste. The west has a dis-quired palate.
100% agree
Well it was quite an experience and we’re glad we tried 🥰👍🏻
@@sunkissedbucketlist 来广东可以试试猪蹄了
You two are a cute & entertaining couple.
Chicken feet are popular amongst Asian communities for the cartilage & "springy-ness" of the feet skin. It's supposed to be rich in collagen.
The way you eat it is to bite off a piece & use your chew and tongue to remove the cartilage and skin from the bone in your mouth and "spit" out the "cleaned" bone (like removing fish bones from the fish meat in your mouth).
Ah thank you! And thanks for sharing, we’ll try again and eat it the right way this time haha ☺️
Customization of menus to cater to local tastes.
KFC was the first to enter the Chinese mainland fastfood
market from the 70s.
Believe it or not, the entire ops for Chinese mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macao regions (aka Greater China) is under Yum! China (formerly part of Yum Global) under Alibaba Group founder and Yunfeng Capital CEO Jack Ma.
Yum China also holds the master franchise of Pizza Hut, Subways, Taco Bell and Dairy Queen for the Greater China region
Every time I watch your vdo makes me feel hungry….😮😅😂
😂
Time to go to your nearest KFC now haha 😛
In Canada, the pieces of chicken at KFC are so small that you wonder if they're really parts of a pigeon. 🐦 There's no ice cream at KFC Canada.
The PFK from Quebec is the same. I'm wondering if Quebec is the only place where KFC is called another name , lol
Ice cream is never available in the UK either lol 😂
KFC chicken in Ontario should be called chicken nuggets with bones. I refuse to eat at KFC here anymore when all the other fried chicken establishments serve normal sized pieces of chicken.
The KFC chicken in Singapore are really small too ! A far cry from the size they used to be in the 1970’s .
China has the best KFC and macdonalds in the world Nice one guys you guys need more of China videos to my home town hong kong mate happy new year 🎉 to you guys
I bet, but I prefer the original KFC mmm 🎉😂❤

Kfc is operated independently by Yum!China (NYSE: YUMC
SEHK: 9987) in China. In theory, it is actually a different company from other KFCs in the world.😂😂
You two have the cutest personalities. Really enjoy watching your videos in China.
Aww thanks 🤩
I think the breed of chicken used in China is different than the ones in other countries. During my time as student in Canada i had missed the chicken meat in China soooo much😂😂😂
Most likely that is true ☺️
OK! Regarding chicken feet:
1) In KFC the chicken feet have bones, don't eat the bones. You only eat the skin and meat around the bones. Chinese eat it for the collagen.
2) In some night market, chicken feet are deboned.
3) There are many ways chicken feet are prepared. My favourite is sweet and sour with lots of spicy chilies.
Thank you for sharing ☺️
Are you in Tianjin? Tianjin is my hometown. I hope you guys have a good time.😊
i highly agree. KFC is beijing than than the KFC in my home state Florida. I also got food poisoning from the KFC in the USA
Oh no 😟
This is KFC looks in China? It's much fancier than the ones in US for sure . I want to try it myself next time I am in China. Thanks for sharing
This sport theme I think is just peculiar to Tianjin, not all KFCs in China look this fancy.
Yes, it is! ☺️
I am Chinese. Not every KFC restraunt in China is so fancy like this one in Tianjin But most of KFC menu in different China city should be similar . China KFC should rock among the worldwide KFC in terms of taste, decoration ,etc. For your reference, there are the small playground in some China KFC. It is unbelieveable .Yum will not decouple from China although American politician claimed .
Kfc in indonesia is also clean, but wow the china's one is just levels above

Actually there is digital ordering, it's just on your phones in an app instead of on some big touchscreen in the restaurant. There are some fast food branches that do have those touchscreen menus, but they're more common in Hong Kong and Macau, or for self-checkout at convenience stores and supermarkets.
Ahh ok that makes sense! We couldn’t download the app on our phones ☺️
I follow several travel bloggers and you are my favorite. You guys are so emotionally stable and positive, and you do your homework before you shoot, and you respect local customs. We viewers are really worried about the expiration of our visas. Maybe you can talk about the rest of the schedule in the next video. About chicken feet, you don't have to eat them if you're not used to eating them. In fact, there is a snack called boneless chicken feet that can be purchased in snack stores. The lemon removes the fishy smell, and the chicken feet are boneless. Packaged in small bags, it is very convenient to eat. One idea for the shoot was to explore Chinese snack shops such as HotMaxx to evaluate various snacks in China. I wish more brands would sponsor you. We look forward to more Tours and videos from you in China.
Thank you for your kind comment! We wanted to try something new so we decided to try the chicken feet ☺️
Emotional stable 😂 😂 😂. Reason most people like what people don't realise British is the origin of English language and not from America. They speak fluents English without any problem just natural for them. Before I left Malaysia and live permanent in UK I used to think USA and this and that is because USA news blocking UK all the time. I didn't know UK exist till I move to UK. now I know. So please American stop cock blocking 😂 😂 😂. British rule the world not American 😂 😂 😂. That's why longer I live in UK the less I watch American stuff now adays. Sorry American don't get offended it's the truth. American accent is just doesn't sound nice at all bro this and bruh that 😂 😂 😂 I do like some of the American stuff but I control what I've watch now prefer local British accent sound fluents program and news and beautiful that's why lots of Asian people and other races adore British people and accent. Am I right ladies and gent? 😊😊😊
Even McDonald's China is much better than America with more varieties and cleanliness and better meat cooking techniques. North American KFC is too oily and less clean.
@JerryM-wt8hl you are not only ignorant but stubbornly fool. North American fast food socks big time.
The volleyball theme is because KFC China is heavily involved in professional sports sponsorships, including volleyball teams
Ah ok thanks ☺️
No matter the taste. Only the interior already made me feel chinese KFC is much better. soo clean, the design is far from boring.
The theme was pretty cool 😎
Sriracha chili sauce and ketchup mix is also very good. There is actually a fair amount of veggies on the chicken burger, unlike in America, where there is only a small piece of lettuce.

By revenue alone, KFC is more of a Chinese company than an American one. KFCs business in China is the largest amongst all countries
China makes many American companies very wealthy, but still the American government tries to destroy Chinese companies. China buys the USA's cars, but the USA is now trying to ban China's EVs. Even Germany is trying to ban China's EVs even though German carmakers make most of their sales in China.
Yup, KFC in China is bigger than the whole Yum! around the world combined. Unreal
i know you guys are in hongkong, go try the chikenfeet in chinese resturant!!!!
Both KFC and McDonald's in China are directly managed and operated by Chinese capital, and they are also direct Chinese shareholders of two foreign catering companies.

Usually you pick the meat off the bones of the chicken feet. Picking it off the bone is the whole fun of it! This said, that dry batter fried chicken feet doesn't look very easy to eat. If you want actual delicious chicken feet, always go for the dim sum style. It's just so much more soft, flavorful, and so much easier to eat.
