I have a lot of love for Pastor Vlad, I had left the Catholic church and was protestant for a few years. I was looking for biblical churches and stumbled on his deliverance ministry, and I followed some of his deliverance prayers. It helped me push some temptations out that had been clinging to me and I couldn't shake them until then. But I kept having difficulties, and that's when the RUclips algorithm gave me videos on Catholic exorcism. Having watched a ton of Catholic excorcism interviews and them all saying Confession was better than 100 excorcisms or deliverance ministry I went back to the Catholic Church. It's been amazing. Confession is such a blessing for spiritual warfare. So thank you, Vlad, for helping me get home to the Catholic church.
@CatholicTruthOfficial my pleasure, pls pray for us. The Bishop's office just approved for my wife and I to be sacramentally married for this upcoming week 😀, our four little ones are excited. God is good.
i am so glad you had the courage to come back . most people stay protestant because their ego hurts .Catholic church is the only true holy church founded christ.
I am a Chaldean Catholic part of the Eastern Rite. I love how you defend the truth and defend the Church and its true history. I used to encounter many anti-Catholics, and also protestants who are in opposition to the Catholic Church throughout my life, but lately, I only see them on social media. Thank you for always being a witness. ✝️
@@CatholicTruthOfficial God bless you brother. My first and second cousin are both young Chaldean priest. Thought I might share that with you. They are on fire for the Lord. It’s always awesome to find holy and happy priest.
I’ve noticed Protestants always leave out the next part of that verse that says “I will give you the keys to my kingdom, whatever you bind on Earth will be bound in heaven and whatever you loose on Earth will be loosed in heaven.”
@@BasiliscBaz every time Ive seen a Protestant video trying to explain the “on this rock I will build my church” they stop there and leave out the keys to the kingdom, EVERY time. Even if Petra means small rock, should Jesus have said “on this bouIder will build my church” lol
After watching the first 4 mins watching Vlad trying to distinguish Petros and Petra. Three questions immediately popped out of my head: 1. Did Jesus speak Greek to his Apostles? 2. What about the name change from Simon to Peter? 3. How would you explain the keys of the kingdom to bind and lose?
May God shower you with abundant blessings, my brother. While my ancestors were Muslims, I am the first in many generations to embrace the path that Jesus showed me to His One Holy Catholic and Apostolic Church. Jesus introduced His Mother to me, instructing me to learn everything about Him through her.
If a person or catholic loses trust in the hierarchy of the Church, he will trust and follow no one but himself, i.e., he will just rely on his personal understanding or interpretation of scriptures and catholic teachings and whoever opposes him is wrong. He will just accept the personal interpretation of others that aligns with his but reject the personal teachings of others that do not conform to his personal understanding of this or that scripture or catholic teaching. His pope is himself/herself.
@@marietav7342 If a person or catholic loses trust in the hierarchy of the Church, he will trust and follow no one but himself, Well that is something you ahve been taught and unfortunately it does not line up with God's word. His pope is himself/herself Again something you accepted without understanding that nowhere in all of scripture does it ever say that you as a believer can not interpret scripture on your own. There is no pope in scripture just as there are no cardinals , these are terms brought into the roman Catholic church after 385 AD not in the early church and not found anywhere in scripture. Sola scriptura emphasizes the Bible alone as the source of authority for Christians. By saying, “Scripture alone,” the Reformers rejected both the divine authority of the Roman Catholic Pope and confidence in sacred tradition. Only the Bible was “inspired by God” (2 Peter 1:20-21) and “God-breathed” (2 Timothy 3:16-17). Anything taught by the Pope or in tradition that contradicted the Bible was to be rejected. Sola scriptura also fueled the translation of the Bible into German, French, English, and other languages, and prompted Bible teaching in the common languages of the day, rather than in Latin. Sola Scriptura is saying that The New Testament is the Life and Teachings of Jesus and the original Apostles and the First Churches.. Sola Scriptura just points to THEM not just the Holy Spirit inspired Words, but the Holy Spirit inspired Authors/leaders and their Proven Authority as the true source to prove or test or Disprove future so called 'leaders' or future claims and teachings. Sola Scriptura means going all the way back directly to Jesus, John, Paul, James, Peter, Mark, Luke, Matthew, Moses, David, etc.. and going back to Their Lives, and Their preserved written teachings and traditions. Sola scriptura skips the questionable 'middle-men'.... thousands of years of Post New Testament groups and so called 'leaders' and takes you back to the first Source Leaders that were confirmed and are not questionable. Skip Luther and Skip the Vatican and just Learn the Truth Directly from Moses, David, Jesus, John, Paul, James, Peter, Etc... Please read the whole New Testament... you will find no popes, no cathedrals, no Statues, no Marian dogmas, no prayers to dead saints, No Vatican, No wafers, No fancy Robes, No Christian thrones. Please Follow Jesus and Him Alone.
@@marietav7342 Your current pope is now opening the doors to blessing homosexuals. Maybe not couples but homosexuals as individuals. Do you think that the pope should be listened to or the scriptures that denounce homosexuality? If the priest you are listening to goes against the scriptures , do you just blindly accept it? If a believer knows something is wrong in the church body and speaks up , there is a point where that believer may have to leave that particular part of the body of Christ , not to found another church as that is impossible , but to find a body of believers that believe the bible..
Let me correct you. Petros is little rock in latin. But like you said, he didn't speak in latin. Jesus spoke in Aramaic, kefa, and in greek is cephus, which also means rock. Protestants just dont have anything better to do but talk bad about the 2000 year old church that gave them the Bible. Their worship is based on bad mouthing Catholics instead of worshipping God. My wife was Protestant and i usto take her to calvary chapel. I pointed this out to her and that turned her off of protestantisum. We Catholics go to church for one thing only, to worship our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.
Great insight! That is correct, it would be "and so I say to you, you are KEFA, and upon this KEFA I will build my church,". Thank you for watching, God bless you!
@rightinthedome9973 Petros in latin is pebble. Petra in latin is rock. But the writer couldn't write Petra because like in Spanish objects and name are masculin and feminim. Let's say if your name was Joseph and I want to feminize the name I'll call you Josephina. It wouldn't go good calling Peter, Petra. Understand?
I have not heard any anti Catholics ,what I have heard is anti roman Catholic hierarchy arguments . No believer is denigrating Christ or trying to leave the only church available on this earth , they are however looking to scripture ( God's written word ) and comparing what is taught in the scriptures with what is taught by any church group . You may not like the term anti Catholic, just as we who are believers but will not identify as roman Catholics , do not like being called heretics as we go by scripture and not by what any church claims.
There is a level of ahistorical hermeneutics when it comes to many verses in the bible, which is why sacred scripture must be read in its proper context, which includes the actual wording and language used. Thank you so much for your insight, God bless you!
@@PraiseBeToJesusChrist I was Southern Baptist and Pentecostal. I love reading and at Bible studies I was noticing they would always give cookie cutter type picked answers. When I gave full answers people would tell me I was sounding Catholic - because it was factual?… so it all culminated one night when one man specially wanted my views on once saved always saved… great ugh… so I laid it all out and the pastors tried rebutting it but I easily brushed of their comebacks and that week I was at the Catholic Church getting some help and I came home. That’s a really really short storyline of how it happened.
@@Alexander-fr1kk Personally, I find many flaws with Catholicism as well as Protestantism and what-not, what exactly was it that Catholicism had that made you convert? What brought you to such a point of unagreement?
@@PraiseBeToJesusChrist I am a cradle Catholic, never really questioned things, but in these days it is easy to look at Protestant questions and find the answer very quickly. Putting aside Papal authority (See Acts 15:6-7 "6 The apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter. 7 And after there had been much debate, Peter rose and said to them, “Brethren, you know that in the early days God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. " There is the issue of the Eucharist. I just not see how you could read the Bread of Life discourse in John 6 (latter half most important) especially knowing from John The Baptist that Jesus is The Lamb of God, Exodus 12:7 that they must eat the flesh and further from Malachi 1:11 11 For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is offered to my name, and a pure offering; for my name is great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts. Which is what the Roman Catholic Church does.
