Well, it looks like they’re jumping on board with the big phone trend now too with the launch of the ZenFone 11 Ultra. Here are some thoughts after a couple of weeks with the phone!

Ok $899 for 16/256 not that bad but 2 years os update is not enough but I can get s24+ 12/256 for 999 + 7 years os updates and galaxy AI

Just wanted to comment that baby Thao is so cute. My daughter is a little older, but seeing those shots just brings me back to the simpler days when they were so tiny and cute and didn't give you sass over everything 🤣 Don't worry I love my sassy little girl! She keeps me on my toes.

Also, Google may have them remove the background playback. If I'm correct, some oneplus and xiaomi phones have already removed it to comply with Google's terms.

You have always been able to do app folders in the app menu, you just hold a app and move and drop it onto another app, and Bing, a folder 📂 then add whatever apps you want.

Huh... always thought it was pronounced "a sus", as you would in Pegasus. 🙂 I applaud them for continuing to reach for more market share with their phones but wow, how could they possibly compete with Samsung or the other top phones?

Hi Thao, relly hope you can answer my questions please. Does the phone have in built call recording? Does the phone have good signal and wifi, data connectivity please? How loud and clear are the call quality (including on speakers)? Thanks.
The I can honestly say in the android market, Samsung is just soo much smoother and better than the rest.
It doesn't even have a proper app opening animation; It's like I made the speed 2x from the developer options. This option alone makes samsung look very repulsive
Was Dolby Atmos turned on? Most reviewers are raving about the speakers. Unless they aren't using those amazing 5magnet drivers they use in all their other phones.

I really like the design, very clean and minimal. Unfortunately as you mentioned the cameras fall well short of the iphones and samsung ultras. Asus also simply doesnt have the brand recognition to get away with not including the charger in the box here in North America at least. Is this even available in Canada?

I'd prefer a 1440p screen but the screen on time must be crazy at 1080p !
I like Zenfone 10, the size was a bit big, but still handy. Zenfone 11 is too big, just like any other smartphone nowadays. What a pity.

I don't even know what Nubia lives to produce. Asus, on the other hand, has been making phones for years, and even its old phones still work well
I don't know if this and the ROG Phone 8 Pro having the same gaming performance because they have the same basis underpinnings
It has features such as a fan and trigger keys. Of course, there is not much difference between them. But the light behind the rog is very goo

Just stopped by to say this is a big mistake by Asus. There are way better "big" phones readily available. I was waiting for a proper Zenfone 11 but jumped on the Xiaomi 14 once it became clear Zenfone is dead.

If you want to come back to the smartphone market you have to come really strong. Don't try it out, but do it like you have been there. People are trying to try out new things rather than these big names but you have to come strong

This is like the worst phone in recent years. Asus really just took the ROG name off and LED back panel off and called it a day.
Lots of OEMs are struggling to make money due to Samsung (mainly). Samsung's predatory pricing and seven-year support have meant that, at least in the Global market, ASUS and Chinese OEMs are sinking. Also, compact phone sales are in decline. ASUS, therefore, went the most economical route and just debranded the ROG Phone and called it the Zenfone. If that means they can survive that is better than not.
Apple has been dropping the same phone for the last three years.

It pretty much tiks off all my boxes, big screen, big battery, decent camera, good charging
being a Verizon customer, i can't buy this phone. Shame Asus!
