If you want to measure the output current of psu you have to measure input line of converter since it is a step down module drawing less current and output high. It all depend on efficiency of converter. With load measure input and output current since it is step down always input current is lower that is the amount of power actually you are drawing from psu
I am going to use one for mine. You need a bms on the battery and need a 60s to 80s (216v nominal to 336v nominal) battery to use it though. It requires making your own battery and is not for beginners. High voltage dc can kill you more easily than high voltage ac. You basically need to make your battery voltage equivalent to the rectified ac line voltage for it to work. If you don't know how to safely design and test high voltage circuitry I would avoid trying this and just buy a 48v battery to use with your e-bike. Btr battery has 20 to 50 amp hour lithium polymer and lithium iron batteries if you need long range on your bike and are ok with a heavy battery. Below 48v 30 amp hours I would get a lithium ion cell battery though.

This is actually the intended use for it. 120v AC to 220v AC in, 48v DC at up to 20 amps out. My use is the non standard one. The catch is motors draw well over their rated continuous amperage draw when starting. The starting draw is even greater when starting the motor with significant weight attached to the output shaft. So you would need a soft start circuit or a large enough 48v bank of capacitors to handle the high amp draw. You would also need a bldc motor driver (also known as an ESC) to make the motor turn. A bldc motor will not work directly on 48v dc power.
Can we run a 48v 1000watt BLDC motor using this SMPS? I do not want to use battery to power the motor. It will be used to power a turntable not any moving cart.