@@PraiseBeToJesusChrist John six was very profound to me, but as I started reading the church fathers, which was not at all promoted during my protestant years, I plainly saw that the early church was the Catholic Church, and then I started reading the Bible, more closely and learning all of the scripture that was passed over and everything pointed to the Catholic Church. I was also in a “once saved always saved“ Church, and that just did not line up biblically either. I really felt that I had been duped and I was worshiping emotionally and not intelligently, where there needs to be a mixture of both of those. Also, my two main tenants of faith alone, and Bible alone are not biblical and cannot be found so that really rocked my world, and we were always told faith alone, and not works so that a man may not boast, but they were works of the law and there was a lot of type picking, and only using certain sentences to make a pastor have something say what he wanted to say. Just like the Romans Road taking sentences throughout the book of Romans, and then piecing it all together at the end to make it say what you wanted to say, is dangerous
Catholics shouldn't be listening to Protestants anyway, it's a venial sin, and mortally sinful if you actually attend in person. That was the teaching before Vatican II.
@@catholictruthreplies A man who is in search of history & knowledge is good. But he will end up in a man's value & men's system. But a man who is in search of God's heart wholeheartedly will end up in God's wisdom & understanding. If a man truly desires to know God, he will indeed find God and not religion or denominations. When I said a man who has stepped into living his life in a new way; in Spirit as Paul taught in Romans, will identify the true church that Jesus has built. It is not a man-made building system church. It is in vain when a person changes his denominations. It is of great joy when a person truly changed & born-again for Jesus & commit his way truly as Paul commanded. We are being deceived by thinking buildings or denominations churches are the true churches & temples GOD dwells. What can man build for God's dwelling place ? Yes. Indeed we need a gathering place to be together with the church and to teach them and to participate in what Jesus has commanded. We must not stop as Paul encourages each one as some have the habit to stop. But over the history men's feelings and attachment to the gathering place became great and they started naming it as orthodox, Roman-Catholic, etc. When a man has stepped into the Spirit, his mind shall be open and understanding of God shall be upon him. These gathering places are merely men's systems and religious laws. Yes. Listen, observe but not all things are to be obeyed. We must be careful of the leaven of the pharisees. In the end, the one true church that Jesus came to build is not the gathering place or Catholicism doctrines or orthodoxism doctrines. It is U,I and all those who shall BELIEVE in the son of the Living God. Paul gave the details of what truly a church is. Above all, if we truly seek and are desperate for God's way, i will leave U with this scripture Romans 12:1-2. Do this and we shall know greater things. The things of Spirit are unknown to those who are of the flesh. But to those who walk in the Spirit will understand. Nevertheless, if we are still feeding on milk for spiritual things, let us proceed further so that we may be ready for solid food.
@@catholictruthreplies hello there. I have given the clarification but I don't see it. This happened a lot. There are times I repeated the message again but each time it disappeared. When we understand things in Spirit. It is totally different than what men understood through men's history. If we allow ourselves to listen to the Helper, there will be no confusion what is the true church that Jesus built. Paul went on to clarify the true church in detail. He left no stone unturned. Just like God gave details about how to construct Noah ark. God is not God of confusion. But men indeed are confused. We can fool ourselves and deny the scriptures but we cannot fool GOD. Act 11: 25:26 If We are truly seeking GOD hearts rather than men's traditions or men's knowledge of the system, we will truly know God's value and not end up in a men's value and men's system. How? . Be as Romans 12:1-2 commanded. Then we will know the perfect will. Many are only doing the works of religion and not truly for Jesus. That's why beware the leaven of the pharisees. On judgement day many will call LORD LORD have we done this? Have we died for You?etc but Jesus will reject, U who practices lawlessness. Know truly who is the true church and temple of GOD. Then;we will tremble in fear and start keeping it as a living sacrifice, holy & pleasing to GOD. Where does the Holy Spirit dwell or Jesus or Father? When U know this wisdom & understanding, yll understand what u consider as one true church is nothing but a gathering place to be with the church and coming together we built God's building. Shalom. @@CatholicTruthOfficial have you seen the priest father luis toro debating protestants in person? They say he is the best apologetic in spanish..i have a video with subtitles that i want ypu to watch
Even if James is head of Jerusalem and that was the head church (there's no biblical evidence it was) it assumes that James unilaterally took charge over the church and pulled rank over the rest of apostles when it most likely would have been given to him by Peter's consent in the first place.
FYI. James was a common name at the time of Christ. We know of James the brother of John and son of Zebedee. He traveled to Spain to evangelize. There is also James the less who was a son of Alphaeus. He was considered to be head of the Church in Jerusalem.
@CatholicDefender-bp7my Yeah and the protestant assumption is that James wouldn't have gone to Peter to ask his permission to pastor the church in Jerusalem 🙄
The papacy was a big one for me. When I read the end of John and said that he asked Peter to look after his sheep I realized that sounded just like the papacy. I also realized that with a position in the papacy being 2000 years old and still standing strong and keeping teachings consistent for all that time even with the corruption that has occurred (not just the papacy but the church as a whole) could not be established by man. Over all the Eucharist was the biggest thing for me
You have this spot on. The papacy and longevity of the church lend credence to the fidelity of Christ to His promises, that He will be with us until the end of the world, and that the gates of hell will not triumph over His church. Thanks for sharing, God bless!
And You forgot what Jesus sent when He left this earth. And you forgot to read what Paul has taught about what really is the true church that Jesus came to built. That's why it is important that you know that you may have fear and keep yourself HOLY. If a man-made church keeps itself holy & no man inside the building does sinful things; how much more, you should know, to keep the one true church that Jesus built holier. Read your Scriptures daily that you may know to live in the Spirit. We are called to live in a new way. Then you will come into a much higher understanding about God's way. Jesus said, " destroy this temple(church) and I will raise it back in 3 days...." Something for you to head-start ur path again spiritually. And not just in the flesh. The eucharist or the Passover or the last supper! i believed it is done in every gathering place. Some denominations did it as often while some like four times a year etc. But in every gathering place beware of the leaven of the pharisees. We ought to observe, listen but not to obey everything . Have a discernment spirit of Daniel. Don't be attached to men made church gathering places as such orthodox, catholic, Protestanism, etc. Be attached to the true church that Jesus created. U are that church whom GOD dwells. He does not dwell in building or denominating men's self-defined churches. A person who is walking strong in Spirit will know to make his defense on the real ground and not on any denominational men created church system. Shalom. The Lord be with you.
This is true, I have yet to attend a single mass or catholic event that ever speaks disparagingly about another denomination. We must pray for our brethren who are in imperfect union with the body of Christ, that the Holy Spirit touches their hearts, and brings them to the fullness of the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church. Thanks for watching, God bless you!
It's remarkable how the same objections to the church persist over and over. I'm truly grateful for individuals like you who skillfully debunk these falsities with clarity and charity. Thank you! I'd like to reach out to you, possibly through email, as I have a doubt about the Eucharist that I would like to discuss
Bryan, I also noticed that when Matthew listed the 12 Apostles (Matt 10:2) He calls Peter “The First” even though chronologically it was John and Andrew that brought Peter to Jesus.
What I don't get about Vlad and others like him is if they speak from plain ignorance or they're purposefully being dishonest. If they are just honestly ignorant that would make them not interested in searching for the truth, which does not speak well of them. However if they are purposefully dishonest, that would make them plain liars and that would be worst.
I'm unfortunately not sure about that either. They - Vlad and other pastors from among his friends - like to make appeals to Catholics that amount to telling them to leave the Catholic Church for "Christianity" whatever they mean by that (they mean their own specific version of Christianity I think).
@@barborazajacova7633 I do not recall any non roman Catholic believer ever saying leave the church. Leave the roman Catholic version of the church Yes , but leaving the church which is Jesus Christ , No.

