western media lies are so profound and wide spread that many westerners are realizing they have been duped, and in many countries in EU people no longer trust their medias nor govts especially in the U$ and UK.
according to BBC, CNN, VOA, or whatever bullshitting western media, if they are tibetan people, they've been forced to dance in public to show a fake appearance that CCP keeps everything at peace; if they weren't, that was outrageous cultural appropriation, zero respect to tibetan people and their culture, lol
You guys are the best travel youtubers I've watched, with positive vibes and attitudes to everything, not judging or criticizing the country. I'll watch you guys just for the positivity, thank you!
In fact, the honking horns on the road are those electric bicycles that deliver food. They need to deliver on time, so they are less patient. It is difficult to manage the honking of those electric bicycles. Cars don't honk.
Mostly because the e-bike do not have well regulated, while there are some strict rules about the cars, they are required not to use the horn and should give way to pedestrians or they will get a ticket, but for e-bikes, they don't. However, it provide an affordable and convenient way of traffic, so the gov takes a complicated attitude toward them, because once you put strict rules on them, they will feel unfree and make some complaints, I think that's why the e-bikes are a little bit troublesome in the city.
These electric scooter should not be categorized as bike because they are silent, fast, do not follow the rule and dangerous. The horn should be replaced with bicycle bell so they do not make very annoying noise. They are the menace of the cities in China anywhere, the food delivery service should not make its workers and pedestrians die in road accident
The noodles shop you guys went in is halal restaurant, the lady is wearing a Muslim headscarf. The dancing in the park was Tibetan, they were wearing Tibetan clothing. They looked they were really enjoying themselves 😊
Shanghai, like other cities in China, is dangerous at night, because all kinds of delicious restaurants, barbecues, milk tea shops are open until late. Going out at night will spend lots of money of your pocket and make you gain a lot of weight at night😢.
Next, you should go to Hong Kong for one to two weeks, and then re-enter mainland China to apply for a 144-hour visa again. This time, I recommend you to visit other cities such as Chongqing, Xi'an, and Chengdu.😁There are still many places in China waiting for you to visit and experience.

@@sunkissedbucketlist You see that China has a large number of electric vehicles because more than 20 years ago, China joined the International Green Plan, which was led by countries around the world. Over 20 years later, China transformed a desert and developed the world's greenest industries, including electronic payments and business processing. the accommodation is more expensive compared to where? I just booked the Radisson Collection right in downtown for 95€ a night for next week. In big US cities you'll pay 400€ if you do that for something compareable, in Europe at least 200€, in London it would be 350€. Every Hotel I looked at was very affordable.
I believe that the "chicken" thing you guys were puzzling was actually tofu skin, a by-product of making soy milk or tofu. You can try your luck to get this stuff in stores in Chinatowns. BTW, this thing needs to be soaked for a few hours to get soft again, cut into whatever size, boil them for 60 seconds, then do whatever you like to them.
I totally understand why you were so confused by the name of that milk tea. If you translate "鸭屎香" into English, it will be "the flagrance of duck feces". But it's actually a kind of tea with a unique smell that's totally unrelated to any kind of excrement. It gets its notorious name because it grows in a kind of yellow soil that looks a lot like duck shit. People might have found the contrast of its good smell and the desgusting look of soil that grows it really fascinating so they decided make it into a big selling point.
@@sunkissedbucketlist the other story i heard when i was in shanghai was that the farmer naming it called it duck sht so people wouldn't steal the leaves. anyways fun part of getting the drinks were the cartoon ducks on the packaging haha

I think you can go to Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province and Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province. You can take the high-speed rail to these places. It won't take long. the dish you had is not chicken, it is tofu.
I promise you shanghai has more to offer🥰you can definitely find so many more stunning malls and parks cuz even my city,a third tier city in China, has so many stunning malls and parks.have a nice trip! you guys are so sweet and your vids are so good!welcome to explore more🥰
I’ve loved watching you guys exploring my new home the last few days. Glad you made it to my neighbourhood, Xuhui (French concession). It really is a beautiful place!
In Shanghai, you should try soup dumplings and Fried Pork Buns, those are signature local food. By chance that the restaurants that you have been showing are Muslim restaurants, they serve food from China's Northwestern region, they are pretty good as well, but Shanghai is not known for those.
