Reebok has always been the best shoe I've ever purchased. My last pair i bought lasted years without any damage. And im glad glad reebok brought back the old logo

Great review, thank you for keeping your reviews as real and objetive as possible, I just can’t justify buying another pair of nanos but I will probably buy this anyway, it’s probably one of the better looking nanos in my opinion and the performance seems to be great.

At first the 9s seemed not as comfortable as my 8s. I have a 2nd pair of barely used 8s so I pulled out both insoles and the 8s are a bit thicker and softer. I put 8s insoles in my 9s and it was a big improvement for me. Now the 9s feel great.
The 9s also take a little more breaking in of the midsole.
I think it’s important to note the slightly larger heel-toe drop on the RF1’s. It’s noticeable enough to me that I don’t squat in them. I prefer a lower platform. Like the 8’s, and now the 9’s.
Looks promising, I’ll try them,. Hopefully they don’t squish the toes, while doing push-ups, standing on toes, etc. like the previous version do.

I heard there was some kind of legal troubles with bringing the shoe out. I'm not sure what exactly that is, but I know launching that late is not something they wanted to do.
I’ve tried met cons and everything in between these are the most comfortable shoes and they wear tough
Hello mate. May I ask you just for lifting heavy squats and deadlifts are the nano 9 better in stability than metcon 4. I watched your review of metcon 4 and they seemed to be rock solid for lifting.
I have been using by now nano 8 and had no problem with stability, but right now I am looking for new pair shoes. Nano 9 seems to me a little high in comparisson to my nano 8 and I am not sure how they will fit for deadlift, because I dont want any aditional deficit.

Many thanks for the in depth review. How do you rate them in stability for weightlifting in comparison to the metcons? That shrugging in the toebox will happen anytime or just when you tight too much the lacing? I really liked that classic looks and I'm inclined to buy them but I really love my OG metcon 4s..

CMEVA and IMEVA have no difference as far as cushioning goes fundamentally. It only depends on how dense the manufacturers want them to be. Some of the most cushioned shoes that the mankind has ever seen used nothing but CMEVA. Hoka Clifton 1 for example. The main differences are appearance, cost, durability, and QC procedure.
Have you heard much on quick wear on the knurling treads? My my forefoot after a month is breaking down very fast as well as even crumbling apart in places. Contacted Reebok about warranty, seeing if anyone else has had these issues. Have only had for a month, 3-4 CrossFit classes a week and only worn outside twice.
Compared to Metcon 4 XD or NoBull?
Hi I was wondering, how do these shoes hold up almost a year later? I found a good deal on these and am considering getting a pair. I have seen some reviews saying the sole started to delaminate from the rest of the shoe. Do you know if this is a common problem? Thanks for the detailed video reviews!

I never bought the 8's because I didnt like the look. I only wear 2's and im glad these look more like them. I think they look great. Ill definitely be getting some day one.

Personally I would take nanos... Even though I do like the tribase, the toespring angle is very aggressive which can be problematic for powerlifting. Metcon sports would be next but they're really big on me... Amazing for $100 though.
So you’d pick the 9 over the 6? I still find the 6’s to be the best shoe yet. I’m about to get a new pair and I feel like the safe bet would be just to get the black gum 6’s. What do you think? Get the 9’s or 6’s?
Also, what was the break in period like with the 9’s?
If you like Nano 6's, get another pair. I personally prefer 9's now, but I still think 6's are one of the best and I'll go back to them depending on the workout. If you want to try something new, get 9's. Break-in isn't too long, maybe a couple days of working out.
I have a men's Reebok CrossFit Nano 9 which I bought in 2020. I love the shoe. But where on earth can I buy a new pair in the UK in the year 2024?

I'm looking to get my first shoe geared towards lifting. I don't necessarily do CrossFit, but when the gym is open I do your basic compound lifts, and currently am doing some endurance agility type work. What shoe would you recommend for this entry level shoe buyer. Have considered the Grace, Nano 8, and Nano 9. Thanks

How much space there is before hitting the front of the shoe? I got my 9.5 and my feet measure arround 26.8 cm and I think I should got 10 or they gonna stretch a little?

Metcon, but the difference is not that big, nano 9 is the best option in my experience

Yeah, the 9 toebox is wider, but you're losing length. If you have Morton's toe, thats going to be a no-go.

Julio Andres you could get the 8s and be totally fine, but typically beginners need extra stability, so for that reason I’d recommend 9

No, not in my opinion. I actually like running in 2s.
Which is better Metcon 4 or Nano 8.?
Metcon 4 looks better imo. Nano 8 is better if you like the wide toe box. It's so comfortable from the moment you put it on. It flexes more naturally compared to the Metcon 4. With that said, I have a Metcon 4 and I love it. I just don't think the Nano 8 is good looking enough to wear outside of working out.
I am sorry Nike Metcon but you need to take a leaf off the classic and smart looking reeebok nanos which not only look better but also feel better on feet

@@AMRAP Well not really. Reebok redesigned it a bit and called this new logo Vector 2.0. The original vector logo has thicker stripes and the single stripe is different in color than the two stripes it crosses to. This Vector 2.0 looks like Asics Tiger logo from afar.

@@AMRAP very insightful, thanks for the detailed review! I've been looking for a trainer I could comfortably run in. The last trainer that really gave me the cushion I needed was the New Balance MX80 v3, but they've been discontinued, and the latest iteration of NB Fresh Foam trainers leave a lot to be desired when it come to upper structure and lateral support when doing dynamic moves. Gonna pick up a pair. . .

On FIRE! Ministries of Fire 260s are good, but personally I still prefer the 4mm drop for training/running.

No, that should mean they'll last longer. My year old ones actually just feel softer than my new ones.

Too much padding and i hate that the toe is swept up like a running shoe... They look like a running shoe to me. But, my favorite nanos are the 2’s.
