The best playing mechanic, the best roster in wwe and wrestling history, the cool soundtrack the iconic superstats entrace musics, the rock as the absoulute king of that year 2000 and a game full of his catchprases, the variety of matches and all the things that they improved from wm 2000 game its just pure gold ..the attitude era at its best. 👏

And before him Shawn Michaels from 1995-97 Steve Austin 1998- early 99 Rock took over after Shawn’s retirement and Steve’s neck injury which changed his career
Fun fact just in case for those that didn't know. At the beginning and end where we hear The Rock's "If Ya Smell What The Rock Is Cookin" thats actually taken fron The Rocks 2000 Royal Rumble interview with Michael Cole.

WWF No Mercy had its flaws (with the the short entrances) but made up for it with the new match types (Guess Referee),fighting backs stage (even though they had that in SmackDown),and cutscenes after the win with certain players (Rock,Kane,or any member of Too Cool). I push start so fast after the announcer says the name of the game I didn’t even notice the music until now!
Wow, they really paid attention to what was going on at the time. They even showed that moment when Linda countered Stephanie’s slap with one of her own.
NINTENDO please remaster this game with New graphics but keep the same soundtrack ,same menu, same story , also add online keep everything the same it would be a masterpiece!!
They wouldn't be able to remaster this game without replacing a lot of wrestlers. They'd probably have to use the modern roster. If you can't do Edge & Christian vs. the Hardy Boyz, why bother remaking the game?
Brian Smith same for me. This game is legendary, but they won’t re-release because... A) They would have to rebrand this game as WWE No Mercy and removing the WWF logos on the cover and in-game will be a pain And B) Chris Benoit is in the game and you know how stupid wwe are towards him. The first game that came close to this one (mechanics wise) is 2012 but they didn't have it where you could choose to fight in the back or the ring. It also lacked the swag of No Mercy. No Mercy is in a category of its own. There was another wrestling game was out around the same time. I can't remember if it was on super Nintendo or the N64. It was good but it too was No competition. They bring this game to the Nintendo switch and its up.

And the fact they took big show and gangrel out of the game. Like why did they do that with big show and have steven richards play his role in story mode? I understand gangrel got fired for something stupid and wasn't his fault at the time frame this game was made.

No Mercy had an irrevocable memory dump flaw and it’s STILL regarded as the best wrestling game ever. Bonus fun, replace the sound with Murphy Lee-Shake Ya Tailfeather and it works a little too well.
And people wonder why AEW Fans are Excited The same engine behind The Greatest Wrestling Game Ever is behind There Game And The Director This needs a Remaster - Highly Tyjie

The first game I ever learned how to play proper back when I was 3 years old. Still gets me excited to play to this day.

This game came out during the WWF Attitude era! I was in 7th grade when I got this. I created character that was a beast! I miss those days....
Only thing I didn't like was how they cut the entrances short. I think in wrestlemania 2000 they had them actually entering the ring.