Former protestant, now catholic, Steven Ray debunk this on his website years ago. We explained that Jesus actually spoke Aramaic translate a lot better into. Jesus did not speak Greek to Peter. The account was written in Greek the term for the object of a rock is a feminine term, the reason the Greek does not use the feminine term on Peter is because he is a man and this would seem odd.

The key verses in Acts where Peter speaks with Papal authority is Acts 15:6-7: 6 The apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter. 7 And after there had been much debate, Peter rose and said to them, “Brethren, you know that in the early days God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. And so he pronounced the first Papal doctrine. And after that there was no more argument. Peter spoke, the matter was settled.
Another hint for Peter's primacy is that Christ provided Peter with a shekel to pay the temple tax for ONLY Peter and himself, but for no other apostle. A tax which only Aaron and his descendants (the Kohanim) were exempt of. [Mt 17:24-27]. The pastor gets it all wrong. He's an example of how a man with good intentions can cause harm by spreading wrongful information. Makes me think how great responsibility apologists have in their ministry. God bless you Brian 🙏

Really its draining hearing them judge, I get to a point where I just scroll away from their videos. Once again, thank you, and God bless and protect you. 🙏 😊
Vlad probably hoping to poach some Catholics to his church....OR he's trying to prevent some of his own flock from leaving his church, fearing they might have watched Catholic RUclips videos...
So we must understand that protestant is the people who are against the church of Jesus Christ. As catholics we must stand firm for Jesus Christ, because in Mathew 10:22 - Jesus say to his apostles "and you will be hated by all for my name's sake. But he who endures to the end will be saved". Mathew 12:30 - Jesus say "he who is not with me is against me and he who does not gather with me scatters".
Who translated the Bible into German, English, Danish and so forth for the people to read? Oh, the Protestants! And who persecuted and persecutes the true Saints and Christians and burning there books?... Rome, Rome, Rome.
The Catholic Church claims that Christ was just a peddler selling tickets to the Kingdom of Heaven, and that the Pope is the one who holds the treasury of merit to buy your ticket. This is a million times more abominable than all the persecution done by the Catholics!

