When I was young listening to Raja sir singing, I used to criticize why he was spoiling the song with his voice.. But after I grew up, I realised how magnetic his voice is that adds the real feel to the song.. ❤️❤️🌹

He was the first institution of film and popular music in India. The epitome of several strands of indian film music - somebody who advanced it - in terms of semi symphonic and sometimes symphonic orchestration, sheer fusion of jazz, funk, disco, indian classical, folk etc etc. And the simplicity of tunes which nowadays people are realising are heavenly once it is played a tempo down. But he enjoyed doing tunes peppy lively layered orchestrated and fusioned with genres and emotions. The only person who makes us feel 'we have our own John Williams and Bernard Herrman while he also happened to be our Fela Kuti, Sam Cooke, Beatles and what not.
