I watched a bunch of reviews for this shoe, and yours was the best one. You have a manner of speaking that's pleasant and easy to stay engaged with and follow. It also covered a lot of things, like an in-depth exploration (stretching, flexing, close-ups) of the structure and material of the shoes, that I couldn't find anywhere else. I was trying to figure out how breathable it'd be and you illustrated it perfectly. If I'm ever looking for a shoe review again I will absolutely look you up.
Have no idea why people think it's ugly. Imo, it's now a more versatile shoe and not just a training shoe, it's one that you can also wear outside the gym and doesn't scream gym rat hahaha
Solid review - I just looked this video up after buying 2 pair and I am STOKED that I bought my normal size. I bought my normal size in the nano 9 and the toe box was just too big. Great review. Also solid lifts :)
I'm not a fan of the look BUT I absolutely love your in depth review and that you address both sides of peoples concerns. Ordered myself a pair to see how they perform and I'm actually looking forward to a little bit more form fitting, so we shall see. Thanks as always good sir! You are the guru and GOAT of all things reviews for this community =]
I love old school sneakers but not so much on my training shoes. These might grow on me as more colorways are released. Thank you for the honest reviews.
Interesting shoe for sure, love the 9s. Wasn’t a big fan of the initial CW drops. Let’s see what is to come, saw a neon yellow on Roadrunnersports so that might get my money but we will see. Thanks for the in-depth review!!
I recently watched a lot of videos with reviews of crossfit shoes and I confess that yours are complete in terms of informing the public a lot. Also your site provides every possible detail for this type of shoe. So I ended up with R Nano 9, after I found them at the price of 90 €. I will wear it at the opening of the gyms on 15/6 (Greece). As of today, I am a regular follower of yours (from Greece). Keep up the great work!
Awesome video. Important question about box toe. I have Morton’s Neuroma and absolutely cannot wear shoes like Nike that squeezes my toe area, is Reebok Nano X a good choice for people with Morton’s Neuroma?
I just received my pair after ordering as part of Early Access. First, they are much heavier and bulkier than the Nano 9. Might be good for olympic or power lifts, but not for box jumps, running, or even pull ups or T2B. The top eye hole rubbed against my ankle and was not comfortable. It felt more narrow through the midsole, which made it uncomfortable. I wear a size 13 shoe and have a fairly wide foot. I do not recommend...the 9's are much more comfortable and usable. My other go to CrossFit shoe is actually the Nano 5's as well.
I do physical therapy, so I'm not running or weight lifting. I do a lot more in terms of movement, (stepping over cones, planks, trampoline movement, throwing a weighted ball, air squats, etc) stretching, leg press, and balancing (exercises on a foam pad, step movements, etc) so stability is important to me. I need help deciding, do I go with the lighter more flexible Nano 8's or the heavier but more stable Nano X's?
I initially wasn´t sold on the look when they were first announced but after looking more closely over the last couple if days I really like the fact they look more complex than the 9. I just ordered me a pair of the grey colourway. Can´t wait to see how they are against my metcon 4 and 2 free´s
Such a thorough review. Well done! I trust your reviews over anything else I see on RUclips. Would you ever consider doing reviews of different running shoes? Maybe you have in the past just thought I'd ask.
I have in the past but to be honest, I'm not much of a runner. I know my shoes but I'll leave those reviews to people that do a lot more miles than me.
These shoes are hands-down the best cross training shoes I’ve ever owned so far- I have 3 pairs now ... support, durability, versatility... absolute love on my feet
I'm ok with the white and gum but my foot by the arch was off the side in the 9 and they were a 12. Dont think going up a 1/2 size is going to help if they are already more narrow. It might be time jump to the Metcons. 6.0 still the best
These X look awesome! May switch to these, Metcons have become too narrow for me. Is the tongue secured in the shoe? I'm not a fan of when they slide to the side
What would you recommend me? I am doubting between these or the Lifters PR II. I am more drawn to the lifters due to the name implying they are created for powerlifting. I only do powerlifting and currently have a PR of 275 lbs for deadlifts and backsquats.
Wich shoe would you recommand for me ? im a beginner and i workout outside on hard terrain. Hiit excersises. Short runs like 1 untill 2 miles maximum. squats , push ups. star jumps. burpees. any suggestions ?
Great review, I've been watching all of your Nano vids deciding which pair to get. For strictly box jumps, mountain climbers, etc do you think the Nano 6, 8 or 9 is best? I have the TR Lite Lo for squats and deadlifts but want to use something else for plyo work
The 'heavy' part of the shoe is a downer. I do not want a heavy shoe when doing Crossfit. When doing weightlifting I use my lifting shoes. The Nano 9 is perfect for everything and my fav when it comes to all movements. So think I will skip this one
After seeing ur review I see more cons than pros and to me the Nanos 9 are better. The Nano X seems to just be a lifting shoe and the 9s are an all around better shoe. I appreciate the review tho.
When he holds up the Metcon 5s next to the Nano X at the end there's no comparison, the Nikes look like an athletic shoe and the Reeboks look like a casual pair of sneakers. Just too bulky and too much going on.
Hey man, I’m a foot and ankle surgical resident and part time fitnesser. I put out my first review on the Nano X. Told my "audience" to check out yours. I'd love if you gave it a look! Keep putting out the awesome content