Eternal debate about "Peter and petra"... Maybe a way to understand it a bit better: In Spanish, as in many other languages, we find that words can be feminine or masculine. The general rule is that when the word’s ending is -a is feminine and when the word’s ending is -o masculine (we use "it" when it is not masculine or feminine but "neutral")(. "Petra", translated in Latin and then Spanish is feminine "la piedra", while the name for a man is "Pedro". The same name in feminine is "Petra". My great grandmother had that name :). We have as well two numbers, singular to refer to a single person "tú", "vosotros/as" to refer to two or more people, masculine or feminine. In Aramaic there are two numbers and two genders, respectively they are: singular, plural, masculine, feminine. Piedra, piedras, Pedro, Petra. I just though about this.
@@dylanarmour6727There is no surviving Hebrew manuscript of the gospel of Matthew though, and it is arguably lost. The Greek version is argued by scholars to be a direct translation of the Hebrew original.
Hello, thank you so much for your reply! The New Testament was written in Koine Greek with some Aramaic and Hebrew thrown in. Koine Greek is essentially street-level Greek, similar to vulgar Latin meaning it was the Greek of the commoners. Hope this helps, God bless you!
I will say this as charitable as possible; I think we need to start being specific. Baptist/” nondenominational” are the most in need of guidance. This particular group has a tendency to ONLY read the new testament, but they fail to see the complete story of salvation and how the NT is the fulfillment of the OT (Context) Without reading the old testament, you only have half the story. I will say the Lutherans, and some other protestant do not share the same false arguments. Dare I say, Are Baptist even Protestants? From what I have seen Baptist/Non-denominational, don't believe in sacraments, everything is symbolic, and don't even have a worship service (they just have a Sunday Bible Study where they IDOLIZE their pastor). Even Martin Luther believed in sacraments and transubstantiation. Real question: are Baptists/non/Den… even protestant?
The pastor clearly needs to go deep in history, and then may be he will stop being protestant. He and others used this greek words Petros to argue that Peter is a small stone and not the foundation which you have definitively demolished.
Oftentimes there is an aversion to study history before the reformation with our protestant brothers and sisters. We should pray that the Holy Spirit incites a yearning to question, and to see that the church Christ founded is the one, holy, catholic and apostolic church. Thank you for tuning in, God bless you!
He is especially wrong concerning Petrus/Petra. Petros (Petrus) doesn’t mean “stone” but “rock” and only 1 ROCK. It’s true that Jesus used first “Petros” in this Bible passage and then “Petra”. Christ said “You are Petros and upon this Petra I will build my church.” In the gospel of John Jesus renamed Simon and gave him the Aramaic name “Kephas”. This means in English “rock” and in Greek it’s “Petros” or “Petrus”. The Aramaic word for “stone” is “evna”. In Aramaic are no masculine and feminine nouns but there are in Koine Greek. Petros is masculine and because Peter was a man he used the first the masculine word “rock” when Jesus referred to Peter then feminine word “Petra” because Jesus didn’t use it longer for a person’s name. But “Petros (Petrus) / Petra” are interchangeable words and their meaning is the same namely “rock”, and “Petra” is not a collection of rocks knitted together to form larger slab. In Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, the sentence would be “You ARE KEPHAS and UPON THIS KEPHAS I will build my church……” Because Vlad translates wrong “Petra”, his conclusions are also false. Jesus’ church won’t be comprised of his unified followers who confess him as Christ the Son of the Living God but on the Apostle Peter. The text is clear, especially if you read it in Aramaic. But also in Greek. Jesus said “You are PETRUS THE ROCK, AND UPON THIS ROCK I will build my Church….”. “Upon THIS rock” clearly refers to Petrus NOT to Peter’s confession as “Petra” has the same meaning like “Petrus/Petros” namely “rock”. If Jesus would have wanted to say he will build his church upon his unified followers who confess him as Christ the Son of the living God, he very likely had have simply said „on your faith of confession that I‘m the Son of the living God, I will build up my Church……“ But Christ didn’t say anything like that. Long time ago I asked by the way the Metropolitan of the Greek Orthodox Church if I‘m semantically correct with my translation of Petros/Petra and he confirmed me. So Pastor Vlad is simply wrong. And later in this video he claimed in the 16th century A.D. was another division in the RCC. That is of course nonsense, Luther invented the Protestantism at this time.
The irony is that this even reflects in his mother tongue: Russian, which the Russian word for "Church" is feminine, and yet his ontology with identifying the Greek genders is kind of funny. Technically this contradicts even what is known about the Church (the Catholic one specifically): the Church is feminine because she is the Bride of Christ.
There is something seriously wrong with people who spend their life trashing another church especially the catholic church whom they know not a single thing about! Instead of spreading God's love to people like they claim to do
Protestants argue that Paul was the apostle to the Gentiles (implicitly excluding Peter) because of what he said to the Galatians (Gal 2:1-10) - oblivious of what Peter had told and reminded the rest (including Paul) about his authority from CHRIST (Acts 15:7).
Where do Protestants get their authority from and permission to say what they say,it’s through their own authority and permission because every individual Protestant is his own church and like the atheists they are their own pope and counsel and only their views and opinions matter. Every Protestant believes once he has faith he can pick up the bible and interpret it because the Holy Spirit guides them, but if they disagree with one another who exactly is the Holy Spirit guiding from error, the best a Protestant can do is to disagree with one another and that’s Protestants and Catholics , they cannot say they are wrong because they believe in private interpretation. But the best a Catholic can do is look to the magisterium of Church and it’s doctrines and dogmas and the Pope, which is guided from error by the Holy Spirit and the early Church Fathers proves Protestantism to be wrong.
Probably not. There's no sense in throwing pearls to swine and giving power to the Beast. They will make videos all day long because that's what they do. Someone asked us to make a video on them, and we did. We showed their many errors and mistakes im just one of their videos. I have no doubt there are many in the new video, too. Most people just aren't usually informed enough to see the mistakes and errors they propagate Which is sad. We understand 100% that God is the only one who could open their blind eyes. Jesus couldn't convince the pharisees. And we have no doubt that we can convince them.
One thing he kinda gets kinda right is how a believer can forfeit their salvation, he doesn't teach OSAS. But with his definition of sola fide, he doesn't understand his definition contradicts him at the same time.
Simon son of John, do you love me?" Peter was hurt because Jesus asked him the third time, "Do you love me?" He said, "Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you." Jesus said, "Feed my sheep. Well done Brian. God bless you!

I think protestants have an issue with the Catholic Magisterium. They hate that we have authority giving us guidance through Doctrine handed down by the Doctors of the Church. We need to always have a shephard to continue Jesus' Church. Otherwise we would just have a cross in our church instead of the true presence of Christ at Calvary to remind us of Jesus ministry to preach Salvation through his death on the cross.
I am just starting to go back to my catholic faith. I noticed at this one church I went to they mentioned catholics in a bad light. Even not being catholic at that time it bothered me. Thats not how christians should treat each other. We must correct each other in love and pray for each other. Just rubbed me the wrong way. I think Jesus is leading me back to the catholic church God bless
I find it cosmically impossible to think it’s a coincidence that Jesus calls Peter rock and that the entire world and Israel was built on a real rock foundation by God Himself. Peter is prefigured in the ancient rock in Jerusalem. Traditional Jewish sources mention the stone as the place from which the creation of the world began. Classical Jewish sources also identify its location with that of the Holy of Holies.
From the first, JESUS didn’t say PETRA, he said CEPHAS in Aramaic! Aramaic doesn’t have male / female word distinction. It was translated in the Greek as PETROS because calling Jesus “ Petra” which is feminine would be so wrong. It’s such as easy thing to research.
Oh these protestants and their greek language knowledge. I've argue with one that wrote to me that according to him the bible promotes or legitimize poligamy and sexual activities before marriage.