Hi Taz and Libby. @16:05 -The side dishes are Chinese smashed cucumber salad and fresh soy sticks (chicken it is not 🤣)with red and green pepper. Wish I were back in Shanghai partaking in the gastronomic delights!
1:52 The first item refers to a hot milk tea made with what is known as “Duck Shxt Fragrant” tea leaf, which is becoming quite popular becuase of its perculiar name!
Nanjing has most of that Giant Phoenix trees that are lining the roads, forming a canopy in the Spring. Come back to China during spring time and visit those cities around Shanghai, such as Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Wuzhen et. they have more culture, history and nature than Shanghai.

beautiful video, by far now haters that saying it's a ccp propaganda or being paid for are getting lesser due to more youtubers showing the real stuff in China.
Even if one don't know a single thing about China, a normal person with sone sense of judgement and common sense would know that the western propaganda cannot be believed. If i caught them lying just one time, i would not believe a single thing they say, let alone it is so easy to catch them lying red handed.
We’re trying to show everyday life in Shanghai without any bias or prejudice, we’ve had an amazing time in China and would love to come back to explore more 😊😊
To further explore Shanghai, I sincerely recommend West Nanjing Road (differ from the east Nanjing road you have visited for several days) where you can see the biggest Starbucks in the world (maybe the second biggest now) and many other interesting shops there. In addition to the West Nanjing Road, I will strongly recommend the New World of Shanghai where you will see the mixture of old school buildings with modern shops. There are also quite many bars and restaurants there, you can feel a totally different vibe of Shanghai.
16:06 in china, they like to have cold dishes (known as 'liang cai' in chinese) at the start of the meal. the ones you have are cucumber salad (very common cold dish across china) and tofu skin in chilli sauce
Thanks for showing us Shanghai, as Shanghainese, I haven't seen lots of those things and places. Btw, notice everywhere beautiful malls are quiet and not many people? this is because most people get used to online shopping, like Tao Bao and Pin Duo Duo, it's killing the malls, yes, and things online are so much cheaper and wider range than actual stores. Unfortunately, that's the reality, but I still like malls, and Shanghai has the best malls in the world, safe and clean as well.
Start taxing the hell out of those giant e-commerce you mentioned. In theory, having goods sent to your door should be more expensive than you going out to buy it yourself because you have to pay the delivery service. Any country that allows its giant e-commerce run out of control will kill its retail businesses, in the end it will kill the economy. People go to mall to eat these days, other businesses will die, this is happening worldwide, I am surprised China did not do anything about it.
Oh also! You should also give a visit to Harbin ice and snow world! Which is the world's biggest ice and snow theme park with ice sculptures and lights! Its super cold but also a fantastic attraction
Fun fact about Build Your Dreams (or BYD), they used to make most of the lithium batteries from back in the 90s and 2000s that were used in those old Nokias that seemed to never run out of charge :). They are basically a battery company that decided to make electric cars
You guys should do more homeworks before visiting China next time cause China has 5000 years of history. I was in Shanghai two months ago, and walked the same park (11:00 in the video) and the shopping mall cross street that's much better than your video at the end. The dance you saw was Tibet style dance. Also you should go a little bit 200M west that's the famous Shanghai Conservatory of Music, that area is soooo beautiful. The beef noodle store is like Halal style usually the owner is Muslim. Usually these kinds restaurant are serving the tourists but not local people. If you did more homework, you would find the real Shanghai food is 3 times better. In many aspects (like you took film freely in shopping mall), Shanghai is more open than many western countries. Anyway it's nice to see you were happy in Shanghai, there is so safe for everyone comparing to where I live in US.
Visited a number of places .... recommend the following: 1. Beijing (imperial palace/summer palace, the great wall (hiking exp was unique, awesome view) 2. Xi'an (the terracotta army) 3. Yellow mountain (also called Huangshan) Briefly visited suzhou before my flight back to States. gardens there beautiful. @@sunkissedbucketlist

@Sun Kissed Bucket List 1:56 "鸭屎香 or duck shit aroma" is the name of a kind tea leaf, it is a breed of oolong Tea. have nothing to do with duck or shit. The tea plant is grown on white yellowish soil which kind of looks like duck shit, and the tea leaf is shaped like a duck paws, hence the name duck shit aroma.