Great you if you want to be slow. These things are bricks on your feet. Wearing them I felt like I had boots on. This is the only nano I have decided to sell preowned😠
I ended up purchasing the Nano X Pride. The chalk colorway and color hits sold it...no matter what color the outsole was! Nice message inside the shoe on the insole as well - Love unites all. I'm sure the outsole would look just as good with solid white. The gum color outsole has its positives such as being easier to clean, however that doesn't matter to me. Most all of my performance hoops shoes or training shoes have white outsoles. On a side note I purchased the Adidas N3XT LVL 2020 Pride basketball shoe in August when it came out..Reebok, being owned by Adidas pushed out their Pride pack with the Adidas...I just didn't see the Nano X release in August because I'm not the avg training shoe buyer. I'm still wearing last year's Les Mills HIIT flexagon trainers. I'm a basketball player and trainer...a fan of body pump, pilates, and functional game speed basketball training guru. A training shoe is needed for the stuff I do. I went with one of the best this time - thankfully Reebok came out with the 🔥 color way.

Reminds me of a Reebok Classic casual shoe. I am a Nike guy and I actually like the look of these Nano X’s.
Same they look clean and I usually never like other brands like dat
Came across a pair of the x1, saw the reviews saying they not durable. So are these any better than the other Nano models?

Not ugly, but initial colorways are terrible.

On my man, best shoe review I’ve seen in a long time. Even using anatomically correct terminology. “Liked” and “subscribed”.
Just subbed because of the family in the background. Love it! Three generations doing Crossfit.

I keep thinking I’ll eventually go back and try Nanos...but enough of what you said still have me sticking with my Inov8s. Still my favorites.
Finally the one review(er) I've been waiting for.

Favorite color in person between the black and the grey and gums?
Joel, any word on an updated power lite/CrossFit lite tr shoe anytime soon?
Thank you for this helpful video !!!
When comes other colour version out? Because i only like the Black/White Version for the Woman..
Can you tell me if the toe box is simular to the nano 8 in width?
Are these good for running jogging on treadmill? Thanks
How well do the gum soles do as far as street use? Do they wear ok? Better or worse than normal rubber soles?

How do these feel compared to the rf1s?
I had the first generation and loved them. I hope the toe box is as wide as the old design.
This was a fantastic review, spot on
how do they compare to the 6's?
Does anybody feel that the toe box is too roomy? When doing things like burpees, the material ends up folding up on me which feels weird.
Can you wear these in everyday life too?

Nobull all day. I switched to them years ago. No bs.
I bought Nike Metcon 5 on your advice 42,5 (i am a 42 Nike size) and it’s good. What size would you advice for the reebok nano X? Thanks for your help
franceiroca 42 should be cool.
I went 42 in X compare to my daily Nike shoes 41. X are tight in toe box and you have that feeling touching end of the shoe with Your fingers...
Is Reebok starting to take its styling from Balenciaga?
Guys can anyone give some help
on sizing. If i wear metcon eu43, which reebok size should i get?
You would get a 43

Way better looking than any past nano, still not good enough to switch from metcons for me though
Do they make the "clap-clap-clap" sound when walking like the metcon 5s?
I sincerely hope not.

The Delta looks a lot better, yes.
The Reebok old school logo looks sooo much better imo. It's iconic and easily recognizable.
Absolute no
Yep
I like Black White Version of the nano X but its only for woman. I dont know why..
Is this a good shoe for starting Oly lifts?
Yes. Very solid and stable.
Never been a Reebok guy, I actually quite like these though. Great review as always.
My first reaction to them was that they didn't look like what the typical Reebok shopper wanted...looks like that worked

Nano 2's fit larger, but i wear the same in both anyways.