And the Lord replied, "Who, then, is the faithful and prudent steward whom the master will put in charge of his servants to distribute food allowance at the proper time? Blessed is that servant whom his master on arrival finds doing so. Truly, I say to you, he will put him in charge of all his property. Prior to acending into Heaven, Jesus bestowed his authority onto the Church he founded. He didn't bestow his authority onto a book. This makes perfect sense when you consider that the result of interpreting the Bible differently than The Catholic Church is tens of thousands of different denominations.
This is key, because ultimately Christ founded a church, not a book. The book is the inerrant word of God, but the church functioned for nearly 4 centuries without a settled canon of scripture. It was through the church, guided by the Holy Spirit, that we have the bible today. Thanks for sharing, God bless you!
Of course they did. There was never a doubt in my mind that they would not. They had countless errors and mistakes in the first video that we developand I've no doubt there will be the same in this video too.
All I can say is that the more the Catholic Church criticized the more its shines or glorify. Jesus will not built a church that is easy to crumble and its foundation are always point to the truth. Even the demon recognize that authority of Jesus over Sacraments and even in Exorcism. Jesus absolve the sin of a human and his flesh form and thru his name, his Disciple can also do that, not because of their nature but by the grace of God.
there are some religions who stand for 100 years and is using the verse "if it is for God no one can destroy it" to further back up their 100 year church. Yet they failed to see the Catholoc Church was 2000 year old 😅
I loved what Vlad has said on faith and love and prayer, but like many other social media pastors (or just non catholic), he falls short on history and is heavy handed on anti catholic rhetoric.
Asking the questions because I really want to know what Catholics' believe: 1) you say, at the 2:15 time, "Scripture alone is not Scriptural.... it's unbiblical", So are you saying that Scripture is not true without man's manipulation? For example... the Olivet Discourse... Matt 24, Mark 13, Luke 21, Jesus said, "take heed that no man deceive you..."... Matt 24:3,4... and He ends this discourse with, "What I say to you, I say to all..." In order for you to have the correct "Interpretation", you must allow man to manipulate the direct Word's of God, in order to get the correct meaning? 2) Peter was indeed instrumental in the foundations of the church.... does that mean that Paul, the rest of the disciples and the early church believers didn't take part in this? How do you know that Peter was singled out "alone" in this matter? Just because it is recorded that Jesus directly spoke this to Peter, does that mean that Jesus never said anything to anyone else? How do you know that Jesus didn't give James, John, or Paul the keys to the kingdom of heaven? I know people today who have been to heaven and given keys. 3) Very little is said about 3/4 of the disciples.... does that mean they did nothing? How do you know that James or a different disciple didn't use God to strike someone dead when they lied to God? How do you know that Peter did the first public miracle? Does any Scripture state that Peter was the first to do one... or is this just based on the assumption? How do you know that James never said anything with the first 3000 people getting saved? Just because Peter has been given a lot of press, does that mean everyone else was sleeping? The fact remains in all of the arguments against Vlad is that they are founded on an absence of documentation. No Scripture states that the other disciples held back or that Peter was the first or that they didn't do what Peter did. The statements being made here are not stated, but assumed, and these foundations are then made and founded on assumptions. Building doctrines on assumptions occurs in both camps of the Catholic and the Protestant... it's a common strawman religious thing to do. I have no interest in the doctrines of men, but only in what God is saying and doing. There is so much assumption, opinion, conjecture, opinion and flat out lies that the only way to get to the truth is to remove man's influence. Let God be true, and every man a liar.
Thanks for the questions. Scripture is true and is always true. Men's interpretation of it is not always true or even usually true in many cases. But nowhere does the Bible say that it's the final authority for a Christian, which is why it's unbiblical. That's why Christ established a teaching and preaching the authoritative church to properly interpret scripture and regard the truth that he gave us. Man certainly does manipulate the word of God as you said though. Just look at the tens of thousands of contradictory protestant denominations who have been bickering with each other for the last 500 years over what it means. They disagree right down to essentials of salvation. Whereas before that, the Christian church was unified in its understanding of scripture especially in core essentials like salvation. Scripture was never meant to be interpreted by each and every man across the face of the Earth. That's like giving the Constitution of the United States being given to every single person im the country and letting them interpret it for themselves.
2. You are right that Peter was instrumental in many things. However, that does not mean the church was built on him alone. It was built on all the apostles who were said to be the foundation of the church in Ephesians chapter 2. Jesus gave his authority to all of the apostles who were the first bishops of the church. However, it was Peter alone who received the keys of the Kingdom of heaven, giving him a special primacy. And we see this throughout the New Testament. He is mentioned 196 times. The most next mentioned apostle is James at 29 times. John 19 times. Peter is always listed first in the list of apostles, is always the spokesman, is the one who makes the doctrine, has the revelations from God (Avts 10) and so on and so on. Paul was also very important, but again, only Peter received the keys of the Kingdom directly from Jesus himself in a special way. Scripture never says any of the other apostles received any keys. Anyone who claims to have gone to heaven and received keys directly is lying to you. Or are themselves deluded. For someone who goes by scripture, you are definitely going by things outside scripture right now.
3. You're just going by arguments from silence right now. The Holy Spirit reported and had written down what he wanted. The spirit could have written all about the other epostles. Receiving keys, striking people dead, and others, but most everything was reported about Peter and not the other 11. So we have no doubt that they did things too, what the Holy Spirit focused on Peter who was the leader. This is confirmed in all the writings of the earliest Christians as well.
I quoted the passage that states what you said it doesn't and that is, "Let God be true and every man a liar". Christ is God therefore The portion that is often RED in color is the final authority. We were never called to "interpret" Scripture, but rather to rightly divide what is already written. The Catholic church is just the 1st of the many denominations.... Although every one was started with a move of God... man eventually became the master. Thus leaving the denomination in the state of the Nicolaitans, which God hates. By doing so each became the example of the rejection of God for the replacement of mere man. The last move of God will be a culmination of all of the previous moves.... Purified. Indeed the issue of salvation does not come to agreement in many camps... however, Paul tells us to work out our OWN salvation with fear and trembling. .... therefore... Salvation was meant to be interpreted by every man across the face of the Earth. We all know the truth... it's the excuses that we make for it that define us. God Himself puts a strong delusion over those who do not love the truth... 2 Thess 2:10-12@@CatholicTruthOfficial
You keep repeating the same issue that was addressed and questioned to you... which you avoid. Your argument continues from absence... For you say, "Scripture never says any of the other apostles received any keys". The same holds true that Scripture never states that they didn't either. Your argument then becomes as valid as suggesting that Scripture never says the Easter Bunny isn't real.... and then continue by assuming that the Easter Bunny has a narrative worth exploring. Absence of narrative does not constitute a new doctrine. I do find it amazing that.... you being a Catholic have no paradigm for mystics. I personally know hundreds of people who have been to heaven, and they are not lying about it. There is NOTHING outside of Scripture about that. Paul addresses it in 2 Cor 12... the reason he had a thorn in his flesh was because of his mystic activities. Instead of bragging about his trips to heaven... due to the thorn in his flesh....he starts out about telling us about someone else who went to Heaven...then he brags about his tribulations. David was a serious mystic. Jesus said John 14:12... He is God... You must believe Jesus to be saved. He told us to seek first the kingdom of God... Matt 6:33... and Paul defines the kingdom of God as "power".... the same power that Jesus felt flow out of Him when the woman with the issue of blood was healed. It's always a joy to fell that power flow out of me when I heal the sick as Jesus commanded... Matt 10:8, and I've seen thousands get instantly healed.@@CatholicTruthOfficial
The NT distinction between “petros” and “petra” is moot. Dr. Thayer in his Greek English Lexicon points out that these two Greek words (one masculine and one feminine) mean “rock.” They are used interchangeably. In fact, when Jesus made this pronouncement to Simon Peter and the other apostles they were most likely not speaking Greek at all but Aramaic. The Aramaic word for rock is “Cephas.” No Protestant scholar I know of has ever been able to make such a distinction of terms in Aramaic. St. Paul refers to Simon as “Cephas” in Galatians 1: 18. Protestants always overlook or forget that Peter’s real earthly name was “Simon son of Jonah,” not “Peter.” The first pope was “Simon Peter.” He was never called “little stone.” However, if one wants to get technical it makes no difference. Because a stone (big or small) is still a rock. Jesus was not talking about size of rocks in Matthew 16: 17-19. Jesus was talking about “authority” in the Church. The kingdom of God is no democracy. 😊😊😊😊
Papias (c. ad 60-130), a living witness to the teachings of the apostles wrote, “So then Matthew wrote the oracles [of the Lord] in the Hebrew language” (Eusebius, History of the Church, 3, 29).