After experiencing the city in China, I recommend you to explore these places: Yangshuo Guilin, Zhangjiajie, Aba in west Sichuan, Yunnan Dali, Xinjiang and Tibet🎉
"duck shit" is a kind of tea, It is because this tea was very expensive and precious, the merchant do not want be robbed when they are carrying them, so they tell others they carrying "duck shit"(I don't believe the thief will believe this statement), but anyway, it has its name. I would translate it as "Golden Hot milk tea" and use the "duck shit tea" as the ingredients. Hope this will help you to understand this word. To be honest, I was shock by this name too, and I once thought it was something like 'cat shit coffee' hahaha, but it is just a name. If you are still in Shanghai, try Lele Cha, and Hey tea, they are more popular with young people there.
The French concession is the place where I think you even SHOULD get lost, bc you just look at all the shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants rather than the street names. Every turn you make just opens up even more of it and before you know it, you are lost 😂 I just loved taking strolls there, doesn’t even matter what season❤ Btw: the number of coffee shops in Shanghai right now is already over 9000
Please use the term "Jing'an Business District" instead of "French Concession". You can call this area whatever you like in private, but please do not post this phrase on public online platforms. Thank you.
The light yellow soft food you eat in noodle shops is called "yuba". It is a food made from soybeans. It has a higher protein content than meat and is rich in nutrients. Because there is no such food in Europe and the United States, the cooking method is very close to tofu and the ingredients are the same, so the shop owner tells you that it is tofu.

We wanted to join in but didn’t wanna ruin their dance because we didn’t know the steps haha 😊
If you go to parks you will see a lot of dances going and you just join them to have fun, you will be very welcome!@@sunkissedbucketlist
I believe that the "chicken" thing you guys were puzzling was actually tofu skin, a by-product of making soy milk or tofu. You can try your luck to get this stuff in stores in Chinatowns. BTW, this thing needs to be soaked for a few hours to get soft again, cut into whatever size, boil them for 60 seconds, then do whatever you like to them.
and Shanghai is just 1 of many cities in China... now imagine China....that is crazy!!!!
That is very smart haha yet very delicious 🥰
yes is actually a kind of Chinese oolong tea. It tastes more like honeysuckle.Smells like honey.@@sunkissedbucketlist
The tea real name is 银花香。凤凰单枞有很多品种,真正的凤凰单枞像香水一样好喝香甜。有机会可以试试真正的茶,而不是奶茶。那味道会让你终身难忘。欢迎来到中国。@@sunkissedbucketlist
@@sunkissedbucketlist the other story i heard when i was in shanghai was that the farmer naming it called it duck sht so people wouldn't steal the leaves. anyways fun part of getting the drinks were the cartoon ducks on the packaging haha
that’s Tibetan dance, people wear their traditional Tibetan cloths❤
The swirly escalator is so cool! Never seem anything like this before either
that’s what we thought 😛
What a great video! Really enjoyed
Everyone there is so well dressed. What a beautiful country. Thanks for sharing.
Very stylish 🥳
China is so attractive and fascinating. Its colourful culture 5000 years long history language wisdom arts diverse ethnic groups the ancient silk road. Now super fast development transformation excellent leadership and competent governance. Modern safe clean friendly efficient modern infrastructures superb scenic destinations cultural and food experience. A pleasant much desired place to be. Thanks for the story. 🔥❤🇨🇳
I think you can go to Nanjing, the capital of Jiangsu province and Hangzhou, the capital of Zhejiang province. You can take the high-speed rail to these places. It won't take long. the dish you had is not chicken, it is tofu.
That sounds cool 😊
shanghai is on another level ! wow
Shanghai city very2 nice...i like looking your video walking...🚶♂️🚶♂️🚶♂️
I promise you shanghai has more to offer🥰you can definitely find so many more stunning malls and parks cuz even my city,a third tier city in China, has so many stunning malls and parks.have a nice trip! you guys are so sweet and your vids are so good!welcome to explore more🥰
Thank you ☺️
谢谢你们带我去上海参观❤我去上海都没有这么深度观摩😮
Delicious drinks, foods, and the shopping mall was huge.
each street in Shanghai is named after a city / province in china. and welcome to my hometown!
The colorful Tibetan park dance looks magnificent!!
In the evening, please go to Xintiandi, or ride a bicycle in Pudong to experience the bicycle paths along the river, which are very beautiful.
Well said , thank you to put this series out , Lot of information
We’re glad you enjoyed it and found it useful 😊
I’ve loved watching you guys exploring my new home the last few days. Glad you made it to my neighbourhood, Xuhui (French concession). It really is a beautiful place!
