You have revived my interest in my 61 Ford and up pre-60's Chevy Camper.
I appreciate you.
Love stumbling on humble RUclips channels.
I just bought a 1950 Chevrolet grumin I am going to be completely restoring it to the original specs.
I’m really enjoying your progress. Looking forward to seeing what you do with it.
I’ve got a 1961. The last time it moved under its own power it was in 1994. Was a bread truck then a fire truck. My goal is a daily driver / weekend camper.
Super cool! I’ve been looking for one of these for a while to carry my bikes to the shows.
Good seeing you have it back on the road.
Glad the “secret storage facility” has heat. Working outside in the cold and wet this winter isn’t fun. 👍👍
It would make a good motor home.
Good shit !!!
Been a Sub for a while, glad to be as it’s a great page to follow.
Thank you for being here
Awesome. Can’t wait to complete your 🚐.
Only 2 percent? That's like throwing a party for family, but the whole block comes over. Sure hope more people subscribe.
You have skills!! Good job!
Very cool truck!
Thank you
I really hope you make this into an off grid solar travel house with a shower and kitchen etch
That would be cool but I will leave that up to a future owner.
Polish it! I'm loving this project!
I believe thats what will happen
Was really hoping u were gonna show us how to take apart that rear axle
Its not too bad just messy. Look up full floating rear axle. GM used this type axle up to the late 80s at least.
Very interested in seeing what you do with the Van
Hey ! ! I am part of the 2% subscribed & have been for a while . . . . . and I own and drive a 100% Electric Nissan Leaf ! ! ! . . . . . wait . . . . . maybe I should find another channel to watch . . . . . . .
No , I like your channel. Let's me know what I'm missing from upkeep on a 1963 Ford pick-up.
You should paint an intentionally faded/aged looking "FedEx" logo on the sides just to keep folks guessing!
Mine has round lights on dash
As usual nice work should have been a cold ride with those open window areas
Gorgeous machine, I would love to get one someday. Is your Corrado for sale?
Has there been any progress on this project? Looking forward to an update, this thing is bad ass!
Yes there has been some. I have some bought some doors, the metal to reskin the sides, and have been working on installing a new fuel tank.
Curious what chassis swap you were going to choose I have a 1962 ford vanette and deciding what chassis to drop in
Im sticking with Chevrolet. I have a 2003 Chevrolet Express 1500 van that Im going to use as a donor. Wheelbase is within 3" of the original Grumman frame.
Why at the end did it show the whole body lowering to the ground??
That is what the future plans hold.
Where did you find vin # by chance
what kind of comfortable highway speeds you think these do stock.?
Im guessing 55 mph
Where do i find vin # please help i have one very simalar please help
There should be a plate inside the engine space to the right when you remove the dog house. That's where mine is
i have a 1 1/2 ton dually with the 6 cylinder 5 speed. never drove it. what kind of power and speed do you get with that 6 cylinder?
Im not sure about power, probably in the 140hp range. With it being a 4 speed I would say its good for about 65 mph without turning too many rpms.
@@4LaneBlacktop cool thanks.
Does it have a 235, or a 261 engine?
235
So this is an inline 6 cyl?
Yes it is, for now. Im swapping in a 5.3L Chevrolet v8
Gonna paint it brown right?
I really want to but I will more than likely polish it out.
NO! Aged "FedEx" looking logo . . . . . . & leave it as it !
@@richardhobbs7107 That might have gave me a different idea though
Tighten your brakes til you can,t turn the tire ,then back off til drag!