St. Irenaeus (c. 130-200) wrote “Matthew also issued a written Gospel among the Hebrews in their own dialect, while Peter and Paul were preaching at Rome” (Against Heresies 3, 1, 1). Matthew preached the Gospel orally long before committing the Saying of the Lord to writing sometime between AD 40-70. No date is certain and debate has raged with some wishing a later date. Tradition informs that Matthew preached to the Jews in Palestine for over a decade and later went to foreign nations including Ethiopia, Macedonia, Syria, Persia, Parthia and Medea. Matthew was a Jew writing to Jews. By some calculations, he quotes directly or alludes to the Old Testament a whopping sixty-five times! Readers today must “think” and read like his original audience-Palestinian Jews-to get the full impact of
@@iggyantioch Excellent and honest information! Jesus and all of the apostles were Jews who spoke, understood, and wrote as Hebrews living in first century Palestine under Roman occupation. If they spoke Greek at all it would have only been to the Roman occupiers. To each other it would have been Hebrew (or Aramaic which was closely related). And the Greek Gospel of Matthew was not written down for decades after the time of Christ. It was not originally written in Greek, but Hebrew. The Greek NT (not recognized as such for nearly another 400 years) was largely an accommodation for evangelistic purposes for the Gentile church after the majority of Jews rejected the Gospel of Yeshua the Messiah. 👍
@@iggyantioch Protestants read the vernacular translation of the Scriptures with an understanding that is not based upon the Jewish culture of the first century. They think that the message is directed to them across the expanse of history. This turns the Scripture into some kind of “Gnostic” theology book that only the “enlightened” can truly comprehend. Private interpretation is the source of so many errors for a reason. Sadly, many Catholics are doing the same thing in a different way. In the Church today we are being told that we can ignore or change Tradition to suit our modern notions of morality, ecclesiastical necessity, and the favor of the world. Some clerics even think that Hell is an empty place and that no one really ends up there. 👍
*****01:51** & **02:00** min. mark. These 2 points complete the insight into Peter and his successors. Otherwise, as we've seen over the last 500 years, people get totally off any orthodox understanding of the papacy, as guaranteed from the mouth of Christ when, in fact, He was still on earth! **02:13** min. mark. KEY, NUANCED CONTEXT, HERE, @Catholic Truth. Well done!***
Wow.....this was actually rather insightful, and about one of the most convincing cases I've ever heard made regarding Peter being the leader and the first Pope. I honestly didnt realize he was also called the Chief Apostle, either.
You are very correct. Ultimately, a hungry bear that thinks he is full isn't getting any honey; one must know they do not have full knowledge or expertise in order to seek and learn. Thanks for watching, God bless you!
They have no life in them. The Bible clearly states if you don’t eat the bread like Jesus said, you have no life in you. That is biblical that’s in John chapter 6 verse 52 and 53. Can you see you are what you eat.
Moreover Pastor Vlad proclaims wrong claims in his video "Catholicism vs. Christianity". He pretends for example Latin is still the main language in which the holy mass respectively the worship service is held. Another wrong pretention in this video is there has been a split in the RCC in the 16th century and it goes on like that.
In that video he also said that the prevalent church in Ukraine used to be Greek Orthodox when he was growing up. I was shocked at that level of ignorance because there was and still is the Russian Orthodox church, not the Greek one. If he can't get even such a basic thing right, one can doubt that he would care to actually understand Catholicism. These pastors tend to believe and repeat the same claims among themselves without verifying them. I believe it is because they have a lot of ex-Catholics in their churches and they are actively trying to get Catholics to leave the Church and join "Christianity " because they believe Catholics are all about legalism (which they call "religion"). It might be what their experience with Catholics is. I've been listening to many of these pastors and I like some of them, they are sincere and do a lot of good things but this unnecessary and uninformed anticatholicism frustrates me a lot. Seeing someone comment "I was Catholic growing up and then I switched to Christianity" is one of the most frustrating things ever, esp if you see it from people that you interact with online and love them as your friends and brothers and sisters.
Thanks for the video. However, I would state that the arguement that Jesus spoke Aramaic and therefore he would have used the word kephas is not a good or strong arguement to use anymore. I don't disagree that Jesus spoke Aramaic and that that is the word he would have used, But the gospel was not written in Aramaic, it was written in Greek. And because we believe that scripture is fully inspired and fully Divine, we cannot argue against the actual language used. So I generally stay away from that comment that Jesus spoke one language, whereas scripture was written in another because somehow you have to get around the idea that the wrong language or the wrong words were used in the inspired scripture. Other than that solid video
While that is true, Jesus is God. The word in scripture is his own word. So if he speaks the Aramaic, we know that it's the word of God also. I think both together make a good case because the Greek doesn't prove anything either. I understand where you're coming from though. The reason I choose to use it is because of the transliterated Aramaic word _Cephas_ which means rock. So I like to have that link available.
@@CatholicTruthOfficialthat makes sense, I guess I've heard so many people just use the argument that Jesus only spoke Aramaic and then they leave out any connection or link. So the way you described it is good.
From Steve Ray “As Aramaic was spoken commonly in Palestine during the New Testament times, Jesus and his disciples spoke Aramaic (Matt 26:73). Fragments of Aramaic appear, for example, in Matt 16:17; Mark 5:41, 7:34, 14:36, 15:34; John 1:42; and Acts 1:19. The Gospel stories were probably first transmitted orally in Aramaic, although only the Gospel of Matthew is reported to have been written originally in Hebrew or Aramaic.” (CBD, “Aramaic”) When under extreme pain on the crucifixion Jesus said, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” These are Aramaic words. “According to Matthew 27:45-50…” says the Evangelical Bible Knowledge Commentary, “…near the end of this period of time, Jesus could bear the separation no longer and cried out in a loud voice, Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani? These Aramaic words mean, My God, My God, why have You forsaken Me? (a quotation of Ps. 22:1).”
@catholic truth have you seen the priest father luis toro debating protestants in person? They say he is the best apologetic in spanish..i have a video with subtitles that i want ypu to watch
I know it won't change your mind, but maybe it will make you think. 1 Corinthians 10:4, “this rock was Christ” the church is the body of Christ and not the body of Peter Ephesian 2:20, “Jesus Christ himself being the "cornerstone". We can see that Jesus is the Stone of the church. The church began with the Jews and changed to the Gentiles, Romans 11:13. 3 times Paul says “follow me”. Why follow Peter instead of Paul? It is well written to follow Paul. A lot of things don't work with Peter for a first pope. Peter was never at Rome but in the east at Babilon. Peter was married... I'm curious, how do you interpret 1 Corinthians 15:1-4?
Thank you for the comment. We agree Jesus is the rock. Some people say that Jesus is the rock so Peter cannot be. But 2 people can be the same thing in different ways. For example, in a vision chapter 2. It says the apostles and the prophets are the foundation. But in the book of revelation, it says Jesus is the foundation. It's not a contradiction, it's just different understandings. Jesus is the ultimate rock and cornerstone, but he clearly made Peter the head of the church when he gave him the keys of the Kingdom and a special authority.
In 1 Corinthians 3:11, Paul declared, “No other foundation can any one lay except that which has been laid, Jesus Christ.” In 1 Corinthians 10:4, Jesus himself is called “the supernatural Rock.” But neither of these passages means that Christ was speaking of himself as “the rock” in Matthew 16. The same metaphor can be used in different places and with different meanings. For example, in Ephesians 2:20 and Revelation 21:14, the apostles are referred to as the foundation of the Church. In Psalm 18:31 and 1 Samuel 2:2, “God alone” is our “rock.” Yet in Isaiah 51:1-2, Abraham is called “rock.” God freely chooses to communicate his authority in varying degrees to members of the people of God in order to accomplish his governance and authority on the earth. God’s ministers participate in the prophetic, priestly, and kingly ministry of Christ. Jesus Christ, the rock foundation of our faith, is certainly capable of making Peter the rock and the foundation of our faith in him.
@bibleman8010 1 Corinthians 3 : 11 not speak about the "rock" if you continue to read till 1 Corinthians 3 :15, thos verset is used by Catholic to justify the "purgatory." But in reality, this is for the reward in heaven for the people who are saved. Ephesians 2 : 20, is clearly writes, " Chris himself being the chief corner stone." Not Peter. Psaume 18 : 31 and Samuel 2 :2 This 2 verset in the Old Testament says that God is the rock. You believe in Trinity? God is Jesus. Isaiah 51 : 1-2, is not Abraham and Sarah the rock there but God. We can see in the Old Testament that Even God is the rock. Change of subject: Can you tell me how you interpret 1 Corinthians 15 : 1-4? What is the gospel of Paul?
Hi @Paulflag I believe this is an awesome passage by Paul preaching the gospel. Are you pitting Paul against Jesus and Holy Scripture as if he is preaching a different gospel.
@niennunb5070 Hi! I rightly divide the word of truth. God saves people in different ways over the centuries. You can see before the death and resurection of Jesus, at time of Moses, only Jewishs who made correct animals sacrifice can be saved. It was a gospel of faith + work. Animal sacrifice is considered as works. At the time of ministery of Jesus, the time where Jesus lived, it was also faith + work, work as the water baptem. We not see water baptem in the Old Testament. So, it was another gospel. Now we are in the ministery of Paul, Paul have write more then half of the New Testament. To be saved, you need fallow Paul gospel 1 corinthiens 15 : 1-4, please go read it. The gospel of Paul was dicted by Jesus when Soul of Tarsus became Paul. The gospel of Paul is grace through faith without works. We no do good work to be saved, we do good work because we are saved. I can maybe send you video link that explains this or go see Robert Breaker youtube video who explains this more well than me. Or you can stay with Romain Catholic. At the end, salvation is a personal responsibility.