We had so much fun there 🥳
16:50, that "chicken" is beancurd roll, another form of processed bean products, a very popular food ingredient in china
Delicious 😋
it is! the one you had is a cold side dish, kinda like a appetizer, you may also find it in hot pot or stirred dishes.@@sunkissedbucketlist
In Shanghai, you should try soup dumplings and Fried Pork Buns, those are signature local food. By chance that the restaurants that you have been showing are Muslim restaurants, they serve food from China's Northwestern region, they are pretty good as well, but Shanghai is not known for those.
We don’t eat pork so there’s a few bit we won’t be trying ☺️
17:30 the yellow little things u eat is called 腐竹 made of beans and super popular iin many cities of China😅
Hi Taz and Libby. @16:05 -The side dishes are Chinese smashed cucumber salad and fresh soy sticks (chicken it is not 🤣)with red and green pepper. Wish I were back in Shanghai partaking in the gastronomic delights!
It was so delicious we were so shocked haha! 😝
As a Chinese,I need to say thank you 🎉
Hi guys, that food was amazing I know I would've loved it. Take care and stay safe.
在中国不需要担心安全
It was some of the best food we’ve ever tried in our lives 🥰🥰
It is Lanzhou ramen .@@sunkissedbucketlist
Safety is the last thing you should worry in China. It is THE safest
safe 是中国最大的特色,小偷和抢劫几乎都没有好吗
1:52 The first item refers to a hot milk tea made with what is known as “Duck Shxt Fragrant” tea leaf, which is becoming quite popular becuase of its perculiar name!
16:20 That's 腐竹, according to google, it can be translated to yuba, or dried dried bean curd sticks
My Lady Libby.. love you're smile, thanks for the video!!
Thanks bro ✌🏻
Great video! Love to see more content about China!
Stunning China....just beautiful...thank you 😅😅❤❤
Nanjing has most of that Giant Phoenix trees that are lining the roads, forming a canopy in the Spring. Come back to China during spring time and visit those cities around Shanghai, such as Hangzhou, Suzhou, Nanjing, Wuxi, Wuzhen et. they have more culture, history and nature than Shanghai.
Shanghai has some fantastic food!
in the old days, most high end designer malls were located in west nanjing road, there are a few in xujiahui and a few in zhongshan park.
thank you both for showing us your experiences in shanghai indeed a huge city i loved it that so call chichen you both thought actualy was the cream of tofu dried tofu i used to eat a lot as a child full of protein and cheap fo big family diner million of differente food in china varies from places to places depending on local produces and religions we learn every day in china never bored i loved your shows
that food you guys thought it was chicken is actually is made from soy bean, called "fuzhu",when the soy bean soup surface get dry,the kind of Condensate made this .like dry toufu
16:02 Aren't those yellow things fried tofu strips? You can make it in slightly different ways - some soft, others with a firmer texture.
Yes! So good 😊
That thing is tofu skin. It’s the top coagulated layer when you cool down the boiled soy milk, then you air dry it.
beautiful video, by far now haters that saying it's a ccp propaganda or being paid for are getting lesser due to more youtubers showing the real stuff in China.
Even if one don't know a single thing about China, a normal person with sone sense of judgement and common sense would know that the western propaganda cannot be believed. If i caught them lying just one time, i would not believe a single thing they say, let alone it is so easy to catch them lying red handed.
We’re trying to show everyday life in Shanghai without any bias or prejudice, we’ve had an amazing time in China and would love to come back to explore more 😊😊
@@sunkissedbucketlist Pls come back to stay longer and do more veideos!I'm you new fan from China.
that is tibetan dancing traditional tibet dance style and the food you mentioned like chicken is kind of tofu
豆腐皮或叫腐竹
Read as 'Fu Zhu'
It tasted soooo good and that dance was really cool ☺️
It’s the Tibetans in Shanghai who dance the traditional Tibetan dance-Guozhuang Dance.
Thanks for the tips ☺️
16:06 in china, they like to have cold dishes (known as 'liang cai' in chinese) at the start of the meal. the ones you have are cucumber salad (very common cold dish across china) and tofu skin in chilli sauce
West Nanjing Road is a nice place to visit 😄
I withdraw my words ,I just watched your Day 3 in French Concession . Your traveling vlog is so intersting and amazing
Now when traveling in China, there are English tips everywhere, which is so convenient.