That is a dynamite quote. I will keep it in mind

If a person or catholic loses trust in the hierarchy of the Church, he will trust and follow no one but himself,
Well that is something you ahve been taught and unfortunately it does not line up with God's word.
His pope is himself/herself
Again something you accepted without understanding that nowhere in all of scripture does it ever say that you as a believer can not interpret scripture on your own.

@rightinthedome9973 Petros in latin is pebble. Petra in latin is rock. But the writer couldn't write Petra because like in Spanish objects and name are masculin and feminim. I have not heard any anti Catholics ,what I have heard is anti roman Catholic hierarchy arguments . I just not see how you could read the Bread of Life discourse in John 6 (latter half most important) especially knowing from John The Baptist that Jesus is The Lamb of God, Exodus 12:7 that they must eat the flesh and further from Malachi 1:11
11 For from the rising of the sun to its setting my name is great among the nations, and in every place incense is offered to my name, and a pure offering; for my name is great among the nations, says the Lord of hosts.

That's Cardinal Newman! Excellent quote. Thank you for watching, God bless you!
And to be stepped into the Spirit world is to cease believing in a physical building church system.
@@rishanborrymbai1104 Hi there, would you be able to clarify what you mean?
Act 11: 25:26
If We are truly seeking GOD hearts rather than men's traditions or men's knowledge of the system, we will truly know God's value and not end up in a men's value and men's system.
How?
Shalom.
May the Lord be with U.

@CatholicDefender-bp7my
Yeah and the protestant assumption is that James wouldn't have gone to Peter to ask his permission to pastor the church in Jerusalem 🙄
Jesus said, " destroy this temple(church) and I will raise it back in 3 days...."
Something for you to head-start ur path again spiritually.

Even the Protestant ESV Study Bible admits Peter is the rock in Matt 16:18.

The key verses in Acts where Peter speaks with Papal authority is Acts 15:6-7:
6 The apostles and the elders were gathered together to consider this matter.

And who persecuted and persecutes the true Saints and Christians and burning there books?... Rome, Rome, Rome.

Thank you Catholic truth i love the Context & Defense of the True Faith of the One Holy Catholic & Apostolic Church. 🙏🙏🗝️🗝️💯 Catholic
I'm a Protestant who's learning more about Catholicism. I have a question about the manuscript. Was the whole new testament written in Greek?
Yes, coin Greek. A different dialect of Greek that's used today. We do see in the scriptures Paul calling him cephus.
I think the only thing that wasn’t written in Greek was Matthew I may be wrong but it seems he was the only writing disciple and he wrote in Hebrew
This particular group has a tendency to ONLY read the new testament, but they fail to see the complete story of salvation and how the NT is the fulfillment of the OT (Context)
Without reading the old testament, you only have half the story.
In Aramaic, the language Jesus spoke, the sentence would be “You ARE KEPHAS and UPON THIS KEPHAS I will build my church……”
Because Vlad translates wrong “Petra”, his conclusions are also false.
Instead of spreading God's love to people like they claim to do
We need to be careful to whom we follow.
I’m so blessed that I was born, race Catholic.

All I can say is that the more the Catholic Church criticized the more its shines or glorify. Jesus will not built a church that is easy to crumble and its foundation are always point to the truth. It's amazing they can get certain things right. But when it comes to Catholicism, they can't get almost anything right. It's really weird.
Asking the questions because I really want to know what Catholics' believe:
1) you say, at the 2:15 time, "Scripture alone is not Scriptural.... it's unbiblical", So are you saying that Scripture is not true without man's manipulation?
Ok
Yes 21 century eyes and ears
Rather 1 century Jews/ early Christian eyes ears.
Thanks 👍
*****01:51** & **02:00** min. mark. These 2 points complete the insight into Peter and his successors. Otherwise, as we've seen over the last 500 years, people get totally off any orthodox understanding of the papacy, as guaranteed from the mouth of Christ when, in fact, He was still on earth! **02:13** min. mark. KEY, NUANCED CONTEXT, HERE, @Catholic Truth. Well done!***
St Peter, pray for him, Amin 🙏
Wow.....this was actually rather insightful, and about one of the most convincing cases I've ever heard made regarding Peter being the leader and the first Pope. I honestly didnt realize he was also called the Chief Apostle, either.
If they are sincere, they must do a deep dive on the early Church and empty their cups.
For the most part it is rare when a Pastor does so.
You are very correct. Ultimately, a hungry bear that thinks he is full isn't getting any honey; one must know they do not have full knowledge or expertise in order to seek and learn. Thanks for watching, God bless you!
💯🙏🌹
They have no life in them. The Bible clearly states if you don’t eat the bread like Jesus said, you have no life in you. That is biblical that’s in John chapter 6 verse 52 and 53. Can you see you are what you eat.
Moreover Pastor Vlad proclaims wrong claims in his video "Catholicism vs. Christianity". He pretends for example Latin is still the main language in which the holy mass respectively the worship service is held. Another wrong pretention in this video is there has been a split in the RCC in the 16th century and it goes on like that.
We will be debunking that whole video at some point.
Vlad should pursue the truth. He is a shepherd for many.
He is pursuing it and he just needs to go further.
Love ❤it lol 😂
From Steve Ray
“As Aramaic was spoken commonly in Palestine during the New Testament times, Jesus and his disciples spoke Aramaic (Matt 26:73). Fragments of Aramaic appear, for example, in Matt 16:17; Mark 5:41, 7:34, 14:36, 15:34; John 1:42; and Acts 1:19. The Gospel stories were probably first transmitted orally in Aramaic, although only the Gospel of Matthew is reported to have been written originally in Hebrew or Aramaic.” (CBD, “Aramaic”)
When under extreme pain on the crucifixion Jesus said, “Eloi, Eloi, lama sabachthani?” These are Aramaic words.
So that means Simon Peter was the first Dwane Johnson.
Basically, lol
Good point. Maybe if Dwane Johnson gets to heaven St Peter will sue him in on copyright law😊
'And the Church history' Listen who's talking.
Jesus did not speak Greek which has two words for rock. He spoke Aramaic which only has one word for rock.
This is correct! Therefore, you are KEPHA, and upon this KEPHA I will build my church.
@catholic truth have you seen the priest father luis toro debating protestants in person? They say he is the best apologetic in spanish..i have a video with subtitles that i want ypu to watch
How come Peter had so many weaknesses. Paul emerged as best Apostle of Jesus Christ. We must be like Paul not Peter
Ottimo lavoro!
I know it won't change your mind, but maybe it will make you think.
1 Corinthians 10:4, “this rock was Christ”
the church is the body of Christ and not the body of Peter
Ephesian 2:20, “Jesus Christ himself being the "cornerstone".
In Psalm 18:31 and 1 Samuel 2:2, “God alone” is our “rock.” Yet in Isaiah 51:1-2, Abraham is called “rock.”
God freely chooses to communicate his authority in varying degrees to members of the people of God in order to accomplish his governance and authority on the earth. God’s ministers participate in the prophetic, priestly, and kingly ministry of Christ. Jesus Christ, the rock foundation of our faith, is certainly capable of making Peter the rock and the foundation of our faith in him.
@bibleman8010
1 Corinthians 3 : 11 not speak about the "rock" if you continue to read till 1 Corinthians 3 :15, thos verset is used by Catholic to justify the "purgatory." But in reality, this is for the reward in heaven for the people who are saved.
Ephesians 2 : 20, is clearly writes, " Chris himself being the chief corner stone." Not Peter.
Psaume 18 : 31 and Samuel 2 :2
This 2 verset in the Old Testament says that God is the rock.
@niennunb5070
Hi!
I can maybe send you video link that explains this or
go see Robert Breaker youtube video who explains this more well than me.
Or you can stay with Romain Catholic. At the end, salvation is a personal responsibility.
Wow vlad has these many followed… I’ve seen a few videos of him and he gets so many things wrong. Makes me want to start a Protestant channel and talk wrongfully of the Catholic Church. Seems like that’s where the money is jeez
Lol!
Brian was unstoppable for like 5mins starting at 12:47
In greek petras doesnt mean rocks in ppural..not even the greek orthodox accept that.
Stone is lithos if i remember corrextly