Thanks for the tips!
The Tibetans dancing in park made me so happy.
Fun fact about Build Your Dreams (or BYD), they used to make most of the lithium batteries from back in the 90s and 2000s that were used in those old Nokias that seemed to never run out of charge :). They are basically a battery company that decided to make electric cars
BYD is the world's 3rd market-cap car company, worth about 130 billion USD. They make really good EVs.
Anyway it's nice to see you were happy in Shanghai, there is so safe for everyone comparing to where I live in US.
yeah, I feel they missed lots of great places
Both restaurants we showed only had locals in them 🤷🏼♀️
You both are so lovely.
Ah thanks ☺️
17:00 The food you eat is tofu skin and ramen.~~~You know, tofu and tea both come from China.Japanese ramen also originated from China.
@ 16:20, the yellow food is called 腐竹 in Chinese, or "Tofu skin" in English. It is made of tofu.
12:17 It's Tibetan dance
What a lovely could 😊
Thanks 🤩
Thanks for sharing. Will definitely try to visit Shanghai before my 10 year visa expires.
Where have you spent most of your time in China?
Visited a number of places .... recommend the following:
1. Beijing (imperial palace/summer palace, the great wall (hiking exp was unique, awesome view)
2. Xi'an (the terracotta army)
3. Yellow mountain (also called Huangshan)
Briefly visited suzhou before my flight back to States. gardens there beautiful. @@sunkissedbucketlist
You two met Zang ethnic who are dancing, mainly are in Xizang(Tibet) and met Hui ethnic, Muslim, who cook the noodle for you.
Great 😊
I like these type of Vlogs! Very watchable walk through of a city.
Glad you enjoyed! ☺️
Haha another northwestern style meal😂 the beef noodle is quite authentic tbh
We loved it 🥰
Hallo Taz and Libby enjoy your trip in China. Very nice video👍
Thank you 🤩
As a Chinese international student going to studying abroad in the US, I am glad that the IAPM you visited is where my parents working. Hope you enjoy the trip and you can pay the visit again and Chinese citizens are always welcome those who doesn't spread false information for them🥳
What do your parents do for work there ? 😊
My parents are financial managers. There are many international companies near the IAPM shopping mall so most of the employees there are well paid.😄@@millertang8963
That's great! 😁
@Sun Kissed Bucket List
1:56 "鸭屎香 or duck shit aroma" is the name of a kind tea leaf, it is a breed of oolong Tea. have nothing to do with duck or shit. The tea plant is grown on white yellowish soil which kind of looks like duck shit, and the tea leaf is shaped like a duck paws, hence the name duck shit aroma.
happy to see your guys enjoy my home town much will back next month 6yrs first time😂
After experiencing the city in China, I recommend you to explore these places: Yangshuo Guilin, Zhangjiajie, Aba in west Sichuan, Yunnan Dali, Xinjiang and Tibet🎉
Thank you for the suggestions 🥰
couldn't agree more
"duck shit" is a kind of tea, It is because this tea was very expensive and precious, the merchant do not want be robbed when they are carrying them, so they tell others they carrying "duck shit"(I don't believe the thief will believe this statement), but anyway, it has its name.
Ahhh that’s such a great story ☺️
The French concession is the place where I think you even SHOULD get lost, bc you just look at all the shops, boutiques, cafés and restaurants rather than the street names. Every turn you make just opens up even more of it and before you know it, you are lost 😂 I just loved taking strolls there, doesn’t even matter what season❤
Btw: the number of coffee shops in Shanghai right now is already over 9000
We had so much fun exploring the bustling neighbourhood and quite honestly didn’t mind getting lost, it was so cool 😊
@gjrbbyes, there was in southern and southwestern parts of old shanghai.
Please use the term "Jing'an Business District" instead of "French Concession". You can call this area whatever you like in private, but please do not post this phrase on public online platforms. Thank you.
just chill buddy. there are signs on some buildings that says the the original french concession blah blah. it was part of the history, so be it.
@@TheLinamaso be my ass. The building is from the past not now. Would you mind if I call you by your great grandma’s name?
beautiful cuople great video!!!!
Thank you 🤩
12:20 Tibetan dance. Uyghur dance is also popular.
The yellow one is bean curd, but bean curd also has a few different types, and you are having this beef noodle food shop owned by a Muslim
great video.
Thank you ☺️
